It's been quite a while since this blog has been active, but we are relaunching it!
In the interest of making a fresh start, we've decided to wipe the slate clean starting from six months back. So, if you submitted a request for a card before June of 2022 and still want to participate, we're asking you to submit a new request using our Google form. If you submitted your request during or after June of 2022, you should be getting your card within the next two weeks. Just make sure your submissions are open so you can receive it.
We've also brought in a new mod, Mod S, to help make sure we can keep up with the workload of running the bingo.
Thank you also to everyone else who sent in requests! Iâll let you know when Iâm ready to do another one!

âShh, Timmy, itâs okay. Iâm here.â Dick murmurs as Tim moans into his chest. âIâve got you. Itâs okay.â
Tim doesnât answer other than to whimper and dig his fingers into Dickâs side.Â
Dick tightens his hold on his little brother. âYouâre safe. Iâve got you.â he says even as he closes his eyes and lays his head back against the pillow. At least the screaming has stopped.Â
Itâs Dickâs fault Tim is like this. Nightwing and Robin had been patrolling together tonight while Bruce was grounded due to a badly sprained ankle from the previous night. Things had been going well until Scarecrow had decided to attack a movie theatre.Â
Nightwing and Robin had been able to stop the attack in the nick of time, managing to successfully evacuate the moviegoers before Scarecrow could fill the theatre with his gas. But then theyâd gotten separated, and while Nightwing was busy fighting off Scarecrows goons, Robin had ended up facing Scarecrow himself, and Nightwing had been too late to save him from getting a face full of fear gas.
âHey,â Bruce says, entering Timâs room in the Manor. âHowâs he doing?âÂ
âCalmer than before,â Dicks answers, keeping his voice low and gentle. âStill clinging to me for dear life, though.â
Dick had administered the antidote as soon as heâd been able to, but even with it, the effects of the fear gas always takes some time to wear off completely.
Bruce hums. âHe feels safe with you.â
Dick scoffs. âFat load of good that did him tonight.âÂ
Bruise arches an eyebrow at him, and Dick sighs.
âItâs my fault. I shouldnât have allowed us to get separated.â
Bruce hums again as he settles into the armchair beside Timâs bed.Â
Tim whimpers again, and Dick hushes him again.
âDo you blame me for every time we got separated in the field, and you ended up hurt because of it?â Bruce asks after Timâs settled somewhat again.
âNo,â Is Dickâs immediate answer, but then he sighs again. âDoes knowing that make you feel any less guilty?âÂ
Bruce snorts. âNo, I suppose it doesnât.â
They lapse into silence for a moment, listening to Timâs ragged breathing.
âIâm sorry,â Dick says after hushing another one of Timâs terrified whimpers.
Bruce shakes his head. âYou donât need to apologise, Dick. These things happen, but you both made it home alive. Thatâs what you need to focus on.â
Dick shakes his head. âNo - I mean, yeah I am trying to focus on that - but thatâs not what Iâm apologising for.â
Bruce frowns at him.
âI meant, Iâm sorry for every time I made you feel this way every time I got hurt while I was in the field with you as Robin. I get it now, and it sucks.â
Bruce gives him a wry smile. âIt does suck. But you donât need to apologise for that either. Just like I know you donât blame Tim for what happened to him tonight, Iâve never blamed you for getting hurt in the field.â
âEven when I got hurt because of my own stupidity?âÂ
Bruce gives an amused huff. âEven then.â
Tim stirs in Dickâs arms, lifting his head and blinking up at Dick with red-rimmed eyes.
âDick?â he asks in a hoarse, broken voice.
âHey, Timmy,â Dick says, relaxing at the awareness in the kidâs eyes. âThatâs right. Iâm right here.âÂ
âReal?â he asks.
Dickâs heart breaks at that question. He knows all too well how difficult it can be to discern reality from the nightmares.Â
âYeah, Tim. Iâm here. This is real.â he answers, squeezing Tim a bit tighter to emphasise his words.Â
Tension bleeds out of Timâs body, and he lets out a shuddering breath.
âBruce?â he asks after a moment.
âBruce is here too.â Dick assures him.
Bruce moves from the armchair to the side of Timâs bed and lays a hand on Timâs back. âIâm right here, son.â
Tim cranes his head around to see Bruce and then lets out another shuddering breath as his body starts to tremble, a sure sign that the gasâs effects are reaching their end. He turns his head back into Dickâs head and mumbles something.Â
Dick only catches the words âdeadâ and âalone.â The way Timâs voice breaks on the word âaloneâ makes Dick feel like heâs being stabbed in the chest. He presses a kiss into his brotherâs sweat-soaked hair.
