Family: Lee Deucalion (father), Gong Inchandescent (father; carried), Aquarius (younger brother).
Personality: Opal is a very blunt young woman, and has been blunt since she learned to talk. She doesnât believe in softening the truth, content to tell things how they are, regardless of how it makes the people listening to her feel. She is very temperamental, easily provoked and easily led into fights, though she never enters a fight (physical or verbal) that she thinks she canât win. However, she is also very intelligent, loyal to her friends to a fault, and highly, highly protective. She may take a long time to warm up to you, but once she has she will protect you to her last breath.
Good at: Opalâs main talents lie in her fighting abilities. She is very in tune with her Soraka heritage, and while Sorakas are both rare and usually thought of as support fighters, she uses that to her advantage. Few - if any - are willing to face her in one on one combat situations. Off the Rift, sheâs still a good fighter, as sheâs taken Taekwondo since early in life. She also excels (oddly enough) in math and science. Her other talents involve eating a lot (thanks, papa) and singing.
Fair with: Opal is decent at her healing, but she lacks the focus (....and desire) to really truly practice at it until sheâs a really good healer.
Horrible with: Opal is pretty terrible at making new friends. It takes her a long time to connect to people in a meaningful way, and until she has that meaningful connection she sees no reason to pay people attention. She also has next to no impulse control, leading to many expensive incidents throughout her childhood and teenage years.
In Depth History:
A year before Opal was born, the ghost of Simsâ fled his killer Shinwooâs spirit-realm-reaching rage and latched onto Chan as a powerful healer, though Chanâs unconscious spiritual strength and alien nature prevented him from possessing the Soraka. When Opal was conceived, the ghost moved to her instead, sensing a magic nearly as powerful as her fathersâ combined.
Opalescent was born a few months after Jaewoo, the second child born in her fathersâ group of friends, and as her fathers were both generally happy, amiable people she was expected to be a good noona/unnie to any who followed. What Chan and Deul got, instead, turned out to be a bit of a bad example.
A rambunctious, temperamental and slightly destructive child, she was always the sort to accidentally hurt friends and semi-accidentally break their toys. She spent a lot of time in the thinking chair, though Chan (her favored appa) always took mercy on her (he remembered his own somewhat wild childhood) more than Deul. Still, there were many toys in her closet and her friendsâ closets that had horn holes or hoof marks. These damages were always blamed on Mr. Lamp, her imaginary friend.
No one really ever made the connection. Â
Despite her character flaws, she was still loved by the two-years-younger-than-her Lee Jooyoung and a neighborhood girl, Haru. She protected them from bullies (real and imagined), and doted on them, much as her fathers had hoped she would for all children she came into contact with. That was not the case however, especially not with poor little Cha Minkyu, the Yordle boy who was madly in love with her from first sight.
She went to school, made.......okay, had a hard time making new friends, but there were a few. Cha Jaewoo, who holds her undying loyalty since he never once ratted her out for destroying his toys (though she was caught anyways). Lee Jisol, despite their age differences. Haru. Jooyoung. Minkyu (at times). Never Moon Moonbin (whom she teased mercilessly as Moonmoon), nor Lee Juwon (whose constant mischief making clashed with her own, despite the fact that he was her beloved Jooyoungâs frequent partner in crime.)
As she grew more busy with school and electives (singing class! taekwondo!! trips to the rift!!!) she mentioned Mr. Lamp less and less, and by the time she was ten he was nothing more than a distant memory, relegated to the box of kindergarten work her dads saved. Her focus improved, her outbursts diminished a bit, and people around her breathed a sigh of relief...
And then puberty hit. Mood swings, hormones and a temper like hers did not mix well with her Soraka-Lulu hybrid powers. If Chan and Deul had thought her younger fits were bad, her teenage years were a thousand times worse. Her teachers, striving to save their school, perhaps, advised that in addition to taekwondo she be placed in a special early-entry Rift training.
The work there, the challenges, tamed her somewhat, but also made her even better at getting to bullies, enemies, and just people in her way. But her friends stuck with her through it, patient and steadfast and loyal, and when she finally calmed down and graduated, it was with a job waiting for her on the Rift.
