*Scout noticed Vanity and ran to her.* "HEY! You’re that girl I met at the bar! How ya doin', hotcakes?" *He asked, his attempt to be smooth failing miserably.*

*Little did the two know that they were being watched by a psychopath in the distance: Ass Pancakes. He slung his weapon behind his neck: the Warhammer of Zillyhoo (yes, like the one in Homestuck) and wrapped his arms around it. He hid behind a tree, but his hammer was a deadly callout to his current whereabouts…*

+ The butcheress was peacefully sitting on a stump before his sudden approach- +

+ She jumped, recognizing the voice and sighing. Jasi turned around, her gaze judgmental and unsure. Crossing her arms, she wondered how the heck he got here. +

+ She could feel another set of eyes on her though, and was on immediate alert… +

*Scout smiled happily, his metal bat shining in the light. However, his happiness to approach her seemed so sudden. Was he hiding something? Perhaps. Finally, he spoke up.*

"So uhh…..I uh- I know dis chicken place dat’s pretty sweet! So- uhh- wanna go, tutz?"

*Scout said with a nervousness in his voice. He asked her on a date before at the Evergreen Bar, but after that interaction, he seemed to back out on the plan together. Yet, here he was, finally trying again. He waited with anticipation for Jasi to give some form of response, but he would not be sad if she rejected him on the spot: as that was a normal occurrence for someone like Scout.*

*In the distance, Ass Pancakes continued to monitor the conversation between the high-energy mercenary, and the soft-spoken butcher girl. There was a hint of lingering blood on his weapon from his previous encounter. The blood glistened in the son, warming its freshness still. The smell attracts many flies, and it may even attract Jasi.*

*As the flies swarm his weapon, Ass yells, revealing himself like a stubborn cowlick on school picture day.*

"HEY-! GET AWAY FROM ME—!!"

+ Jasi stared at him. She… didn’t know how to respond to that, not like she could even do so- No one had really ever asked her to GO ON a date. What would that even entail? I mean, eating of course. But… did she even want to?- +

+ …When she saw Ass Pancakes, she hissed. Threat spotted. She drew her cleaver and prepared herself to fight. +

*Choco is scampering around for food and nesting materials*

+ Jasi smelled the sweet scent of something and blinked. That wasn’t meat. Was that… chocolate? +

+ Turning, she tried to find out where the smell was coming from… +

*Choco was currently trying to steal piece of bread*

+ She watched the little critter do so. Interesting! Food animals, now that was new. It was… oddly cute. The only ‘animal’ she knew was Kevin, and he was… certainly something, thats for sure. +

*Choco notices her and waddles over, gently pawing her leg*

+ She looked down at the critter. Jasi was surprised it had approached her. The butcheress crouched to get closer, staring at it with curious intent and wonder. +

*Choco begins croaking, likely trying to sing for her. He’s a bit off key but he’s doing his best*

+ It took her a moment to realize what it was doing. When she realized, she paused… that was… so cute. +

+ She began to hum, encouraging the critter to continue trying. +

*Choco wags his tail and tries to match her tone, he keeps messing up at times but he’s doing much better*

(He’s a good boy :3)

+ Jasi smiles under her mask. She was very entranced by this creature. Where did it come from though? Only humanoid creatures resided here. +

+ She held out her hand, allowing it to sniff at her. Animals were much less likely to be eaten by Jasi, plus this one had caught her heart. +

*Choco sits on her hand, which was his way of asking to be picked up*

+ The butcheress gently started to lift the small critter up, placing her other hand gently under him to add more support. Similar to holding a kitten. +

+ She giggled. Okay, this was such a cute critter. She wondered if it was hungry. Jasi looked around to see if she could find something edible to give to the little thing. +

+ While searching, she found a bloxy cola. It’d been left on the ground from a previous match. Maybe it still had some of the sweet, energizing drink in it? +

+ Shifting the small critter gently to her other arm, she bent down to pick up the drink. It hadn’t been opened. Jasi held it to the small creature to allow him to sniff it. Mainly to see if Choco wanted it. +
