i need to spill my unhinged sanzo/zosan AUs to someone rn or else i will literally explode with the amount of yaoi possessed within me but im lowkey intimidated by all you little internet people ( ꩜ ‸ ꩜;)
but just to give you a sample of my thoughts (sorry they are still very very much scrambled):
firstly, i have a ddlc-esque AU where zoro comes across a strange visual novel game with no reviews and where the main (and only?) love interest is sanji.
however, the twist is that the character sanji is/was a real person who basically uploaded his conscious or like "self" onto the internet via the form of a visual novel bc he so desperately wanted to find the love that was absent throughout his life. and i have this specific image in my head where as sanji uploads his "self" online, he has all these wires connected from his computer to his body (very serial experimental lain style) and his hair turns black as he slowly loses himself to the intangible internet. idk if i wanna make sanji's character aware of his real self but either way, he's keen on trying to make zoro stay playing as long as possible. however through a bunch of weird glitches (maybe the game itself trying to warn him?) zoro soon finds out to and has to decide whether to keep playing or delete the game, ultimately killing sanji entirely.
another one is more nsfw, birthed from listening to the nightcore version of doktorspiele on repeat, and started off more as a joke but my brain was like "but what if we make this toxic?"
basically it's patient!zoro x nurse/doctor!sanji where zoro's suffering from a weird medical condition that has lead him to a lot of sexual frustration that he has tried dealing with on his own but to no avail. then he comes across an ad for sanji's clinic which, to his luck, specialises in curing weird specific problems like his, and booked an appointment. oddly the location isn't a proper clinical building but rather an apartment, and the chilling feeling zoro gets is only heightened as sanji greets him with all smiles. zoro notes the dilapidated state of the interior except for one specific room sanji calls the "operation room". if you're familiar with the yami kawaii subculture, the room very much fits that theme, like its totally unlike the cold white hospital rooms zoro was familiar with. and despite all the red flags he has given zoro, the latter goes through with it bc he desperately wants his problem gone. sanji then gives him some strange medication, does the very sfw procedure, and zoro's issue is solved. hooray! the end! everyone is happy right? no. because when one issue is solved, another one arises and zoro returns to sanji who gives him the same kind of very sfw treatment, though this time with another kind of medicine. after a while, that problem was solved but like the first time, another one arises...the cycle repeats. now question, why does zoro keep returning to sanji? is it because of the medicine sanji gives him? is sanji deliberately drugging zoro so he can fulfills his sick desired role of a caretaker (while not taking care of himself)? or is zoro so incredibly touched starved, and the way sanji treats him not just during the procedure, but after too, fulfills what he subconciously craves and everything else is all in his head?
