objectified. [INTRO/OPEN]

The mirror lay uselessly on the ground, the reflective side facing up at the sky, dark and rolling clouds being watched by the entity within. It was propped up slightly by a tear-drop shaped gem upon the back, a smooth cerulean stone made of lapis lazuli, perfect in all it’s glory besides a deep crack that spider webbed its way up the middle. She watched at the people went by, minding their own business. They had no use for such a beat up thing, and this the gem was convinced that she would stay inside… forever.

Legs either trailed around her or directly over her, the mirror only reflecting the image it faced faithfully. Where were they headed? Wouldn’t they take her along? Even if she couldn’t go to her own home… Lapis didn’t want to be left in the street like some sort of piece of trash! It was bad enough she had to constantly stay in that bubble until… until…

Ah, she wondered where her ‘summer fun buddy’ was now.

Of course she was abandoned… Thrown aside like a piece of trash. She would never get home. She would never have a home again…! The being inside spiraled deeper and deeper into her own depression and hopelessness, only looking in time to see a careless passerby’s foot headed right toward her glassy surface. Panicking, she summoned the only power she could.

"Noooooooo!" A boy screamed, but at second glance it came from the magical mirror itself, an image not of the sky, but of a boy yelling in terror shown instead. The being could only hope it was enough to warn the passerby— she didn’t want to get any more damaged than she already was…

Learning her way around such a large city was quite tough but-- in all fairness-- Sakura seemed to be getting the hang of it with every familiar turn she took and street she roamed down. If she could remember it better, perhaps she could thank this decent sense of direction to living in a place as grand as Clow Country but unfortunately her few memories of such a home were fuzzy around the edges. For now, she could simply thank her uncanny good luck and continue on her way with memorizing the area.

...Or at least she would have had a sudden scream nearby not brought her to a halt. Unaware that it came from the object near her foot that she had almost crushed with one more step, the brunette found herself looking around frantically to locate the destination of where the sound had arose. But, the few people around all continued on with their business as if nothing unusual had happened and so the princess found herself looking to the ground in confusion, unsure of whether she had truly heard the yell to begin with.

And it was then that a gleam from the sun setting high in the sky reflected within the mirror caught her eye and before she knew it, Sakura found herself kneeling down and gently lifting the object up to eye-level.

"I wonder if someone is searching for this..." She mused aloud as her thumb gently stroked the crack on the gem that the mirror had originally been propped upon. Unlike the mirror, the jewel appeared to have more value despite its condition.

"...I should definitely look for the owner."

✿ Familiarity || Closed ✿

Her first glimpse at the girl is enough to stop Sakura in her footsteps-- lips parting in surprise as her eyes widen upon the sight of such a familiar view of delicate features. Heart pounding in her chest, she perhaps would have ran up to greet the young woman eagerly had the other's strange outfit and headgear not given her a bit of a startle. The brunette is grateful for this, though, because the startle gave her enough time to let realization sink in...

The friend she had made back in Piffle World is not this girl-- no matter how identical their features may be. And despite her knowledge of this fact, she takes a meek step forward and manages to choke the name out regardless, "T-Tomoyo-chan...?"

Immediately, the princess is aware that she has set herself up for disappointment but there's no regrets to follow her gentle inquiry. Even if this isn't the friend she knows, it's soothing to see such a familiar face in a world that is anything but.

✿ Worlds Away || OPEN ✿

Already a month, was it. Time flew rather quickly around here, or perhaps she was used to the flow of time. A holy being in which had lived for many centuries, it was only understandable that passing seasons felt like it went by in a blink of an eye. Concerned? She had plenty of that, worrying over all her Shinki back at the Heavens. Alas, she never gave up, never lost hope, and never planning to fall back. She’ll find a way out, eventually. No matter how long it takes, that was the least of her concerns. Time, after all, was nothing but numbers to her.

