Do Marauders apologists think the sexual assault was justified? Or do they just pretend it didn't happen?
When Marauders apologists talk about how much James grew up and changed, and how Lily wouldn't have dated him otherwise, they somehow always ignore that Lily already had a canonical crush on James when he was still publicly abusing Severus.
It's mind-boggling how hypocritical they get about it too, they know they don't have an excuse for it and try to throw Severus under the bus.
"Snape joined a racist group!"
That word has a different meaning than they seem to think it does. It was discriminative and he was groomed for years into joining. Both by the hundreds of Slytherins he roomed with, and the Gryffindors around him that made him suffer and alienated him from everyone else.
"Snape bullied children!"
No? He was just a strict teacher who made angry remarks at his students. He was bad at teaching, that doesn't make him a bully.
"He outed Lupin as a werewolf!"
After Lupin almost murdered five people. Three of which were students. He had already warned those students on how deadly a werewolf could be and how to differentiate one from an actual wolf.
Yet they never want to talk about how James ganged up on, abused, and sexually assaulted a schoolmate because he "existed".
They always say that James "grew up" and "changed for the better", like, no? Their only proof is what James's best friends say when talking to James's son, which is just that he "got better", or that Lily wouldn't have dated him otherwise.
Again, Lily already had a crush on James and defended him to his victim when James was his known abuser, are we really supposed to accept that as proof of his character development?
⤷ ゛WHITE TUFT ˎˊ˗
The grass of the park was clumsily trimmed, paths repaired just enough to not cause a trip hazard for any of the children running around. Crickets chirped somewhere near the pond, their sound mixing with the distant hum of the never-ending traffic polluting the stuffy air of Gotham.
You'd chosen this part of the park carefully. Open space, multiple exits—a public space where JASON could easily exist without a helmet or a hood covering his jagged face.
The blanket you brought was thick and slightly ridiculous—patterned with different farm animals, only natural given it was Martha's—and the food he had bought was...very Jason. Chinese still in the foil containers, messily sliced sandwiches, and a thermos full of tea instead of something fancy or properly refreshing.
"I can feel you judging my food choices," He said, eyeing you with his back against the tree, posture relaxed but alert.
You scoffed, "Whaaaaat? No way."
"Don't make fun of me!" He whined, sitting up, "Not everyone's some silly farm girl with fresh food in the garden. No need to look at me like I'm a feral racoon."
"You do eat like one..."
He snorted and reached for a container anyways, placing a generous amount onto his plate. His shoulders loosening as he finally got some food into his large gob.
"Okay, nevermind. I think I was just hungry, you look normal."
You leaned back on your elbows, watching him with a grin. The lamppost caught his face in a way that felt unreal, highlighting every single feature that wasn't too obvious without. The small scars littering his face—majority of which you recognised from a time way before this, the faint outline of his cheekbones–
Nevermind, you're distracted again.
It's that white tuft of hair. It made your chest ache everytime you looked at it.
What is it? Where did it come from? Does he dye it in an attempt to take the attention away from his face? That sounds the most likely.
Of course, he caught you staring.
"What...?" He asked.
"Nothing," You said quickly before smiling, "Just looking."
The silence that followed after wasn't awkward, but it was a bit heavy. You could feel the question sitting heavy in your chest.
"How?" You asked softly.
Jason exhaled through his nose, slow and controlled. He leaned back again, eyes fixed on the lamppost filtering through the leaves.
"Thought we were just hanging out," He said.
"We are," You nodded, "But I still have questions. How are you here?"
He stared at you then, something in his expression only faintly shifting. It was less guared, but still sharp around the edges.
"You ever hear of the Lazarus Pit?"
Your stomach dropped, "Er, yeah. In passing."
He set the plate of food aside, hands flexing as they rest on his thighs, "After I died, Ra's al Ghul dug me up. Dropped me into one of those things."
Your breath caught, leaning forward on your hands.
"It brought me back," He continued, "But not right. It messes with your head. Makes everything louder, angrier. It's like you're trapped inside your worst day and can't find the exit."
You stared at him, horror and awe tangling together, "That's– Jason that's insane–"
"Yeah," He said flatly, "Didn't help that there's no user manual alongside it."
