There was just something inherently pleasing about flowers that had always drawn her to them, it’s the reason why she loved having plants on her balcony back home, and it’s the reason why she found herself in the garden today. “It’s nice out, isn’t it?” She speaks quietly to Tikki, the tiny god peeking out of her bag, conscious of the fact they were in public, and getting caught conversing would be less than ideal (even if it seemed like less of a danger than back home, she couldn’t risk it). She hoovers by one of the bushes to admire the colors and linger in the pleasant fragrance— she gets distracted when she spots someone, a seemingly normal girl. Her eyes linger for a moment, as curious as ever, but shakes it off. This was a public place, and even if she was known for being a bit unusual back home, she didn’t exactly want to get known as someone who was prone to watch people because that would be embarrassing and she could only think of ways that would go wrong (she doesn’t realize she’s voiced some of those concerns aloud until Tikki tells her that people might start staring, and she hushes up quickly).
Which means she needs to figure out a way to get out of it, find a different area to relax instead, a nod to herself and she’s quick on her feet to do so, gaze averted to the ground and hopes she’s just overthinking things and not getting any extra attention to herself. It’s with a startled noise she collides with the stranger— that’s embarrassing, all things considered, but nothing exactly unusual by her standards (she could pin it down to her usual clumsiness). But her mind’s already racing with worse case scenarios, and she has to take a moment to remind herself that no matter how odd her behavior might come across, it wasn’t illegal, and therefore she was worrying for nothing. She spares a quick glance down at her bag to make sure her kwami was there and hidden (because whew, that could definitely manage to make this worse)— deep breaths, she could do this. “I’m so so sorry! I wasn’t watching where I was going and oh, I’m totally at fault here… Are you okay? I, uh…I can make it up to you if you aren’t!” Her words come out with a rambling breath, round blue eyes watch cautiously for a reaction.
Of course, this gives her a chance to actually get a closer look at the girl; again, she comes to the conclusion that she’s probably not anything special (even if her gaze lingers on her ring for just a moment, jewelry was usually just jewelry in the end). And then, she realizes a question had been asked of her, a blink before she lets out a small laugh (though she now wonders if she’d been caught staring— best to play it off as nothing). “What? No, no— me, needing something? Nope, I’m all good here. What made you think that.” Nailed it.
She was starring again, and she said she didn’t want anything? Doubtful, but obviously the truth in this case, it wasn’t unnatural for Hakuno to draw attention displaying such an important ring. Though hearing the girl reply did make Hakuno laugh a bit, sure this wasn’t the most ideal situation to meet someone, they did just run into each other and everything, but it was best to make friends than make enemies. Hakuno went over what the girl said and her actions in her head, she was worried over Hakuno it was obvious she didn’t mean any harm now so Hakuno dropped her guard even if just a little bit. Hakuno gave a nod letting the girl know she was alright, to be honest Hakuno, though be it rare for her to show much emotion, was finding the way this girl acted...entertaining, there were only three people that could make Hakuno laugh, well four now.
“Oh yes i am fine.” Hakuno said to confirm that she was, in fact, alright and not harmed in any way, though Hakuno managed to catch the girl peeking into her bag, did she drop something? That wasn’t really any of Hakuno’s business so she pushed that to the side. Yet again Hakuno happened to let out a girl towards the girls behavior, odd she never really had laughed at anyone’s behavior besides Saber’s, though with the girl not there then perhaps it was easy to find another person with an entertaining behavior pattern. “Ah i see, i thought you were staring at me or something, I am Hakuno, it’s very nice to meet you.”
Now thinking about it Hakuno didn’t know why she questioned her safety, the girl was rather nice and made no attempts to take the ring from her, it was obvious she didn’t intend to try and take it. Hakuno was enjoying her time in the peaceful area, but now she was more entertained than she was before, perhaps she didn’t need as much protection as she thought. Now that the trouble was passed and they both were alright, Hakuno’s eyes shifted down to look over the girls clothing, it didn’t seem like anything special, but there was something off about the girls bag. It wasn’t a worrying kind of off, but it felt like there was more to be seen, but she was probably imagining it, it wasn’t abnormal for hakuno to imagine things while she was alone, she still had an active imagination. Perhaps Hakuno could actually find a friend in this girl, she seemed nice enough that she wouldn’t present harm to Hakuno, maybe they would get along well?
