Repeat daily
5x Praised be the Gods.
4x Glory to the gods.
3x Oh gods, take my gratitude for everything you’ve gifted me.
2x gods, guide this beloved child of yours.
1x I pray to the almighty gods to make me a person they would be pleased with.
1x My gods, fix me before I leave this earth.
My entire existence is a love letter of the Gods.
Once upon a dream
How gentle must a God be to invite all of earth's children to walk with him once upon a dream? When Lord Hypnos takes our hand, singing soft lullabies to us, like a mother would with her children. When he is the one to invite us to midnight walks in his fields of poppies, petals so soft they promise rest. When our generous God of sleep ceases our worries, till he allows us to wake. When Lord Hypnos comes back to us till we leave this earth, again and again. The one who still cradles us in his arms, even when we think this world has abandoned us. Our all loving parent.
Praised be Lord Hypnos, the most loving out of the gods.
Children of Aphrodite and Hephaestus
What if the myths never told stories about their children or denied their existence because the answer was in us all along? If I remember correctly, we have the story of Pandora, the first woman. Hephaestus made her body out of the earth, and Aphrodite adorned her with beauty. Why not apply it more widely? Why not say that their marriage didn’t bring any children forward because they made us? Perhaps this is the meaning for the creation of their marriage in myth all along.
A myth before the soul enters Earth
“There, almost done!” Proclaimed the mother of beauty. The little soul watched her as laughter as holy as the tranquility of starlight echoed through the clouds. “You’ll like it, I’m sure of it.” The goddess assured them before she cast a look over her shoulder that made them pause. Perhaps the soul had been wrong. Perhaps the stars they could find in the sky had been in her eyes. Or perhaps their mother's eyes had been the endless beauty of the cosmos all along. “After all, you carry a part of me with you now.” Her glance now cast deep into the void of the sky. “-of us,“ Aphrodite added, and then smirked as if knowing something they didn’t. Or rather, something they would forget while chained in mortal flesh that she carefully weaved. “I’ve heard earth is different from the other realms,“ the soul voiced their thoughts. They knew they wouldn’t remember, as soon as blood would run through their veins, as if it were Lethe of the waters of Hades. “And?” The gentle voice of the love-rich mother asked them again. The soul had known that already, yes. But that’s why they came here, right? To lose oneself, the journey home and the deep-rooted self-love that would accrue. That kind of love they knew. Yet now they are mixed with the opportunity to learn and grow closer to themselves. “Will you be with me?” This time Aphrodite's smile brighten before she cupped the cheeks of the clay body. „My child, call out, and you shall receive my guiding hands above you. You shall never be truly alone in our world, this I vow. “Helios high above will greet you at days beginning before his sister takes over. If you don't see Selene, you’ll meet the stars, and if the stars don’t meet you, our king surely will.“ The soul looked immensely relieved that they could meet the gods anytime they needed in their journey. Aphrodite created the last strand of hair on their legs. “Remember, you belong to us gods, and to the gods you shall return by Hermes hand.”
