The Purge

If you guys have been following the news, Tumblr recently started a big purge, apparently intended to remove bots or child pornography or something, but unintentionally hit alot of users as well. My blog was one of them.

That I'm making a new post obviously means my account has been restored, but Tumblr has always shit on NSFW bloggers, requiring accounts to view NSFW content, hiding NSFW search results, forcibly resizing images, et cetera. The mobile app is also kind of garbage, like most mobile apps. On top of all that, I don’t really know if/when Tumblr will run another purge, my account get caught up again, and whether next time it’ll be for good.

Not much is gonna change, I guess. I’ll still post here, but I’m not gonna use this for my main dumping grounds anymore. I’m not gonna autopost on Twitter anymore. I’ve created a newgrounds account and started uploading some stuff there too. TL;DR I’m switching to other sites that are less hostile to NSFW creators.

Tumblr doesn’t do this by accident anyways, it shrinks images to 1280px wide if they’re posts, and 500px if they’re answers.
