… [WHAT A PRETTY BOW] Thanks err.. Okay. So— What do we do first?

Well first we've got to weigh out the ingredients. All the flavours have the same basic batter, but do you want to decide which flavour we're going to make?

..Is that so? Mm.. I don’t really remember. [shrugs] Uhh— alright. [He’s a bit like woah apron what I didn’t sign up for an apron. Grabbing the extra one, he started attempting to put it on, only failing at tieing it from behind.]

[watches him try to tie the apron like smh] come, here, I'll do it. [ties it in a pretty bow for him] there~

[Nodding his head, he followed her into the kitchen] This’ll be interesting.. I’ve never uh.. Cooked sweets before.

I think I tried to make you and Green bake with me when we were kids, but you weren't interested [she laughs] let's start with washing hands and grabbing an apron [she ties her hair back and puts on her own apron]

.. Uhh. Yeah, alright — Um.. .. If you want to? [he shrugged his shoulders, he wasn’t too big on cooking but— well, recalling Lyra nearly burning down her apartment, he figured it’d be best if he learned how to make sweet things for her once in awhile]

Well then, it's time for Leaf's cupcake masterclass~ let's head into the kitchen, shall we?

Yeah — So.. What did you want me to do here— I mean… I can’t exactly.. bake?

Well you could clean some tables for me, but we're pretty dead. I could show you how to bake, it's not that hard.

Conflict

As the days went he tried to come up with ways to go over and apologize to Leaf. Thinking about it time after time, he really should have dealt with it better. Though the timing of it happening was his excuse for it not resulting better, but even so, he should have known how to deal with it if it was with friends. Which in this case.. It was.

“Hey Leaf.” He said as he pushed open the door to her little cupcake shop, even if he wasn’t so certain that she might be there or just hanging out somewhere else. Taking in the view, he noticed that this really was the first time in a long time that he has walked into her shop. “Can we talk..”

It was still quite early in the morning - the cafe had only had about a dozen customers so far, but there was still the rest of the day's custom to come. Leaf was in the kitchen at the back of the cafe, in the middle of preparing a couple of fresh batches of cupcakes for the lunchtime rush. Her hair messily tied up, a stay strand kept falling in her eyes as she concentrated on frosting a bunch of cookies & cream cupcakes.

Hearing the bell on the ring, she quickly finished the cupcake she was working on, setting the piping bag aside. "Just a minute!" she called, wiping her hands on her apron so she could fix her properly. Walking backwards through the kitchen door, she turned around to see him just as he spoke, making her freeze up instantly. Dropping her hands to her sides, the stray hair fell back into her face as she gave a small nod. "Okay... take a seat... Coffee?"

Are you sure? When I was a student, I'd take any freebies that came my way. Anyway, what kinda food do want to get? You can choose~

as for "those two"... I assume you mean Green & Red? ...I brought it on myself, I guess. I knew what Green was like with girls. I don't know why I thought he would be any different with me. As for Red, we never liked each other, but I hope we can fix it. I hope we can all fix it...

Overcoming Broken Bonds

"—.. Your dad died?" Having no recollection of this having happened, as he was sure her dad was still around when he was sixteen. He might not have liked her company then, or even her at all, but he knew to at least empathize her loss.

Taking in that news, the raven began uncomfortably scratching the back of his neck. “..Ah. I see.” He responded, he was hesitant to know how to exactly feel about her visiting him. After all, he was being a jerk to her last night. “..Huh?” His gaze quickly found its way to her form, and focused at her due to the request. It was, the same thing he had practically asked Green the prior night, but.. Feeling as lost as he was, there wasn’t a reason for him to really say no to it, was there? “I.. .. See.” He couldn’t properly formulate an answer, for the moment.

"Oh... Yeah, when I was in high school. You must have been about... 19 I think?" That had been a very low point her life. With Red on Mount Silver, Green at his gym in Viridian and her dad in the hospital, it was the loneliest she'd been, to this day.

"You don't have to answer right away, Red. Just think about it, okay? For me?" She smiled weakly, wondering whether asking him 'for her' would make a difference or not. She hoped they could be friends. It could be the only good thing to come out of this whole situation.

"World history, Pokemon Anat and Phsy, Precalc, Poetry and Language. How about yourself?" Wow he couldn’t take his eyes off her, she’d really developed into a beautiful young woman. "Pride and joy huh? Well ‘m glad ya found something ya like doing then. So what do you recommend?" He asked looking over the display case he might as well buy something while he was here right?

"I graduated a few years back, I majored in Business~ so you're taking World History and Pokemon Anatomy? Sounds like you're going to be in Red & Green's classes." She quirked her eyebrows, curious if he already knew or not. "I'm glad too. What would I recommend...? The Cherry Chocolate cupcake is new for Valentine's Day, it's selling pretty well so far~ you want a coffee? Hot chocolate?" she smiled at him, noticing his eyes fixed at her.