Another day in which she decided to treat herself with a cup of tea at a local cafe, she was halted in front of the entrance when she was interrupted by another. Her head swayed to the other’s direction, she shifted her attention to the curious girl. Already, she knew she was an addition to this cursed city, and the goddess was rueful to the brunette. Naive and almost pure enough for her own good, she wondered if this individual had any secrets to hold. Shaking such thoughts away, she warned herself she was assuming too soon. A terrible habit she had obtained during her stay here, she mustn’t judge one before interactions.

"It’s supposedly called Hive City… I assume you are a newcomer?" Here she urged herself not to sound unpleasant around the adolescent, considering the look on her face was filled with wonders of delight.

"Hive City?" The name itself is repeated once aloud and several times mentally as the brunette attempts to seal it in her memory. Forgetting the name of this world could prove to be troublesome in the near future-- especially if this world is one that will require Sakura to pretend she has been inhabited in for long. However, her time in such a place has been short and she has yet to learn what the do's and dont's of this peculiar area will be. That's something she hopes to learn soon, though. Smile absentmindedly slipping back into place, the girl steals a peek at the other's outfit before looking down at the cloth covering her own body with a slight blush freckling over her cheeks due to embarrassment.

This isn't an unusual scenario, though, as her clothes had been considered quite 'weird' and 'unusual' in multiple worlds she traveled to before this one. Being a newcomer must be obvious-- in fact, it must be easy to pick Sakura's form out in a crowd. She deems that thought true when she looks around quickly to see multiple people passing by in outfits far more tame than her own. "Um, yes! That's right! I only arrived a short while ago! ...I think..." Truthfully, she could have been asleep for hours or for several minutes before so her precise arrival time is currently unknown. When arriving to new worlds the first step Syaoran and the others take is purchasing clothes that look similar to everyone else so Sakura decides that to be a good place to start while she's alone.

"If it's not too much trouble to ask... Would you happen to know if there's some kind of shop here that sells clothing?"

The first thing she became aware of upon awakening was the warmth of the sun's rays glowing against her pale skin and a rough texture that itched at the palms of her hands and the exposed skin of her back. Mumbling incoherently in her daze, the girl's face scrunched up in displeasure though she made no sudden attempts at facing her new situation. Instead, she chose to stay blind to the world while attempting to gather her thoughts together-- however few they may be. And, unfortunately for her, 'few' was a simple understatement.

As she had been told before, all of her memories had been scattered through various worlds in the form of feathers and until those could be retrieved she was merely an empty shell wandering around. Or at least she had been in the beginning. Syaoran and the others worked hard every passing day to retrieve said feathers for her and their efforts certainly weren't in vain. Color had returned to her sullen face and cheerfulness had once again taken its rightful place in her personality. The more memories returned to her, the healthier she seemed to become. And there was no doubting that she, too, was eager to play a role in the part of retrieving the feathers. Her feathers. In the beginning she had been useless and although she was still prone to the rather occasional fatigue, she was no longer as helpless as before.

Thankfully, Syoaran, Fai, Mokona and even Kurogane had been patient with her recovery. The remembrance of her companions was what caused the brunette's eyes to shoot open in time for her to bolt upright only to be greeted by miles of buildings and concerned glances shot her way from people passing by. That, however, was understandable. It probably wasn't often that they saw a teenage girl asleep in the middle of the street. Groggily rising to her feet, she scanned the surrounding area with enthusiastic emerald hues-- smile faltering upon the realization that her friends were nowhere to be seen. That had become the norm, though. They were most likely searching for her memories and she was more than eager to lend a helping hand. It was, after all, her problem and she still couldn't come to understand why the others went through the hassle of helping her. It was much appreciated, however, and Sakura swore to pay them back for it someday.

Although this type of place seemed far different from her kingdom in Clow Country, she was undisturbed by such a dramatic change of scenery. Traveling worlds had gotten her accustomed to it quickly. Speaking of, finding out the name of the world she had found herself in would be a helpful start. It was with that particular thought in mind that she approached the nearest stranger and cleared her throat gently to catch their attention all while dusting the dirt from her unusual (in their standards, most likely) outfit.

"Excuse me, but..."
