"Amor, you still haven't told me where we're going?"
A smile crossed Lovino’s features as he turned the key that was now in the ignition. “Well that’s for me to know and for you to find out.” He reached over to pinch his cheek before focusing his attention on the task at hand. After making his way out of the drive way he knew he was would have to drive as carefully as possible as not to rattle anything that he had in the trunk. He just hoped Antonio was paying too much attention the route they would be taking to the park.
Lovino stares up from the container of fruit with a deep sigh. “Dio, Antonio. What a horribly beautiful fate I have found myself in. What ever shall I do?” He ponders for moment. “Guess,I’ll have to get used doing stuff like this.“ He begins to pepper his face in kisses before placing a finger his nose.
Antonio had intended on grabbing another sandwich - they were so tasty, god; he’d never deny that Lovino was a genius in his talents. But at the kisses, he seemed to only burn up. His entire face seemed to be on fire and his body trembled slightly, stopping only once the finger had been rested over his nose.
Eyeing the finger, he reached a hand up to grasp it then lowered it down to his lips, kissing the tip of his finger at first then kissing up it, over to the back of his palm. Both his eyes were shut as he did this, opening only to gaze into his eyes. “Te amo.” Only after that did he only let go and return to eating, eyeing the sky now. “Look, ah.. They’re starting to show up–”
He could feel the built up of heat gathering at his cheeks. The hand that held the rim of the container fell from his grasp, he felt as if he was going to melt right then and there. The moment that his eyes met with those of Antonio’s he wanted to just fall back and squeal just slightly.
He couldn’t explain the excitement that overtook his form anytime he was kissed or even touched by the other. It took Lovino a second to realize he had been spoken too. “Huh, oh.” He pushed the hair back from his face. “So they are,I’m sure everything will be beautiful tonight.“ He smiled brightly at him. "Ti amo.” He gave a bit of a sigh “Enjoying the food."He pokes at his stomach

“You?” A laugh, then another bite - and then a swallow after a few munches. Wiping over his lip with a serviette, he simply smiled and shook his head. “No, no– I think you’re more unlucky than anything else,” another laugh. “You’re stuck with me for the rest of your life - no take backs!”

[instead of an air horn, a gentle kiss on the forehead] You are safe.
I guess this is a good thing

Eyes settled upon the container Antonio held. “It was too good of an idea to pass up.” He reached over and pulled another one towards him opening it, inside just assortment of fruit. “Yeah, let’s eat.”
Within the container, as he pulled the lid off, appeared to be a few sandwiches that had the bread toasted somewhat for that added crunch - just the way he liked it. Taking one out, he looked over at Lovino and smiled before taking a bite– oh. As he had expected, this sandwich blew his tastebuds away.
“This is-” He spoke in between munches, only to stop speaking entirely to finish off what he had in his mouth. “-so good! Dios. I’m lucky.”
He placed a piece of honey dew melon in his mouth. Even though he personally disliked being watched as he ate, just seeing Antonio's expressions and the clear enjoyment he was experiencing brought a smile to his face. He couldn't help but chuckle, the man that sat next to him just brought him pure and utter joy. He shook his head. "No, I'm the lucky one."

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t want to scare like that. I just let my thoughts spill at the wrong time. I would’ve done this at home but didn’t want Humpty and Dumpty messing things up for us.” Rubs Antonio’s cheek before laughing “You’re such a dork, I love you. I promised a nice date and this Italian is going to deliver.“
Antonio sighed blissfully; all the worries he had were washed away now and for the first time, in a while, he finally felt at peace. “I love you too. Honestly I-” He shook his head, laughing a bit. “I thought you forgot about the date thing. I should’ve known better.” Reaching over to one of the food containers, he pulled it closer to them before popping the lid off. “Let’s eat?”

Antonio squeezed Lovino’s hand, wiping his eyes once more with his free hand before scooting to be a bit closer to Lovino, twining their fingers as he did. His cheeks seemed to redden quite a bit from his words. It was always a joy, one laced with surprises, whenever he’d speak in such a manner to him.
He felt very loved and wanted.
“Dios,” a soft sigh, one of bliss as he rested his head against Lovino’s shoulder. His gaze was set back on everything on the blanket, then at the burning candles. “You gave me a scare, amor. All this to tell me that– But you are blind, because the only star that can come close to me and surpass me, is the one I’m deeply in love with.“

(This isn't really for Lovino, but for his mun) I love how you portray Lovino! I hate when people see him as only a grumpy bum and nothing more, but you're different and actually see him as more than that, so thank you for your amazing way of seeing my favourite Hetalia character <3
OOC :((( Thank you so much for this message, it means a lot to me. ♡♡
-blows u a kiss- For u u perfect boy <3

