Thank you all

I'm having trouble finding the words to express my gratitude for those of you who sent me such kind messages throughout the day. My heart is full.   A simple THANK YOU will have to suffice. 

I am no longer a foster parent, you can just call me "Mom" now. 

With that being said, this will likely be my last post on Foster-Land. I'm so so so excited to begin the next phase of my life. 

I'll be checking my messages here for a few more days so please don't be afraid to ask for my new blog (which will be up and running soon!)  - 

Update: Still working on everything so I haven't sent the new url to anyone yet!

Family just left, Lion is napping.

Some facts about my new blog

- I still will not use Lion's real name to refer to him on the blog. I think I'll use his middle name.

I'm a mess today. The adoption attorney called me this morning to confirm the time for Lion's adoption tomorrow. I was in the middle of telling her how excited I am and I burst into tears. Tomorrow! Tomorrow! It's only a day away!

Lion's adorable adoption outfit has been purchased.

It's getting real.

Making dinner while sitting on the couch with both the boys watching Wild Kratts.

And by "making dinner" I mean I just ordered pizza from the most expensive local pizza place in town solely based on the fact that I can order online.

OMG

My aunts hired one of the best photographers in Maine to photograph Lion's adoption!!!!!

Northbound traffic (towards downtown Portland) is already a nightmare and it's not even lunchtime yet. Driving from Lion's daycare to work I spotted 5 Maine license plates out of the thousands of cars. 

Alright Tourists, let's hang out later - you can buy me a G&T for making me late for work.

Just a friendly Reminder

As of next week I will no longer be using this  blog... since I won't be a foster parent anymore, but just a regular ol'parent-parent!

I'm laying in bed listening to the rain and thunder. I cannot for the life of me remember if I closed the moon roof on my car and it's stressing me out. I don't want to get out of bed to check because 1. My car interior would be soaked anyway by now 2. Just watched a scary movie.
