I just rewatched the 2008 season review and, again, I got to the final round and the last lap in Brazil I just start crying I can’t handle it, Felipe was so close and I am just so angry at Hamilton still after all these years. It doesn’t help I am sleep deprived, just like I was when I watched the race live.

Felipe was so close to being world champion. Just imagine if Felipe had won that title and Lewis had choked again, would he have ended up going to Mercedes? Would he have stayed at McLaren as long as he did after 2009? What about Felipe? Like nobody was gonna stop Jense in 09 or Vettel’s four-peat, but those two guys would have had such a different career path if Timo had been able to hold on for one more corner.

remember when stepney sent coughlin some ferrari documents and coughlin got his wife to get them photocopied at the local store and that observant store person was the one that contacted FIA???? 2007 was a different time.

As Danny on-board at Monaco supersedes Hamilton on-board at Monaco for best part of the F1 season, Hamilton has a Senna 92 like performance. Such is life.

Ligier line-up, 1987. Laffite never raced for Ligier in 1987, he retired after a bad crash in 1986. He was replaced by Italian Piercarlo Ghinzani.

The Alfa Romeo badge on the front is a misnomer too. The engine was reportedly so bad during testing that Arnoux demanded it be switched. The Megatron engine forced the rear suspension to be redesigned and Ligier missed the first race of the season in Brazil. In his first start, after the following race at Imola, Arnoux scored a point. This would be the only point scored by Ligier that year.
