Recently you reacted fiercely to all sorts of accusations towards your girlfriend on social media. Did you think it was necessary?
"Yes. When you see what can be done and adjusted with AI and fake messages that seem so real these days... I think it's bizarre how far that goes and that there are people who have it in them to do those things. The fact that it even started influencing her work... you know, that's really extreme. And at some point you're just done with people doing that. I've always been someone who says: ignore, ignore, ignore and don't pay any attention to it any more. But at some point you can't ignore it any longer because how far people go, will get completely out of control."
That does make you mad?
"How evil people can be is really extreme. Some are, I think, just very jealous, generally speaking. Maybe it has something to do with that. Jealousy, resentment: those kind of things."
Do you notice this in other things as well?
"Right now it has to do more with the relationship and especially geared towards Kelly. But it's not just us, you know? It happens to other people in the paddock. I'm very much about letting things go: if you don't pay attention to it, it will just fade away. But some people just won't stop."
You yourself are not very active on social media?
"No. And when I don't like something I'll press 'ignore' so it won't show up on my feed any more, you know. I'm fairly easy about it all but there is a limit."
Nothing genuinely makes me laugh more when people are like “can’t wait to see how Max copes with a car that can’t win” when he literally had 2015-2020 in a car wasn’t near Merc or Ferrari and he could win 1-2 races a year😭like bro your argument isn’t real when Max knows what it’s like😭
I think everyone and their mother knows Carlos is not going to red bull. So it's not Carlos's fault that some people on twitter can't comprehend the fact that he's actually friends with Max and respects him as a driver (given the fact he was the one who saq max so closely in his debut year).
