Might be cheating slightly since this is the first line of the second chapter of a WIP, but I rewrote this paragraph like ten times to get something Iâm happy with, so this feels like the right move. (Also I changed one of the words again in posting it here, soâŠ)

This is the best description Iâve heard for this method, I always thought it was bullshit because I never heard a description that actually explained how to do this other than âtap your head 20 timesâ.
I have anxiety-induced hissing, which sounds/feels different from sound-induced tinnitus (which I have also experience). Sound-based tinnitus actually sounds like youâre âhearingâ something in your ears, whilst the hissing I have feels like itâs âinside my headâ, if that makes sense. But this technique still helps!!

She had too much on her plate, between starting university, being Ladybug, and the mantle of the guardian, she wasnât ready for a new relationship so soon after she and Luka broke up. Alya just wanted Marinette to be happy (and maybe go on a date with her new friend Adrien). What else could Marinette do but accept when her new friend offers to be her fake boyfriend to help her avoid Alyaâs matchmaking attempts?

Adrien is in a Discord call with his friends in the Ultimate Mecha Strike server that Marinette is also part of. He's talking to a few of them and his headphones are doing too good of a job canceling the noise around him, enough that he can't hear Marinette talking to him because of the voice channel he was in. Marinette gets tired of not being heard and hops into the voice channel. Adrien excitedly says, "Hey, princess. What are you doing here?" "I just came in here because you couldn't hear me when I was saying 'Good night, I love you.'" Marinette popped off the voice chat and Adrien followed his girlfriend offline for a minute to say a proper goodnight to her before coming back to spend time with his friends on the server.

I stumbled onto this prompt (on mobile) and was like âoh, this is cuteâ for the first few lines. I got through the entire first paragraph before I realized this is my prompt.

art block is your brain telling you to do studies.
draw a still life. practice some poses. sketch some naked people. do a color study. try out a different technique on a basic shape.
art block doesnt stop you from drawing, it stops you from making your drawings look the way you want them to. and thats because you need to push your skills to the next level so you can preform at that standard
think of it as level grinding for your next work.
As a scientific illustrator- this is 100% true and going to review your basics will fix it every goddamn time. Not only does it keep your skills sharp, when youâre not emotionally invested in the final product of a piece, you relax and your brain makes more/better art juice for you. So, when you get back to that big/important piece? Youâll know what to do and how to do it.
Nothing in nature blooms all year round. Rest, and take care of yourself.

You know how all of us have a million drafts of half-or-less finished things on our computers? Those are your writing studies. You can retrun to those at any time (like literally, Iâve picked up things that have been in my drafts for a decade to fiddle with them)
But if none of your prior studies are appealing, you do some writing in a genre or format you usually donât work in. Character Profiles, Strict 100-word-drabbles, chatfic, epistolary works, historical research, high fantasy self-indulgent nonsense, Smut, a new fandom, goddamn free-verse poetry if you really want to get out there- put your current project down for a nap and go try something new for a bit.
If youâre having art or writing burnout from a lack of energy, you can also just read or look at a different genre than you normally do. Read something our of your regular wheelhouse, go to an art exhibit, go from physical to digital media or vice versa. This also works for either kind of creative Block- Canât think of where to go with the next chapter of your fic? Go draw a life study. Canât get an illustration project to look right? Go read a new book.
Sometimes you gotta let your brain do light exercise after a major mental athletic events.

We are halfway through April now which means my Adrinette April Fake Dating AU is halfway through.

Marinette didnât want to date. She had too much on her plate, between starting university, being Ladybug, and the mantle of the guardian, she wasnât ready for a new relationship so soon after she and Luka broke up. Alya just wanted Marinette to be happy (and maybe go on a date with her new friend Adrien). What else could Marinette do but accept when her new friend offers to be her fake boyfriend to help her avoid Alyaâs matchmaking attempts?
I highly recommend starting this fic sooner rather than later because the second half goes absolutely wild.
I don't know how much people know about philosophical concepts, but I'm proud of this title so I'm going to explain it just because I want to.
A 'Platonic Ideal' doesn't have to do with friendship like I think most people interpret it (especially in this fandom). The concept basically boils down to 'in a perfect world, this is what ____ would look like.' So in this case, 'in a perfect world, this is what love would look like.'
