The blue-footed booby (Sula nebouxii) is a marine bird native to the tropical regions of the eastern Pacific Ocean. The blue pigmentation of their feet is due to carotenoid pigments from the fish they eat. The brightness of their feet indicates their health. The females avoid mates with dull colored feet.

The green footed booby I’d a genetic offshoot of its blue brother.

Pretty… but I think only edible items should be put on cakes. And if those flowers don’t take sweet… they shouldn’t be there!

But what does the frosting taste like?!?

It’s beautiful… but I suddenly thought of the effort it took to find those stone… probably in very difficult to find places. And the people who actually dug then out probably got paid pennie’s for their effort.

Suddenly the necklace doesn’t look so pretty.
