i'm thinking about the house sidequest in breath of the wild and getting emotional because you find an abandoned property on the edge of hateno village. they tell you it's being demolished, that it's stood abandoned for a very long time. the previous owner, they say, left for the castle to be a guard. you offer to buy it. you refurbish it, making it feel like more of a home. something about it feels familiar, but you don't know why. (you don't know this, but it was your home. you are standing inside your childhood home, where you grew up, and you don't even remember it)
