When God says NO, He has His reasons and He doesn't owe explanations to anyone... Because even if He did explain, we still wouldn't understand or we are so much fixated to what we want that we have blindspots. He let's it play out as you observe then it hits you; " God was protecting me! " Traps don't come with big glittering letters saying "THIS IS A TRAP", instead they come with more reasons to walk into them; our obsession with what is in them clouds out our judgment blinding us that we fail to see the catastrophe awaiting to happen if we walk in. In order to achieve dramatic improvement in a business, the business undergoes what we call Business Process Reengineering which is a radical redesign of the core business processes. Sometimes one has to abandon old processes/ways which are no longer bringing results or don't bring the results you expect. You either change the processes or drop your expectations. The world will never stop out of pity to wait for anyone to make up their mind. That moment when you face your fears or your failures and admit that something needs to change; that moment brings with it liberation. Stay stuck or switch. #ways #fine #young #differently #without #though #taking #itself #personaldevelopment #personality #personalizedgifts #personalize #personalblog #strategygame (at Nairobi, Kenya) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzTisyxH94y/?igshid=ag467ec1ubff
Do people still do this? I've been thinking about this for a while and as a believer, it's quite saddening to see the perception that people have on believers which leads me to this ; how did we get here? The church has become an easy prey to conmen some of whom unfortunately are the very leaders who should be protecting them. The love for easy things which don't require toiling.... Do I believe in miracles? Of course I do; do they happen all the time absolutely NOT. It's quite unfortunate that Christians have loved miracles than the God who performs those miracles. The Bible talks about meekness and not gullibility. Some years back before I had any tertiary education, some people came to the church our church then. They were talking about their college which was offering courses like Community development and other Social work studies. I doubt the college exists..... What's funny about this story? Wait for it; the people started dropping names of successful people who had done those courses (Community Development and the like... No offense to those who have done those courses).... One name that kept popping up was that of the the Under Secretary General of the United Nations; Prof. Anna Kajumulo Tibaijuka. Fresh from high school, naive and living in a slum.... Hearing what I have potential of making if I studied that course gave me goosebumps. Glad I never followed that path for that particular reason of making a lot of money because so many people did and..... Some don't like talking about it. As I later came to learn Prof. Tibaijuka was/is a professor of Economics and not what we were being made to believe. Please NOTE this was being said in a church and to add salt to the injury it was in a slum. The people said once one has that certificate, they'll be spoiled for choices in terms of jobs..... That there were so many NGOs waiting to employ you. Why don't we see these things in Mosques or other religions? Is it that we present ourselves as desperate or does subscribing to Christianity automatically check the "Terminally Naive" box without our consent? What is it? Remember real the estate scandals involving churches.... (at Nairobi, Kenya) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzP-4kOnF6x/?igshid=noye16uf8ws7
Watch the full video 👇 https://youtu.be/9kX_0rM2yAE Or see link in bio Let me be the crazy one and say this; the story"Kenya is a hotbed of academic cheating" might be a bad publicity intended to turnish the name of the country but.... It's not a bad thing! If you think about it ;..... It means Kenyans have good brains. It's good for Africa too, given the fallacies advocated by people like Jared Taylor and his fellow peddlers of racism; it also helps to debunk the 2007 story by Dr. James Watson (Google him) that broke the hearts of many Black people. The world could have bought the story because it came from the desk of someone who has scientific authority in the subject. For some reason the world refused to buy Dr. Watson's story and instead sided with Blacks. Whether or not it was genuine, we'll never know and for what it's worth i think it's better we don't.This story saw an avalanche of misfortunes rain on Dr. Watson leaving no place for him to hide. At some point, he even had to auction his trophies to survive. #proudtobeblack #Blackshavebrains #intelligence #blackgene #proudlyblack #kenyan (at Nairobi, Kenya) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwWj9lJFgIi/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=iz795t3lzety
I've just uploaded a new video on YouTube (link in bio) about entitlement. This is after the story that has been going round about the Nakuru family that rejected a house gift from the President citing poor quality and saying that they don't believe that the president could give such a "poor quality" house. With respect, the woman (Denis Ngaruiya's mother) said that she was not consulted when the land was purchased. In her argument, she says that she had a better location which she tried to suggest to the people who were given the mandate to oversee the whole house project but they ignored her suggestion and went ahead to buy in a different location. My view is, you don't question free gifts unless they are illegal. Now as it is, the house has been handed over to another family which was identified as more deserving. We don't know but that could mean that the original intended beneciary was termed undeserving and if that's the case, I wouldn't want to be them or anyone who knows them. Lesson : there's always tons of people waiting in line so, make wise moves when faced with situations similar to this family's. The worst part is that like chess, some pieces can't move backwards. Once you declare something with this amount of attention you can't take it back. Tread carefully. ✌️ (at Nairobi, Kenya) https://www.instagram.com/p/BuWTAOmHd_I/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=o51dvflzvfj2

Don't focus so much on the things you've lost to a point you forget what you've gained along the way. Gratitude opens a door for more to come, don't be all dull and beating yourself up for things which didn't go your way. Be happy and grateful for those that you have. And you're right, this is easier said than done but the truth is once you learn to thank God for what you have, what you want/need is not far behind. Live is not that long, you could use every single moment you can get to be happy. Be happy for little successes and be grateful for them too, the huge ones you so badly want will soon find the furrow and flow towards you or better still you'll find the way to them. Take every hard moment as a preparation ground for an easier one. Being hopeful makes you feel better because it tells your soul that something is on the way to bring a sigh of relief moment and that rest is not far ahead.