He just hoped Antonio was paying too much attention the route they would be taking to the park.
He stood there, watching as Lovino walked and lit up the candles. With a gulp, and a flush over his features, he quietly followed and sat himself upon the blanket; eyes wandered from the candles, to that of the nearby lamp posts, then the contents resting over the blanket until finally, his gaze fell on Lovino.
A bit teary eyed (although he had yet to notice it), all he could do was smile as the emotional was caught in his throat. And here he was, worried he was about to be broken up with - what an idiot, he truly was. “Are we-” A pause, as he cleared his throat and wiped at his eyes. “-going to watch the stars tonight?”
Lovino gave a quick glance over Antonio’s features he took notice of the slight wetness upon his cheeks. Had he been crying? Most likely it was probably due to the troubling words he spoke just before exiting the car. So much had been on his mind as of late, he wanted reassurance for the most part. Inching just a bit closer to him he place a kiss upon his forehead. “Sí as promised.” He gave him a smile.
“I wanted to see if i could find a constellation that matches the freckles upon your face. Or even a star that twinkles as brilliant as the light in your eyes.“ He holds his hand "I could search for a thousand years and would never be able to find anything that comes close to you.”
Happy Birthday Alfredo! [hands him a box with a cupcake inside]
Thanks dude! [hugs him] Did you make it? [He picks up the cupcake and takes a bite] Mmm!!! It’s awesome!
[smiles as wide as he can] No problem, dude! I don’t care how big or flashy something is. As long as my friends get me something, or just wish me a simple ‘Happy Birthday’, I’m happy!
You’re right, plus I don’t think anything can top that burger cake [chuckles]
*taps ur head with a wooden spoon* Y u so cute?
What’s with the tapping
I’m not cute
Happy Birthday Alfredo! [hands him a box with a cupcake inside]
Thanks dude! [hugs him] Did you make it? [He picks up the cupcake and takes a bite] Mmm!!! It’s awesome!
[pats him] Of course, I did. I’m sorry it’s not over the top like last year’s cake.
[ruffles his hair] Want to go to the ice cream parlor with me? My treat.
Do you even need to ask!? Of course I do! Three of my favourite things, all in one go - free food…ice cream…and you!
I actually can’t believe I’m still alive! It was just that bad. I couldn’t eat pasta for a whole day after that. The nightmares wouldn’t go away for months. [shudders]
Oh, grazie Lovi! If you had sent me there, I think it would’ve broken my heart.
Hmmm, I don’t know. I haven’t met many new people yet, but I’m sure I’ll be able to find someone who wants in - it’s a great idea, after all.
I don’t think anything like that has happened to me. [now he’s pondering over it] You know what there was this time, i had a bad fruit smoothie. I don’t think I left the toilet that night.
[pats his back] Don’t worry bro as long as it doesn’t affect your way of life I don’t see any need to send you away.
Best to make as many new friends as possible, I think you’ll do a better job at that than I could.
Antonio did as he was told, somewhat stumbling a few times in his footing. Walking blindly, in a way, was not of his forte but he’d continue on. He was sure he wouldn’t be forced to walk into a tree, unless that was the surprise all along.
Once he’d been told to open his eyes, he hesitated briefly. Another squeeze was given to Lovino’s palm, and a deep breath before he opened his eyes. The sight he saw was.. It was.. “..Dios–”
The picnic area was dimly lit by the street lights as well as a couple lamp post in the distance just a few feet away. On the blanket there were the various tupperware each one labelled with the food that was inside. Set with in the center were a couple larger candles as well as bucket of fruit juices. Lovino definitely took notice of the squeeze Antonio gave to his palm. He almost wanted to question it but decided against it.
He slipped from his hold and walked the rest of the way so he’d now be sitting upon the blanket. Taking a match box in hand to light up candles and possibly set the mood.
"Amor, you still haven't told me where we're going?"
A smile crossed Lovino’s features as he turned the key that was now in the ignition. “Well that’s for me to know and for you to find out.” He reached over to pinch his cheek before focusing his attention on the task at hand. It took a moment before Lovino returned having set up picnic area for them. He had scouted the area the week prior and just had an idea having a romantic night with Antonio especially now that curfew wasn’t a worry for them anymore.
He gazed back at the blanket with everything set out for them but of course with all the covers placed over them. He’d light the candle when he returned didn’t want the wind blowing it out. He stood in front of the passenger door taking a deep breath before open the door. “Do you trust me? If so please close your eyes and allow me to take you to special place.” He gazed up at the sky before extending his hand out to him.
The question had startled him, ripping him away from his thoughts. With his green eyes locked upon the hand extended to him, Antonio swung his legs around as to have it out of the car and placed his hand in his, standing up as he did so.
“I-” A pause. God. Why was he being so worked up over something so little? Perhaps the stress was simply getting to him. Giving Lovino’s hand a squeeze, he nodded, “Of course I do, amor,” then closed his eyes.
Lovino could feel that something was bothering the spaniard and only he was to blame for any tension or even added stress. He raised Antonio’s hand to his lips and placed a kiss upon the back of his hand.
“Keep them close and no peeking.” He spoke before leading he down the path. Kicking any loose branches away as they walked. With a huff he stopped just couple feet away from the picnic area he had worked on. “Alright open them.”
