The Formaldehyde Archives is a personal project of yours truly, your dutiful scribe of the horrors that lurk in the darkened spaces between the tiles of laboratories and the scrawled, frantic lines of writing composed by those who truly have gone mad in the terrible things their own hands have committed. The litanies of pain and peculiarity found in the lines of their palms stained crimson and embalmed in the saline stench of death and bleach.

Entries regarding unethical science and strange zoology posted weekly. Illustrations monthly.

The human mind is capable of many terrible, wonderful, horrifying things. Some bring us to the edge of the cosmos, where the creatures bound in cylinders of chrome and steel drawn too taut and too tight- die in the heat of their own breath, sucked in and wheezingly pressed out over and over and over again. Others leave us to the most damp, rotting corners in the bowels of the earth- sodden with clay and methanol. We know about those who touched the stars and returned to the earth, just as we know about those who gazed upon the most glittering crystalline fruits in the caves and mines of our homes. We know, too, about some monstrous things just as well.

But humanity is a swollen beast of knowledge, forever shambling to devour more.
