FF X Female Protagonists
“But now I’m not afraid to say what’s in my heart.”
Rem lifted her eyebrows at the question. The woman’s clothing certainly didn’t seem familiar at all, nor her appearance. A stranger in Rubrum? Weird. “You are in Rubrum. Suzaku Fiefdom of Rubrum, to be exact.”, the student explained and turned a bit to point out at the building behind her. “And that’s the Peristylium Suzaku, Rubrum’s magic academy.”
The brunette focused her gaze back on her new acquaintance, her head tilting in curiousity. “How did you end up here, if you don’t mind me asking.”
Yuna blinked. "Rubrum?" The gunner gave a nervous laugh. "I don't really know. Seems I've made a habit of ending up in places with no idea how I got there." She sighed softly, it wasn't exactly a fun habit to have.
“I’ve been okay - traveling a lot. You know me~” She smiled again, pulling away a little to look at the other. “What about you?”
"I've been good~" Yuna smiled at her cousin, same Rikku as always. "I've just lounging around now that things are calm, it's kinda getting boring though.."
“Yunie!” Excited to see her cousin again, the blonde ran over and hugged the other tightly, grinning. “I missed you!”
Yuna hugged her cousin back just as tightly. "I missed you too!" The brunette giggled happily. "Have you you been?"
“Yeah,” He gave her an awkward half-smile, “Pleasure.”
He eyed her carefully, just in case she decided to suddenly attack or something. He was wary of her movements. He didn’t recognize her clothing; it didn’t look like anything he had seen from the four nations of Oriense. She had to have come from someplace else…but was that even possible?
He wanted to ask but it seemed to suspicious - then again a mysterious girl in unfamiliar clothing was suspicious enough. Instead he kept his arms tucked under his cape, looking away.
He wasn't exactly the warmest person but she was fine with that. He didn't seem like a bad guy either, still, she kept her distance to keep him comfortable. Yuna gave a small nervous laugh. "So..umm...I'll just go, eheh.."

A bright smile appeared upon the student’s lips as she bowed a bit to the other female. The girl’s kind smile made it quite easy for Rem to introduce herself without any second doubts. “Rem. Rem Tokimiya.”, she said and bowed once again.
Yuna gave a light giggle, returning the bow. "It's lovely to meet you, Miss Rem." She tilted her head, surveying the other woman. "You wouldn't happen to know where I am, perchance, would you? I'm a little lost.."
Yuna was vaguely surprised at the recent influx of unfamiliar faces, but none the less, she welcomed everyone with a kind smile and a polite bow. “I’m Yuna and you are..?”
He took a single step forward, hesitant at first. There was a gentle expression on the girl’s face but he knew better than to trust her so easily. He was unsure of what to do, however.
“…Machina.” He finally answered after a few more seconds of silence.
She blinked, feeling his hesitation. "Machina?" it was odd, Yuna never met someone named after machinery before. "It's nice to meet you!" The brunette smiled brightly.

"Rikku!"
Yuna called out to her cousin, waving and smiling brightly.
“Guess it’s safe t’ say that we were fortunate enough not t’ have t’ deal with war for thousands of years. Granted, there’s still quite a few tensions between Gran Pulse and Cocoon and neither one wants anythin’ t’ do with th’ other, but it could always be worse. I’m certainly not complainin’.”
With the mention of a man-made monster, she shuddered slightly. She never could understand why people sometimes went to such great lengths in order to obliterate life— especially that of the innocent. Of course, certain circumstances were completely understandable, as in the action of self-defense, but …
“Nah, ya aren’t ramblin’. That Sin thing sounds like a royal pain. No one’s bothered t’ take it down yet? Or are things just not that simple?”
"Sin was finally defeated over two years ago."
She sighed, almost contently. "Originally it was thought that the way to destroy Sin was to become a Summoner, taking along a guardian or two and go on a pilgrimage to collect Aeons and hopefully make it to Zanarkand.." Yuna paused, for a moment. Thinking about it made her a tid bit queasy, knowing all of it was for nothing. "And in Zanarkand, the Summoner would sacrifice their guardian to become the Final Aeon."
Yuna's tone softened slightly, her voice becoming more somber. "The Final Aeon would destroy Sin, then turn on their summoner and kill them too. And over time, a period which we call The Calm, The Final Aeon would become the new Sin. But no one new that back then." The girl crossed her arms over her chest, shaking her head slightly. "I became a summoner, after my father. My guardians and I figured out a way to get rid of Sin for good, from the inside out. It worked and Spira now lives in The Eternal Calm."
She let out a half-hearted laugh. "Minus the conflicts from the factions, of course."
