Project completed

My project has been completed and submitted today. Overall I feel the process went well as I was able to answers all the questions and tasks raised within the assignment which was extremely beneficial. When evaluating the process as a whole I feel the project was a huge success because I was able to fulfil my goal which was to make a solution that resolved the issues raised within my brief.

So far, I have managed to print out sections 3-5 except M4 and P10 from section 5.

Section 5-Project Presentation and Evaluation- Completed

Section 5 of my project has now been completed for which i presented my final work, produced a report, made a well structured file showing the various stages i went through and finally critically evaluating the project as a whole.

Overall i feel this section has gone well and this was mainly down to the case of my final solution solving the engieering problem that was raised in my project brief. Their was some areas which i struggled with initially however i was able to overcome these and produce high quality work.

P10 completed

I have completed the P10 criteria which was to produce a report of all the tasks which involves researching, CAD drawings and evaluation. Now I have completed every criterion in this project. I did have a few difficulties with this criteria. One of the topics included the Appendix which i did not know how to write so I deleted that section. Another difficulty I had was deciding the topics that I should include. There were a few topics which I left out such as legislations and standards. I feel there was not a lot to wirte about it.

Section 5-Project Presentation and Evaluation- P10- Project Report- Completed

I have completed the production of my project report. This document outlines the various aspects of what i went through in order to produce my final solution. Throughout the report, i have provided valuable information from the initial research to the component drawings & specifications and finally my conclusion. When evalauting P10 i feel it is of a high standard and is easily read.

Section 5 Project Evaluation Final Updates D2

The D2 was the most longest and most Comprehensive piece of work that was required to be done in the project. It asked for a thorough and in depth evaluation of the entire Project. This was very difficult part of the project as it asked you to recall some aspects from very early on in the year.

As well as this, it was also difficult as it asked for me to very critical (what could of gone better) of what I did in my Project. I also had the opportunity to Praise some elements of my work and the techniques used. Despite this, i managed to generate a significant amount of words for my D2 and critically evaluate my work.

It was not without difficulty however. I felt there was a lot to talk and about and cover in thus question, and at times it felt like there was too much to cover. I also found myself revisiting and rereading the question over and over just to make sure I was answering the question correctly and that I was on the right track. They were also moments where i felt I was repeating myself in parts. Overall i Felt this went well.

Section 5 Project Evaluation Final Updates P10

I have completed my projects P10, and so my Project report has been completed.

This was a very comprehensive and detailed report of my project and it tasked me to include and talk about everything we had done in the Project. This meant i had to revisit every aspect of my work that I had been doing during the year. However, it was not as difficult as it sounds, as I was going over Familiar content again and talking about it. It was a lot more straight forward then I had originally anticipated and it did feel that it was quite easy to do.

One difficulty I had encountered was missing out some key elements from my report than having to go back and add them in. I also had some brief difficulty with the Referencing system.

P10 Commenced

Today, I am starting on the P10 criteria which is to produce a written project report. It will cover all of the tasks I have been doing through the project.

Section 4 Project M3 - Evaluate the project solution and suggest improvements.

Introduction

I am going to discuss about in M3 evaluation on the project solution and suggestion improvement about my Pedal Kart from my point of view as well from my lectures and peers.

In the first part I would be analysing area of success and failure of the engineered solution with the respect to each statement of the Product Design Specification where i go through all of the step that took me to my project solution and saying what  went well and what fail and how did I re-correct my problems t give me my final project solution.

In Part two I will discuss about having detailed suggestion on improving the engineered solution with respect to each statement of the Product  Design Specification in detail and to make it more commercially viable to succeed the design.
