How can you be sure though?! What if it’s a ghost that wants us to think its a draft just so we’ll let out guard down, and then it’ll eat us?! [stays hidden under the table, shaking]

Yeah true, gotta get me freedom back [train of thought drifting off topic] at least I didn’t come ‘ere before I was 21, I would of cried and th- oh right [pulls the address up on his phone] GO down to main street, take a left onto …. road and then we go straight for a fair few minutes [hehe straight]

[gives him a deadpan look] onto road? What road? [leans over to look at his phone] [nods when he’s got it memorized] That should take about...ten minutes. [turns on his radio before driving towards the house]

Just keep studying and you’ll get the hang of it. Maybe even watching me drive will help you! [rolls his eyes playfully] Sure, but next time don’t call me at three in the morning because you have a “poptart emergency.” Now, where are we going?

[chucks the sciencey stuff in the back and sits in the front seat ] [crosses arms huffing] I hate not being able to drive here. 

Hey! Be careful with that stuff! I don’t want it to go off and blow my car up!

[turns his car on] All you have to do is sit in a class, take the written test, and take the driving class, then you can drive here. [and hopefully go on ghost hunts by yourself] Why haven’t do done that yet?

AU: GHOSTBUSTER INFO

Name: Alfred F. Jones! Age: 23 Status: Alive

Bio: It’s no secret that ghost are a big problem in the world (I mean just look at Japan!). Some are nice, but others are cruel and use their abilities to harm humans. Some are wandering souls not knowing that they’re dead, or they have unfinished business.

Whatever the reason Alfred is there to solve the ghost problem and rescue the victims! He is a hero after all, which is why he joined the ghost hunters team.

Actually, he just wanted to impress his boyfriend, Kiku, and prove he’s not a scaredy cat.

The Coffee Shop

Nope. Nope, nope, nope. 

Kiku did not want to be here anymore. Now, he knew it was rude. This guy–who was apparently an old friend of his–was showing him some kind of, he supposed, affection. And it made sense. They hadn’t really met before until now, aside from the friendship they had online that was thanks to gaming but the contact was too much. A general hug may have been fine, but the fact this man hid his face to Kiku’s neck made him feel extremely anxious and unpleasant.

He was, of course, happy to finally meet him but– “Okay,” he answered quietly, taking a step away. Once this man, err–Alfred, had his back turned to him, then it was his cue to get out of there. He was a faster runner, after all. Quick and easy escape.

He smiled, “great!” He went to get his order. With a coffee in one hand, his left arm holding two of his muffins, and a muffin hanging from his mouth, he turned back to Kiku, except he wasn’t there, “Kiku?” His muffled voice called. He quickly looked around the shop, but didn’t see him. He looked to the front doors to see if he was waiting for him there, but he still wasn’t there.

He felt his heart break. His old time friend had just ditched him. He hung his head before heading to one of the tables to eat his breakfast. He bit into his first muffin. It was good, but the sadness filling his heart also filled his stomach. He put his muffin down and sighed. 

He screwed up big time.
