Honestly, new fans who think F1 is just fan fiction are a real pain in the ass. First of all, Max arrived in F1 with the most aggressive attitude and was nicknamed "Crashstappen" because he ruined everyone's races, just ask Kimi or Seb. Secondly, it wasn't like he respected the older drivers or actively sought out their support.

Even when he was fighting for his multiple championships, Lewis defended Max in the press multiple times precisely because of his age. But the 21,000 people who liked this clearly started watching the sport yesterday and only know Max from what they read about him on AO3.
