Hybrids and Monsters in Gods
Monstrosity, often in the form of alterations to the mouth and teeth, is a result of trauma during the development of godlings. The abnormal traits the god begins to exhibit are typically a response to the form of trauma that was inflicted onto them. These traits are most easily seen in the animal form though may be present in humanoid forms as well.
The hybridization of animal forms is often an indicator of a war god that can be spotted before godhood is reached. More often than not these hybrids will be two predators, with one typically being a canid.
Monsters without Hybridization:
(Eurasian Wolf)
A vicious number of teeth crammed into a single giant mouth, Fenrir was equipped with a built in weapon. In addition, he grew more than twice the size of an average Eurasian wolf, dwarfing the animal and humanoid forms of many other gods.
(Fenrir's oldest daughter takes after him and his monstrous traits.)

Aside from the abnormally large size, Nari's dentition has been drastically altered by his monstrosity, leaving him with acidic "venom" where there otherwise wouldn't be any. If he weren't already tied to snakes, some of these changes would come across more unusual than they do to those around him.

With eight legs, Vali's strength and speed has been aggressively promoted, fitting to the standards pushed over him since early childhood.

A mild case of monstrosity, Thanatos has an eye at the nape of his neck that is able to cover what blind spots he has while on the surface or in the heavens, tending to keep close watch over the skies but remaining closed while in the underworld.

Tyr did not exhibit the precursor of hybridization before reaching godhood, in fact he didn't exhibit it until well after losing his hand and taking on a (temporary) pacifistic role.
This later transitions to a Karelian Bear Dog/Ural Owl blend.

The Sha's lateral line splits open to the shoulder, with far too many teeth and very little supporting anatomy, though there are half formed ribs in the neck vertebrae. Fully opening his mouth is made a particularly dangerous feat that also exposes the sensitive occupants of the throat. The partially formed ribs act as teeth as well as being able to spread open like a cobra.

Ammit is a form blended together from the tesem, an ancient breed of hunting hound, and a Nile crocodile, she takes on the size of the crocodile but the general silhouette of the tesem. Her head tends to stay in line with her shoulders and tail as the upward flexibility of her spine was reduced when given the addition of crocodilian features. She is required to use her tail to turn, swinging it like a counterweight that allows her to turn on a dime but forces her to lose momentum with each turn.
The five jaws of Ammit move independently though often remain closed until confronted with a threat, in which event Ammit has been known to death roll.
