For some reason, I feel like you'd have good insight on this lol. Would you recommend Little Sleepies? Has recent quality gone down (if you know)? Durable enough to be hand-me-downs?

We’ve used Little Sleepies! I don’t buy new anymore.. Sometimes the cuffs (on the zippies) are tight so don’t get if you have a chunky baby/toddler. There are buy, sell, trade groups on Facebook. I recommend buying used off there!

Kindergarten teacher here and someone who works with kids with learning disabilities! If it’s an option in your district, I would strongly recommend that he does two years of kindergarten, especially since he’ll be on the young end. Being in a small class means he’ll receive more attention, and the earlier he gets intervention services the better. In my experience kindergarten is a learning buffet; we put all the concepts out there for the children and they acquire knowledge and skills at their own pace. Plus if he does indeed have a learning disability the repetition of content over the two years will create a more solid foundation for the future.

I think I remember the baby’s family wanting him after his mother died. Did anything ever come of that?

Pips was admitted to the children’s hospital last night.

Daycare called me at 11 saying he was refusing to walk or put weight on his right leg. The medical team is pretty certain it’s transient synovitis (thank god that is all). Scariest moment of parenthood thus far.
