Fox was checking for any voice messages on his scroll, before he raised an eyebrow at the sudden requested, turning his head to the source of the slighly awkward voice, quickly recognizing it as his teammate, Velvet. It had been a long day of training between him and Yatsuashi, so he guessed that sometime away from their dormitory could do him some good. Even the giant warrior was currently out with Coco to help her in another shopping trip. “Hm.. yeah, sure Velv.. as long as you make sure I don’t trip on anything.” He stepped closer to the bunny faunus, sending a small grin in her way when he said that. Those words came out in a more playful tone since, due to his sharp senses and helpful semblance, the need to have someone escort him would be next to none, but, it gave him an excuse to tease his teammate a bit.

Velvet glances up at him once more before chuckling sheepishly, rubbing her arm. “No, i-it’s fine, really. I try to ignore it.” She responds. She didn’t like to talk about her problems, preferred to deal with them alone. She’s quiet then until they reach the courtyard, which is when she speaks up again softly. “You know… You were the first person not to judge me. You’ve always treated me the same as everyone else. You didn’t even know I was a faunus until I finally told you… It’s… Nice, in a way.”

Fox couldn't help himself, ending up biting his bottom lip to stop his smile from showing too much at her kind words. He didn't know how or why, but whenever he was with Velvet, the energy around her always managed to put him in an extremely good mood, something he was really needing that day. "Well.. like I said in that day you told me.. It doesn't matter to me what you are, I would never treat you differently because you're faunus, you're my teammate, my.. close friend.." He coughed a bit with his last words, before raising his hand to gently pet the top of her head, careful not to touch her faunus ears. "Hell, I'm the one who's supposed to be thankful for you. You never understimated me.. in combat or not, or though less of me because of my disability. That I apreciate a lot Velv."

Fox knew that tone of her voice all too well. So it hadn't been just his impression, something has been really bothering her lately. There were only a few things that could really upset the faunus like this.. although he knew that his teammate could be a bit closed when it came to her problems.. "Is that so?... Then if there's something I can do to take care of what's distracting you, just say." He responded with a smile that held little bit of unnoticeable rage behind it. It was safe to say that he didn't forgive whoever messed with friends, especially Velvet.

“Really?” She blinks, looking up at him as he speaks. She couldn’t imagine what it was like for him, training to be a huntsman whilst being blind. It had taken a while to get used to having a blind person on the team, but Velvet had always been patient and considerate. “Oh… Yeah, I’ve been working on it.” She smiles, rubbing her arm sheepishly. “I can’t just rely on my semblance all the time, you know?”

Fox nodded at her, a playful expression present on his features. Being blind never really interfered in his quest to become a huntsman, since he was already too used to it when he started training. Especially when it came to fighting. However his teammates knew him all too well, they knew how to exploit his weak points, something he personally told them to do ever since they started as first years. He would've hated if they ever held back because of his sight. "What about you? I hope school work isn't tiring you out too much Velv."

Velvet catches onto the suggestive tone, and she couldn’t help the blush on her cheeks. She was just glad he couldn’t see it. She laughs sheepishly. “Y-Yeah, it has. I thought it could be nice, since we don’t really have anything else to do…” She didn’t need to explain herself, but she did anyway. Smiling faintly, she steps out of the dorm and waits for him to follow before speaking again. “So… How have you been?”

Fox walked up calmly to his teammate's side, closing the door of their dorm behind him, before walking towards the courtyard side by side with her. He shrugged his shoulders in response to her question, his expression turning into a more thoughful one. "Hm.. I've been fine I guess, but training has been kind of exhausting lately, I feel like the rest of my senses are always going haywire.. Especially with Yatsu, he always manages to throw me off balance somehow.." He ran a hand through his crimson hair, letting out a quiet sigh as he remembered the last few training sessions. "Also I noticed that you've been improving lately in hand to hand combat, even without using your semblance.." He turned his head slighly in her direction with a small smirk, hoping that he was looking at her eyes.

Rabbit ears perk up happily as he agrees to her offer, and she smiles. It had been a while since it was just the two of them, so she thought it would be nice to spend some time together whilst the other two were out. “Great! I–” She pauses upon hearing his comment about tripping, then looks up at him and crosses her arms as her smile returns. “Heeey… You know I would never let you trip!” She retorts, chuckling softly before she quietens down a bit, rubbing her arm. “So… I was thinking we could just- take a walk around the courtyard? Talk about things?”

Fox quickly nodded in agreement to her suggestion, wondering if she might have something especial that she wanted to talk to him about. He decided not to dwell on that matter for too long, simply putting his scroll back in his pocket, before getting up and opening the door of the dorm for them. "Let's go then, it's also been a quite a while since we last hanged out, just the two of us." His voice was slighly suggestive at the end, trying to get some sort of reaction from his teammate. But it was not lie. Their team, CVFY, was one of the best in the whole Beacon Academy, so it wasn't suprising that their schedule was busy most of the time, whether it was with missions and school work, or with training. Today was an exception however. Since some of their classes had been cancelled they were able to start and finish their training a lot earlier then usual, so their evening was completly free to do whatever they felt like, and walking with the bunny faunus seemed like the perfect opportunity to spend it. "It's better if we go now, before it gets dark that is.." He tried his best to hide the eargerness in his tone, but it was slighly difficult.

I think that the first day that Fox met his teammated it was probably really awlward because he must've asked to "see how they look like" by touching their face and becoming familiar with them. I feel like Coco and Yatsu were probably fine with it but Velv probably got too embarrassed at first but ended up doing it, even Fox probably asked "Do you have a fever?" while doing it..