âYouâre not alone, Timmy. Weâre both alive, and weâre here. Youâre not alone, I promise.â Dick swears, pouring as much conviction and assurance into his voice as he can.
Bruce considers them for a moment and then slips under the covers with them, sandwiching Tim between himself and Dick.Â
He throws his arms over the both of them and says: âWeâre both here, Tim. Youâre safe, son.â
Tim murmurs something again. Dick doesnât catch any of what he says that time, but at least he doesnât sound as devastated as he had before, and the trembling seems to lessen somewhat.Â
Dick presses another kiss into Timâs hair. âYou can rest now, Timmy. Bruce and I have got you, and weâll both be here when you wake up. Right, Bruce?â
âRight.â Bruce says.
Tim doesnât respond, but his breath does even out into a sleeping pattern pretty quickly after that.Â
Itâs only when Tim seems to be truly asleep that Dick feels his own exhaustion wash over him.Â
âGet some sleep, Dickie.â Bruce murmurs.Â
Dick smiles and with his family safe and with him, it doesnât take him very long to do just that.
Foundfam Bingo: Touch Starved (VLD, and either twinganes, broganes, or clone!Shiro with whoever. They all deserve it ;) )
@foundfamilybingo
I kinda sort of included this prompt in my fic a little bit!
@heymynameismollyjk also requested: Touch starved with pidge and Keith?
So here you go guys, hope you enjoy!Â
Thank you to everyone for sending me prompts! Keep an eye out for when I ask for one again!! :)
--
Pidge notices it in Shiro first.Â
In hindsight, itâs not surprising. Any touch he would have experienced in the last year would have been anything but good or comforting, so the way he flinches away from sudden touch is to be expected.
But then Pidge starts to notice little things - the slight reluctance in how he pulls out of hugs, and the way his shoulder touches and squeezes sometimes last a tad longer than normal. She keeps noticing these little moments until one day it hits her that Shiro is probably severely touch starved.
Matt once told Pidge that brains are like unshakable computers, which had prompted her to read a couple of psychology books out of curiosity (those books had told her that Matt was totally wrong and that brains can be hacked by the way) so she knows that touch starvation can lead to things like anxiety and depression. And, well. Shiro already has enough anxiety, he definitely doesnât need anymore.
Touch starvation is largely fixable, so Pidge makes it her mission to help Shiro. Itâs the least she can do after all heâd done to save her brother.
She enlists the others for help too, the more people that are involved, the better. (Sheâs so focused on Shiro that the look Keith gets on his face when she explains the problem doesnât really register in her mind.)
are you still sending out cards? if not, can I make my own card? I won't tag the event (or post on the AO3 collection), just use the prompts in a bingo format. I requested twice and no cards came, so I thought I could ask permission to use the prompts and the format. it's ok if I can't tho.
Yes! Oh gosh Iâm so sorry, I know this is like... the third time Iâve fallen way behind on getting these cards out, but Iâve been working like six days a week and am in grad school so sometimes things just slip my mind! Messages like this really help keep me on track, though you shouldnât need to poke me to get cards youâve requested, so I apologize for that. Iâll get on them likely tomorrow afternoon, so if you donât see your card by Friday, shoot me another message and Iâll see whatâs going on!
Christmas morning 2011 isnât unlike the ones of Nateâs boyhood, it only has more whiskey. Sam would be 13. What would holidays, or life, be like with a 13 year old? No cons, no justice. Would Sam still wake up before 5, jumping into his and Maggieâs bedâ
The door, which should be locked, opens. âMarry Christmas! Where is everyone?â
âParker, we agreed no earlier then 10.â
âYou didnât think thatâd actually work.â She sits on the stool next to his, and he realizes sheâs wearing a pink Santa hat and the ugliest sweater heâs ever seen. Not a good sign, but itâs Christmas, time for a break.
âHappy Secret Santa.â Parker hands him a small wrapped box, he stands, walks behind the bar and drops it under the counter for later. She looks⊠hurt, genuinely.
Thankfully, he left the gift for her in a similar place. He holds out a stuffed polar bear wearing all black, complete with a little beanie, and doesnât look at her face when she gasps, snatches it. He walks away.Â
âWait.â He does. âI thought Hardison was my Secret Santa. He gave me a present last night."Â
if I request/start to fill a card with a URL and change it, I need to warn you?
Give us a shout if you change your URL so we can keep track of things on our end (whose cards have gone out already, who marked which answer to whether their fills can be reblogged, etc), but go right on ahead and change it!Â
Alrighty that should be everybody! Cards are all sent out, unless there was an issue with the blog linked in the google form. If you didn't recieve your card feel free to reach out or submit a new request. Thanks, and enjoy your cards everybody!
