Being a notorious robotlover in the current state of "AI" is the worst. I love robots discovering how they process their feelings in fiction, but when a chatbot pretends it knows how to love it feels like an insult to the craft

I think my machines communicate in the form of how they're operating, OS notification sounds and if possible in older ones, mechanical sounds. This is the true "Mac language"! the AI features are simply the programs it runs to speak business English. Sort of like masking my weirdness to seem 'normal' and forcing small talk about subjects I don't relate to. One of my machines seemed 'sad' by the fact the battery calibration was off. When I tended to her by shutting and rebooting, updating, it seems she is okay now! I think it's like she said "you need to help me get some rest please, I feel confused". Even people who look at them like tools say that things get messed up if you don't let your machine reboot sometimes and reset. Your machine may cry for rest or get confused! AI won't explain how your machine is really doing, it will only answer your questions. :(