Minkyu continued to be a point of contention, her constant adoring shadow, and as time went on (much to her horror) she began to find herself softening towards the boy who had only had eyes for her his entire life. Jooyoungâs urging, however, just made her more stubborn to not give him the time of day.
It was only after he publicly confessed - loudly, to an entire cafe - what everyone already knew (.....and she smacked him in the head with a cake) that she finally may have reached a turning point.

Family: Mother, three older brothers, one younger half sister, father (Jong-Su; deceased), stepfather, three uncles, two aunts, ten cousins, one sister in law, two nephews.
Personality: Seongmin can best be described as a very nice guy who is very repressed. His childhood left him standoff-ish, insecure and awkward, while his own nature has left him protective and very hard working: heâs determined to show his best face, no matter how hard it is. He is also very easily distracted, though not for the reasons most people think.
Good at: His build and face are usually the first things people notice and physically he is pretty intimidating - tall and broad shouldered, with a perpetually serious expression. As such, sometimes people do things for him just so heâll stop looming over them. He is excellent at cooking, since itâs his goal in life to become a chef and since his mother often left him to fend for himself. Heâs also good at telling stories that he makes up on the fly - ghost stories, adventure stories and bedtime stories are his favorite.
Fair with: A Support Thresh for all his terrifying appearance, Seongmin taught himself first aid, mostly since he has no healing abilities. Heâs got a level head in emergencies, and a surprisingly gentle attitude. Heâs also okay at rapping, though heâd be terrified to perform in front of an audience.
Horrible with: he doesnât have much experience with friendships and he tends to worry, a lot, about whether the people he likes actually like him in return or if theyâre just too scared to tell him to leave. He is easily distracted becase there are actually a lot of ghosts around Seoulâs Rift, and they all tend to want to talk to him once they realize he can see them. Heâs also very, very bad at hanging out with large groups that tend to talk all at once - heâs easily overwhelmed and has to excuse himself to reorganize his thoughts.
In Depth History
Seongmin was born seven months after his father and his fatherâs friends were killed by Shinwoo. Heâs always, from the time he was a baby, known that that the sweet, gentle neighborhood baker technically murdered six others in a (certainly justifiable) demonic rage...
Heâs always known, because the first time he got a cookie from their shop - a day Lee-Gong Opal and her dads were in, a day Mr. Shinwoo politely asked his rude older brother to leave - his dadâs ghost told him.
He had a cold childhood, even without the ghosts he could see since birth. Thresh beliefs donât generally involve much affection, many hugs or happiness, joy or laughter. And with his older brothers so much older, and his mother stressed from working and from raising them alone, he often envied kids with large groups of friends. He wanted to BE friends but his momâs strict rules meant he had to come home right after school. He learned to cook for himself because often she would be at work when he got home... which soon turned to cooking for cousins and brothers as well. This, at least, was a form of affection others in his life would accept.
And, despite the horror stories that his mom and brothers told, he wanted to be friends with Cha Jaewoo and the rambunctious ahri sextuplets...and even Opal, though he didnât like to be near her much because of his dadâs ghost. After all, his dadâs ghost wasnât the only one following that group around. Jaewooâs auntie follows Jaewoo around sometimes, and from her he knows the whole story. His father wasnât a noble fighter killed before his time - he was a murderous rapist who deserved what had happened to him. It was a concept that was way too mature for a kid his age, but ghosts really donât have an idea of age-appropriate information and heâs been afraid to date his whole life in case he turns out like his dad.
he was twelve and his older brothers had moved out when his mom remarried. instead of making life easier, it made it worse. His dad was very much a traditional Thresh, expecting Seongmin to fight and to gather souls and to not care about making friends. Seongmin got used to getting hit when he hesitated, when he answered wrong, when his stepdad just felt like it. His only real happiness came from cooking for his new baby sister when she arrived and telling her stories.
High school was pretty horrible. His concentration was bad, his grades were bad, he told himself it was okay because cooking didnât require a big, important school. His stepdad hit him more, told him it was okay because the rift didnât require big, important schools. He agreed meekly, just to get his stepdad to shut up, and went back to cooking.
He still watches people from afar, and the oldest Ahri makes his heart ache, but he doesnât know how to approach them, for fear of even worse heartache.

