Eric wiggled his nose some, rubbing the paint along Liam’s jaw. Grabbing a brush of his own, he ran the purple over Liam’s cheek and smiled. “You’re so cute. You know you always told me you wanted to paint me. So how about I paint you and you paint me baby?”

Liam snickered, gasping and feigning shock when Eric ran the paint along his jaw and cheek. "You're ridiculous." Liam chuckled, wrapping his arms around him and kissing him. He loved being with Eric like this. He still wasn't sure what he did to deserve him. He felt like he was the luckiest guy in the world. Liam kissed his cheek, brushing some paint along the other.

Eric chuckled some, following him in. The room was made just for Liam and his painting, Eric tended to leave it alone. But following him in, Eric looked at the canvas and smiled some. His arms wrapping around Liam’s waist as he kissed his shoulder. “Hmm well I like that idea…could I paint on you and then run you over the canvas?” he smirked his lips still pressed to Liam’s shoulder.

Liam smiled shyly, trying not to blush, "I hadn't planned that, but if you really want to, you can." He shrugged, kissing Eric's cheek. He didn't care how they did it, just as long as they have fun. He leaned over, getting a little bit of blue paint on his finger and gently dabbing it onto Eric's nose, giggling to himself. "Cute."

Eric was putting Daniel down for his nap when he felt arms around him and he was drug down the hall. He smiled to his love, loving how happy he was. They had really come into their own together. As Liam spoke, Eric nodded to him. “Well okay baby, I’m coming.” he whispered to him, only stopping once to pull him in and kiss him lightly. “I love you.”

Liam smiled as Eric kissed him, "I love you, too. Now come on, you're going to like this. I promise." He didn't actually know for sure if Eric would like it or not, but he hoped he would. He didn't see why he wouldn't. Liam pulled Eric into the room where he already had set up a big canvas and an assortment of paints. "You don't have to paint anything in particular. You can just do random lines if you want, but I thought it'd be fun."

Liam wanted to do something fun. He wanted to spend time with Eric, and make him smile. That was always the best thing to do with him. He went around the house, smiling to himself when he finally found him, wrapping his arms around him from behind, and directing him to his art room, "Come on, I want to do something." It was going to be silly, but he didn't really care. He didn't feel so self conscious around Eric anymore, and he wanted to do something they'd both enjoy. He just hoped Eric would like this.

Eric chuckled some, kissing his nose. “You are a cute drunk that wanted me to kiss him. How could I say no?” he teased, pulling him in closer and sucking softly on his neck. “My prince.” He loved having him like this, having him to hold and kiss.

Liam scrunched his nose, smiling shyly, "Of course I wanted to kiss you, look at you." He chuckled, wrapping his arms around Eric and tipping his head into his touch, humming softly. He didn't care about anything but being with him. He just wanted to be as close to Eric as possible.

Eric read to him, he loved this. Knowing one day that Liam would hopefully be able to read on his own but for now, he loved these soft and tender moments that they got. Finishing the chapter, Eric kissed Liam softly. “I love you so much, I don’t know what I did before I saw you.”

Liam chuckled softly against Eric's lips, "I was very drunk when you first saw me." He loved being close to Eric. Eric looked after him in a way no one else ever had before. He'd never really felt like he belonged with anyone before Eric. "I can't have been all that appealing, I probably looked ridiculous."

Eric kissed him back, smiling softly. “Well you can listen to me talk about how much I love you.” Chuckling lightly, Eric kissed his hair. “It doesn’t matter, I just love it on you.” With that, he settled into the bed more and started to read as he held Liam close to him. His hand sliding up and down Liam’s side softly.

Liam chuckled softly, "I like listening to you talk about that." He nudged his nose against Eric's cheek, sighing happily as he settled beside him. He loved listening to Eric's voice as he read to him. He just wished he didn't have to. He didn't like being a burden, and it would've been nice to not have to ask for help all the time.

Eric kissed him softly, smiling to him. “You know if you keep being cute I might not read to you. I’ll just want to tell you how amazing you are and how much I love you and I love watching you paint and how you always have paint in your hair but its my favorite thing.”

Liam leaned into every kiss, humming happily, "But I love your voice." He murmured softly, brushing their lips together again, "I love when you read to me.." He chuckled softly, hiding his face in Eric's shoulder, "I don't know how it gets in my hair."

Eric scrunched up his face, smiling some. “Well then when do you want to draw me? I can make time for you. You and Daniel come first my life.” he kissed him again softly. Liam had become the second most important person in his life the moment they said I do.

Liam smiled against Eric's lips, shrugging, "I don't know. We'll just have to wait and see. I'll wait until you're looking especially photogenic." Liam smirked, kissing Eric's jaw. Liam didn't know what he would've done without Eric. He had become so special to him.

Eric looked up to him, smiling softly. “I’m sure he is baby.” he patted the bed next to him. Once his husband joined him, Eric smiled at the paint in his hair. “What were you painting today baby?” he smiled softly and kissing his paint stained hair.

Liam smiled shyly as he sat beside Eric, leaning into him. He blushed, running his fingers through his hair, "A sunset. It's hard to get the reds just right." He wrapped his arms around Eric's waist, shifting closer and leaning against him more. He pressed a kiss to Eric's cheek, "I want to draw you sometime."

Eric watched his nervous husband take his son to his room, he knew that Liam would be nervous. Eric had faith him though and as he looked at the book, he smiled. It was one of his favorites and he thought it could be one that Liam liked as well.

Liam carefully placed Daniel down, pulling the blanket over him. As soon as he was sure he was alright, he quickly went back out to Eric. He chewed his lip nervously, hoping he had done everything right. Liam smiled shyly when he saw Eric, "I think he's okay in there." He shrugged. He didn't really know what to say. He wasn't good at this sort of stuff.

Eric had worked on things for his home country. Talking to his father and making sure the politics were going well. As he held his son on his lap, he looked up to Liam and smiled. He nodded to him, “Sure, do you mind putting Daniel to bed for me? You just need to put him in the crib and place a blanket over him.”

Liam looked down at Daniel, biting his lip, "I-I.. Okay.." He nodded hesitantly, though he really wasn't sure what he was doing. He just had to put him to bed. It couldn't be that hard, right? Hesitantly, he picked him up, heading too his room as quickly and carefully as possible. If he did it quickly, that would mean less time for him to mess it up, right? That's what he hoped. Maybe he wasn't so used to living with a kid after all, but he was trying.
