Red Rock Robotics is excited to be presenting our work at the Thanksgiving Point Maker Faire!! If you're in the area make sure to stop by and see us.
Here it is, the official 3006 robot reveal! It's a tall boy. We anticipate making some fairly major changes at competition, but for now we've got an active intake for both the switches and scale, and a climber (all using the same set of slides). We are also utilizing an onboard raspberry pi for a vision tracking autonomous. It's equipped with special high-traction nitrile wheels, and a hefty four-cim drive train. A huge thank you to everyone who made this bot possible, and see you in Utah!

Sorry that I haven't posted any updates lately. Last week we competed at the World Championship in Houston, TX in the Turing devision, placing in the middle at 41st. Congratulations to our Idaho alliance partners #5499 for being on the Einstein-winning alliance! Thanks to everyone for the amazing season!!!!
Didn’t have time to make a day 2 post. Day 3 got chosen by the number one seed (with my dream alliance!!) and won the finals, heading on strong to the World Championship in Houston! We were also given the industrial design award for our bot!
End of Idaho Regional day 1. Only 2 practice rounds and some comms errors, but we got our brand-new vision tracking autonomous working perfectly on the practice field! Hoping for a successful day 2 with qualification matches!

2 days after the Utah regional, building a new frame in a day in order to practice for (hopefully!) our next regional.
End of day 3. Made it to the semis. Robot bagged and tagged with dreams of another competition... (And an after-party at IHOP)
End of day 2. I’m not sure that this was our best score, but it was the match in which us and some underdogs beat the only undefeated team!!
End of day 1 at the Utah Regional, our best score was 231 (to 68, with only 2 bots on our alliance!!)