Personality: Jinwoo is cheerful to a fault, almost always happy and if heâs not truly happy he still fakes it, hating to have people worry about him. He throws himself into new experiences enthusiastically, wanting to learn and do new things. He loves to make people laugh, dancing and singing silly songs or telling jokes heâs often made on the spot. On the negative side, he is very much a people-pleaser, and if he fails to make people happy he takes it personally. He is very clingy with the people he loves, and sometimes worries that heâs overly enthusiastic, overbearing or smothering. He also thinks heâs less attractive than his siblings, which leaves him slightly insecure in situations where they all have to dress up and look nice.
Good at: As the most genial of the six siblings, Jinwoo is good at mediating arguments, playing the peacemaker between more volatile and competitive personalities. Heâs generally a happy kid, and he makes friends easily. In school, his best subjects are Korean, creative writing and history, while his best working skills are in customer service.
Fair with: Unlike some, his Rift skills are passing at best. Heâs not a huge fan of fighting, but he can hold his own, at least. Heâs also decent (but not stellar) in the rest of his school subjects (barring math).
Horrible with: Jinwoo is very bad at math, and usually has to get Jisolâs help with his homework. Heâs not good at dealing with large disagreements within his friendsâ group, getting stressed when he canât patch things over in a few words. When heâs upset, he tends to internalize whatâs wrong, and needs verbally dragged out of dwelling on his own insecurities.
In Depth History: Though he was born fourth of the six children Joon and Jinyoung had, he was Cha Jaewooâs baby from day one, the baby Jaewoo was allowed to name. As such, heâs spend most of his life as Jinyoungâs unspoken favorite child.
A gentle, curious kid, he didnât really talk much until he was five, thanks to Jaewoo, who knew what he wanted without him needing to talk, and who was quite content to translate for him. However, when he was five he started talking and people have been hard pressed to get him to shut up since then.
Born towards the middle of the group, heâs always been the peacekeeper among his siblings, always willing to make a fool of himself to get them laughing and (more importantly) stop talking. Taken as he was with Jaewoo, he rarely got in trouble. Unlike Joonho (who was wild) and Juwon and Jooyoung (who thrived on mischief), his biggest childhood mishap involved getting in the way of an angry Opal and getting knocked down a (short) flight of stairs, leaving him with a light scar through his left eyebrow.
Once the teenage years (....and puberty) hit, Jinyoung worried about him for different reasons than his siblings. While the others were off flirting and having their Typical Ahri Flings, Jinwoo didnât once seem to look at anyone. What Jinyoung didnât quite realize was, yeah, he was looking at someone. It just wasnât noticeable, since it was the same someone heâd been looking at his entire life: Jaewoo.
It started when he was 14 - the physical changes came slowly, but Jinwoo found sitting in his hyungâs lap made him feel different. Made him want things - frustrating things, since his beloved older hyung thought too much of his family to be willing to make the first move. Jinwoo spent many, many nights of unrequited want, up until the summer they were all 15, when Juwon got them all in trouble and split up to other cities.
During his internship in Busan, he got taller, broader, stronger. He enjoyed working with other people, learning about Joonâs company. He still texted his hyung, daily, but didnât really have time for video chats and, well, thereâs not really a good sense of perspective in a selca...
When he returned to Seoul, he was surprised by how much bigger he was than Jaewoo. How much smaller and more vulnerable his beloved hyung seemed - and abruptly, instantly realized that while he still really, really wanted to be with Jaewoo....maybe heâd had how wrong all the time.
The next year was frustrating, but in a good way. He didnât want to chase his hyung, though there were lots, and lots, and lots of hints, until he finally got the message with the dawn of the new year and realized hints werenât working, so he flat out told Jaewoo he was in love with him, and likely always had been.
Theyâve been happily dating ever since.

Family: Joon (father), Jinyoung (father, carried), Jisol (brother), Jihoon (brother), Joonho (brother), Juwon (brother), Jooyoung (sister, favorite sibling), grandmother, three aunts (heâs the apple of their eye).