You scooted closer without thinking, shoulder brushing against his arm.
"It took years to get stable. Well, as stable as you can be after dying," He went on, "Took ages to feel like I was actually me again and not just a bottle of rage shoved into a body stitched together again."
You swallowed hard, "And you did all that. You survived all that."
He scoffed quietly, "Survived is a strong word."
"No," You insisted, "No way. You died, you were brought back in one of the scariest ways imaginable, and you're still here. That's not nothing."
For a moment he looked like he didn't know what to do with your words, "You always have been bad for my ego."
You smiled and reached up so that your fingers could play with that pale streak of hair littering his fringe, "Is this cute tuft a side effect?"
"Yeah..."
"What...?" You questioned at his strange tone.
"Cute?" He questioned.
You grinned, "It is. Very cool."
"You're weird," He huffed.
"Oh, you know you love it."
"I tolerate it," He corrected, but his mouth was still twitching into a smile.
"As if! I've been you're only friend for like– ever!" You argued back.
"No! I had other friends before I died!" He opposed.
"Richard doesn't count!"
"Oh."

Oooo maybe Jason spots Kryptonian!Reader at his grave one night and he's confused and ask why she's there and she says it's just a safe space for her now so they both sit there and thats where it happens?
⤷ ゛PAST CONFESSIONS ˎˊ˗
Gotham's cemetery was always far too quiet for JASON'S liking. Every single disturbance of noise would press against your ears and echo louder than it had any right to.
Jason didn't even really know why he was here. It's just sometimes, when he's feeling down, he likes to walk around and think about the lives of the people before his time—it's comforting.
He's not in costume or anything, just a hoodie pulled over his head and some tacky jeans on while his boots scuffed against the familiar stone path. It was peaceful—something Gotham often wasn't.
That was until he turned a corner and came to a stop.
"Are you serious..."
You were sitting at his grave.
Not crying or anything, just...there. Cross-legged in the grass and posture straight in that annoying way he can only assume is due to Kryptonian bone structure. The only sounds escaping your mouth was the soft vibration of you humming some sort of tune.
For half a second, something ugly and sharp flared in his chest.
It was fear.
Because for a split moment his brain seemed to totally forget that you did know about his revival. It's like he immediately jumped to the idea of you mourning him, that he was continuing to let you live with that false reality after all these months.
And when he regained his thoughts, he was just confused.
Jason exhaled slowly and stepped forward, boots crunching over leaves as he veered off the path and toward his grave. The one thing he always made sure to avoid.
"Y'know," He began, voice rough but attempting to be casual, "I never knew you had the memory of a goldfish."
Your head snapped up despite your super senses surely warning you of his existence, staring at him like a deer in headlights.
"Oh. Hello, Jason."
"Hey."
He was suddenly very aware of his hands and the fact that he had to put them somewhere.
You scrambled to your feet, brushing grass off of your knees before hesitating like you weren't sure what to say.
He hated that. Hated that flicker of uncertainty like he was still a stranger.
"So," He drawled, jerking his chin toward the grave, "Wanna tell me why my headstone is this nights hangout?"
You winced, "Don't make it sound morbid–"
"It is a little morbid."
"Whatevs," You huff, crossing your arms to pull your hoodie closer to yourself.
"Woah, who taught you slang?" He asks with a grin, stepping closer so you were shoulder-to-shoulder, "You know what, not the point, what are you doing?"
"I'm not visiting you," You said carefully, "Not like before."
Jason crossed his arms himself, "Okay...I'm still confused."
You smiled, peaking a glance back at the black etching on the marble, "When you were dead–" You stopped, swallowing before correcting yourself, "When I thought you were dead...this was the only place I could sit without feeling the pressure of having to protect people so young."
Jason's jaw tightened. He knew all about your guilt surrounding his death—but he also knew about Krypton. An oh-so-beautiful ice planet, which from your words, seem to have been suspiciously like a twenty-four-seven boot camp for everyone living there. He can't imagine growing up you ever got many chances to process actually being young.
"I couldn't do anything to save you because I didn't know," You carried on, "And for a long time that felt like it was going to tear me in half. Sitting here was just a break."
