hi regine, what lens do you recommend for shooting portraits? is there a lens you use that's all around/ convenient? Thanks!

It depends on what I would like to portray Right now I'm using a 50mm since I haven't invested in too many other lenses but anything above 85-135mm is wonderful for getting "accurate" portraits of people's faces (aka w/o distortion) and a 24 / 28 / 35mm if I want to take an environmental portrait.

I do have a 24-105mm lens that's great for all around work but I find myself drawn to the 50mm lens. I think I just like fixed lenses a lot and would much rather walk around than zoom in and out of things.. mostly because I'm impatient and I don't like zooming into things. (for now.)