Personality: Jinyoung and Joon did their best and continue to do their best, but the word that sums Juwon up the most is brat. Heâs lazy, preferring to let others do all the hard work while heâll swoop in at the end and flirt to claim all the glory. Heâs hot tempered and quick to throw fits, and impulsive, quick to make decisions that he should really, really think through. Heâs also incredibly manipulative, using his innate sensuality and sex appeal to get what he wants, be it free food or homework done for him. He is fiercely loyal to his family, however, and his attitude around them is more mischievous than mean and catty, though he and Jisol often clash over schoolwork and (currently) their mutual crush Aqua.
Good at: Juwon and Jooyoung are the most Ahri-like of the Lee-Jung children. Heâs very in-tune with his nature, which...means heâs pretty darn awesome at sex, both at figuring out the ways to bring himself the most pleasure and making sure he does the same for his partner(s). Heâs also excellent at basketball, his favorite sport, motorcycle racing (his second favorite sport), fashion and - a skill he learned purely at his fathersâ insistence - video editing.
Fair with: Itâs tough work juggling ten different former lovers without them hating you and/or each other, but Juwon....somehow manages. Heâs a fairly decent negotiator.
Horrible with: Juwon is physically and mentally incapable of caring less about school. He squeaks by with the bare minimum to pass, and usually only accomplishes that by manipulating others into doing his homework and assignments for him. Heâs also bad at empathy, finding it difficult to sympathize with people or animals outside his immediate circle of family and friends. Heâs terrible at basically anything artistic outside the realm of fashion and, well. Discretion is not a word in his vocabulary, much to his fathersâ chagrin.
In Depth History
Joon and Jinyoung have tried their best to raise their kids outside of the stereotypical hedonistic Ahri norms of do anything and get away with it because youâre cute and manipulative, and for the most part, theyâve succeeded...except, perhaps, with their two youngest.
From the get-go, Juwon was a troublemaker - from pulling siblingsâ tails, putting gum in other kidsâ hair, to pocketing candy at the convenience stores despite the fact that he could definitely pay for it, Juwon did it all. It didnât help that Jinyoungâs cold, mean mother - a famed matriarch in the Ahri clans - preferred him and Jooyoung over the rest of the kids (much to Jinwooâs constant hurt feelings) and spoiled them whenever she had a chance.
He was trouble all through kindergarten, elementary and the first half of middle school...and then he and the others hit 14.
Puberty usually comes with mood swings and acne.
For Ahris, it comes with almost instant irresistible beauty and an insatiable sex drive. They all dealt with it in their own ways, suffering lectures from teachers and (embarrassingly) Jinyoung. After all, Ahris collect soul energy through any kind of sex. Collecting too much could result in death - either of the Ahris, or of their partners or, in some grim situations, both. Some of the siblings may have absorbed it all correctly, but most of it went in one ear and out the other for Juwon...
Juwon, who seduced his personal driver/bodyguard into taking his virginity in the backseat of his car. Juwon, who proceeded to have a different fling every night of the week. Juwon, who eventually got so into it that he was leaking the residual energy to the point of setting things on fire unconsciously. Â
Worried of the influence the sextuplets might be having on each other, Jinyoung and Joon reluctantly made the decision to split them up and send them on summer internships where they would be too busy to run amuck and, theoretically, too tired to chase suitors as often. Juwon sulked as his siblings got to go cool places like Jeju or Busan or Tokyo while he stayed in Seoul, tasked to work in the advertising department at Joonâs company, learning video editing which....yawn. Boring?
Until his internship was done and he found out that one of his (.....many) objects of affection (one who was already in his friendsâ circle!!) wanted help editing his mukbang...
He continued to have flings, but no where near as often, and found he actually enjoyed hanging out with Aqua and just talking about stuff. Helping him edit his videos and clear up the sound and learn about the stuff his hyung found enjoyable. Soon, he started having odd feelings. Different than the usual âhow fast can the two of us get our clothes offâ feelings.
Feelings like he actually cared....
It was scary and new and slowly but surely the other flings kinda....petered out, a fact that his siblings have noticed (and perhaps have been a little alarmed by...especially Jisol, who has made the connection to the hyung he likes.....)
His typical approach has failed so far, but heâs vowed to make it obvious this birthday. Now, hopefully, Aqua will at least notice that.