"And now...?" He asked, throat burning.
"Now you're alive," You looked back at him, "And I'm the happiest I've been in a long time."
Jason huffed, shaking his head, "I know I'm a bit gloomy—but not enough that the company of ghosts is better than mine."
You groaned, "Jasoooonnnnn."
"I'm kidding," He said quickly, holding up a hand, "Mostly."
Jason let his hand drop back to his side, the last trace of his half-assed joking slipping away as quiet settled between the two of you again. He shoved his hands into the pockets of his hoodie like that might prevent him from doing something stupid.
"Can I ask you something?" You asked. How many times have you said that in the past few months? Too many for him to count.
"When do you not?"
"Shush," You huffed, biting the inside of your cheek before continuing, "Before Ethiopia...what did you want to tell me when you got back?"
Jason froze. And not subtly at all. It was like he had just been electrocuted and stuck in mid-air, ready to fall on any moment.
"That's...ancient history," He muttered.
You shook your head, "It's not to me."
He let out a breath through his nose, a humourless huff that tried and failed to be a laugh, "You really know how to pick locations for emotional ambushes, you know that?"
"Stop joking, Jason."
"Sorry," He muttered.
For a moment he just stayed quiet again, avoiding your insistent glare as to not to cave. But of course, it's you, so he inevitably did.
"I was gonna tell you that I was in love with you."
The words hit you like a punch to the chest.
Your breath left you in a shaky rush, lungs burning as your heart stuttered like it had forgotten how to beat properly. You stared at him as you waited for the follow-up, the joke, the sarcasm—just anything.
But it didn't come.
Jason swallowed hard, his adam's apple bopping, "The original plan was to just say it and get it off my chest before I wimped out. Then...y'know. I was gonna go get my ass kicked overseas and come back praying you still felt the same."
A broken laugh slipped out of you before you could stop it, "That was your big plan? Confess your feelings and then immediately flee to another continent?"
He snorted weakly, "Hey, I was fifteen."
You stepped closer without thinking, only a couple inches away from being chest-to-chest now, and Jason was already preparing himself for your rejection.
"Does that still apply?" You asked softly, "You loving me?"
For a second, he looked like he might bolt.
Instead, he scoffed and turned away again, shoulders curling inward defensively, "C'mon. That was before everything. Before I–" He gestured vaguely between him and the grave, "I'm not exactly a great idea anymore."
Your stomach dropped as Jason kept going, words tumbling out faster now, "You deserve someone normal. Or, well, at least someone less complicated. I mean, shit– you could have anyone you wanted, you're gorgeous. I mean– whatever. I'm just a mess. I come with way too much for you to have to–"
"Jason," You butt in, voice cracking despite your best efforts.
He stopped, slowly taking in your expression. Your eyes were bright in the low light, glassy with unshed tears, your expression caught between hope and hurt. The sight of it hit harder than any collapsing building ever had.
"Oh. Shit."
You hugged your arms around yourself, shoulders curling in, "I just wanted to know. You didnt have to make it sound like you regret it."
"That's not–" He scrubbed a hand over his face, frustrating written all over his face, "Shit. That's not what I meant. That's the opposite of what I meant."
"Then what do you mean?"
He stared at you for a long second, committing you to memory incase this was the last time you ever let him see you.
"I'm still in love with you," He said finally, "Never stopped. I tried to. And failed. Miserably."
You grinned, tears finally spilling over, "Really?"
That did it.
Jason broke, pulling you into his chest without thinking, one arm wrapping tight around your shoulders like he was terrified you'd fly away if he dared to loosen his grip, "God. 'm such an idiot."
You laughed against his collarbone, "Yeah."
He let out a shakey huff that would have been a sob if he didnt choke it back, his thumb brushing slow, grounding circles into your arm like he needed the reassurance that this was real.
After a moment you pulled back just enough to look up at him, "So...hypothetically..."
He eyed you suspiciously, "I've never liked that tone."
"Can we practice kissing?"
"Practice," He repeated with a laugh.
"Yeah," You nodded, entirely serious, "I mean– neither of us have done it. I don't really like monkeys all that much, and you're too much of a loner–"
"Okay, nope," He cut in immediately, snorting despite himself, "Don't finish that sentence."
