does anyone ever talk about how bernkastel looks like a little girl (Rika) but has what rika considered the mark of adulthood (big chest) because its a detail i love and makes bernkastel so much more interesting to me. you know what this reminds me of

takano. yes i am making this up but bernkastel and takano look so similar to me in the original sprites especially their hair. bernkastel ripping stomachs open with a scythe is exactly what takano does and it makes me think of her as a somewhat "rikas miyo" where rika would be miyoko. of course its also a reference to the watanagashi ritual that is supposed to purify the mattresses (like how punishments serve as an "atonement" for wrong doings <- takanos orphanage). basically how (child) abuse impacts people which might be ryukishis favorite topic
