Mobile Police Patlabor (1988)
Artwork of Kanuka Clancy created for the VHS and laserdisc versions of the second (numbered P-2) "Patlabor on Television" / "New OVA Series" video release, VAP/Bandai Visual, December 1990. The video release contains the TV series episodes 4 to 6 plus the "New OVA Series" episode "A Bad Day". The "P" designation in the numbering system means "Perfect", as each volume contains three TV series episodes plus a "New OVA Series" episode. The OVA episode was also released by itself on VHS, designated "S-2", with "S" referring to "Standard" release. The "Standard" release VHS tapes had different artwork to the "Perfect" release VHS and laserdiscs.
The above character artwork is by Masami Yuki with the Labor artwork by Yoshinori Sayama. Image scanned from my personal collection.
i drew this in response to a specific thing, but i think it's applicable enough in a general sense
Aliens bodies are probably different as hell. Or similar
