While working remote for an Atlanta agency, I spent a few months on a project with Zach Dobeck. Towards the end, he announced he was leaving to open a brewery in Waukee, Iowa. ⠀ ⠀ I reached out to him back then and even though we didn’t know each other well, he kept in touch and always treated me like we’d been hanging out for years. He showed me some ideas for what they had planned, and while they looked amazing I couldn’t help but think how lofty they felt. ⠀ ⠀ @kinshipbeer opened on January 1, 2021, and... Holy. Crap. This place is huge, amazing, beautiful, and a lot more words my tired brain can’t conjure up at the moment. I have to say, the outcome far exceeded (at least my) expectations. ⠀ ⠀ Tons of room to grow, massive future plans, custom artwork covering the place, inside & outside places to hang, a badass 1/2 acre dog park, space for live music, a kitchen in the works, and a great team from all over the country who are passionate about what they do. ⠀ ⠀ I was lucky enough to make a short visit part of my trip yesterday, and I’m in complete awe.