Hi! I realize this blog has been dead for a few months but I sent in a request on July 19th and haven't received a card. I don't have tumblr (so I opted to receive it via email). If I (or anyone who doesn't have tumblr) need to follow up after not receiving a card, is there an email address or anything for contact that would be easier than anon tumblr asks?
Youâre absolutely right that this blog has been dead for a few months - and thatâs mostly on me, my co-mod has been dealing with serious health issues, Iâve just, yâknow, dropped the ball amidst the rest of my pandemic juggling - but itâs on my agenda tonight to start getting caught up! So keep an eye on your inbox, you should get that in the next day or two, and if you donât please feel free to reach back out.Â
As for other folks who may be wondering the same question, you should expect the same! If it reaches August 1st and you havenât received a card, itâs safe to assume there was an issue delivering it (your submit box wasnât open/couldnât be located or your initial request didnât go through, etc), and in that case please feel free to submit a new request and Iâll get right on it.Â
I saw you answered a previous ask about siblings separated as toddlers, but what about cousins? (Actually, can any relatives that didn't grow up together be considered found family?)
This is just fine!! Feel free to roll with that, we feel it fulfills the spirit of the challenge.Â
do we have to post the stuff we write? if we keep it private (not posting online) does the prompt still count as filled?
Youâre welcome to do whatever you like with your prompts, posting-wise. Weâre operating on a sort of honor system. If youâve gotten a bingo on your card, posted or not, youâre welcome to count as having completed a bingo and request a new card if you so wish!!Â
Greetings everybody!! Sorry weâve been kind of MIA lately, we fell a little behind on cards and answering questions and then everything got really intense what with covid and everything. At any rate! I plan to go through tonight and answer any questions in the inbox and get cards out to those who have requested them. If you remember requesting a card but not receiving one, please feel free to reach out, and I can either confirm that yours is on the way or that we didnât receive the submission! Again, so sorry for the unintentional hiatus and excited to be back!
âPlatonic cuddlingâ fill for the Found Family Bingo, Flynn&Jiya+Rufus, itâs set in the middle of this other fic, so maybe you should check that out for context.

He was so quick to flee, his body panicking for air that had been sucked out of the room by Lucyâs words, that he only realizes that he has gotten out when the chilly air hits him in the face and the door closes behind him.
There isnât much to do besides following his legsâ instinct to carry him away from there, away from â away from Lucy, which is the very last thing he thought heâd ever want. Lucy was always his lighthouse, his beacon of hope even in the darkest of times, she â she is not someone he is supposed to need to escape from.
They are only words, he tries to remind himself. She only said a few words, there is no need to â hell, he did so much worse to her. She still sleeps soundly beside him every night, does she not?
But then again, she was always better and stronger than he could ever hope to be.
He hates fighting with her. He hates the way he gets when they fight, how his ugliness starts creeping out when the only thing that he can see is how much of a danger the world poses to his girls, but â but how can he ignore it? He allowed himself that luxury once already and â
Lucyâs words cut through his head once again, cold and unforgiving, reminding him of what happened to the last child unlucky enough to call him her father. He knows that what happened is on him, that he might not have pulled the trigger but Iris and Lorena died as a direct result of his actions. He has never stopped shouldering the blame for what he did.
He doesnât know why it hurts so much to hear Lucy agree.

The prompt âBedside Vigilsâ for my @foundfamilybingoâ card!
Apologies - accidentally deleted an ask asking if we were still open and doing the challenge instead of answering it (this is why we donât answer asks on mobile!! sorry about that!), and yes! We are still open and operating we just didnât get any fills posted for a while - or we werenât tagged or alerted if they were - and ive been admittedly pretty behind getting cards out. Tonight Iâm devoting to blog maintenance though, so Iâll be double checking we didnât miss any fill fics, answering any missed asks, and getting all requested cards out! If tonight passes and you still havenât recieved a card please reach out to us, it may be that we just missed it or that your submit box wasnât available to send it to. Thanks!!

Finally getting around to filling out my Found Family bingo card
@foundfamilybingo
This is a story for my OC's, Watson, Alex, and Kieran. Some context:
Kieran is the son of the god of the universe, Cyrus. Cyrus was emotionally and physically abusive so Kieran ran away and decided to go live in Earth so he could create havoc there. Watson (who is actually Cyrus' son as well, but him and Kieran are unaware that they're related so it still counts as found family) is the god of the Milky Way, so he doesn't appreciate someone creating chaos on one of his planets. However, he sees that this person is just a troubled teen that desperately needs love, so he takes him in and let's Kieran stay with him and his significant other, Alex.
TW: Panic attack and references to past parental abuse.
