Recently completed art journal page. I made the background several months ago, but couldn’t ever figure out what should be on the background until this weekend.

Created the background from an envelope that was made from an old map. It’s been so long I’m not completely sure of the layers, but I think I applied clear gesso next, then blue and green watercolors. I wiped away a lot of the watercolor after it dried. The letters are from stencils - first I used a black Sharpie, then sparkly blue and green Gelly Roll pens.