You pouted, "Jaaaaaasonnnnn."
He smiled then—small and crooked. The kind of smile you hadn't seen on him in years.
He leaned down just enough for his forehead to meet yours, "I would love to kiss you. But maybe not ten feet from my own grave."
"Yeah...fair."
"Tell you what," He said softly, thumb tipping your chin up with gentle familiarity, "We get outta here and go somewhere less haunted. Then we can practice kissing like you oh-so-want."
Your lips curved, "Deal."
Jason squeezed your hand, lacing his fingers through yours as he tugged you away from the grave.
Holy shit. Holy shit. Holy shit. He just managed to confess to you—the girl that has literally haunted his dreams for ten years. What kind of miracles did he do in a past life?

Heh…UMM I REALLY LIKE YOUR WORK A STUFF BUT LIKE IF YOU’RE UP FOR SUGGESTIONS FOR YOUR KRYPTONIAN READER SERIES I HAVE AN IDEA😼☝️. so like basically Reader just takes Jason around on like a flying trip or smth. YOU DONT HAVE TO AT ALL, LOVE YOUR WORK AND TAKE CARE OF YOUR MENTAL HEALTHᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ
⤷ ゛FLY HIGH ˎˊ˗
JASON quickly realised he should have negotiated terms before going on this adventure. That was most definitely his first mistake.
The second was trusting a Kryptonian who had just discovered humans can't breathe in different altitudes and had immediately taken that as a moment to test a theory.
"Okay. Okay! I'm so serious, put me down!" Jason shouted, already regretting every life choice that led him to this exact moment.
You were hovering a good thirty feet above the nearest rooftop, one arm snug around his waist, the other pointed vaguely forward like you were out for a leisurely evening stroll instead of defying several laws of gravity.
"Nope," You cheered, "You said you wanted to see the city from above, anyways."
"I most definitely said that as a hypothetical."
"You said, and I quote 'Oh yeah, I've always wandered what Gotham looks like from a birds-eye view'," You mocked.
Jason scoffed, "Yeah, from like, the tippy-top of Wayne enterprises. With my feet on something solid."
The wind picked up as you angled higher, Gotham unfolding beneath you like a map, neon veins of traffic and lamps the only illumination beneath the smoggy clouds. It was pretty in a gloomy way.
But Jason had no care for beauty right now. His grip tightened just a fraction, forearm locking even tighter around your shoulder as his boots dangled uselessly in open air.
"Oh my Rao," You laughed delightedly, "Why are you clinging to me this much?"
"I'm not clinging!" He shouted back through his teeth, "I'm just maintaining a secure hold because you apparently think this is totally fine and normal."
"You've been shot. Stabbed. Blown away."
"None of those involved the impending doom of falling forever."
"We're not even that high."
Jason looked down, immediately regretting it as a small shriek escaped his mouth, "Why would you even say anything?!"
You giggled, adjusting your hold to keep him study, "You okay?"
"Yes," He lied immediately, "Perfectly fine. Dandy some may say. I'm loving this so much. Great date idea, honey. Perfect ten out of ten."
"Awh," You gleamed, "You called it a date."
He paused, "Shush."
You rolled gently midair, not enough to scare him (except it totally was somehow). Jason made a noise that was deeply undignified and immediately buried his helmeted face against your shoulder.
"Oh my Rao," You wheezed, "Jason!"
"Stop moving!" He snapped, "I swear to God if you do a flip I will-"
You slowed then, drifting into a wide, lazy arc over the harbour. The city noise softened up here, air cooler and calmer. Jason's grip loosened slightly once he realised you weren't actively trying to traumatise him (for now, at least).
"You okay?" You asked more softly.
He hesitated, "Yeah. I mean, I hate every single aspect of this. But I'm good."
You landed a moment later on a quiet rooftop overlooking the water, boots touching down so gently it barely made a sound. Jason stayed exactly where you had placed him for half a beat longer before stepping back and rolling his shoulders like he needed to remind himself how to stand normally.
"Never," He began firmly, pointing at you, "Ever, am I doing that again without ten layers of pillows taped to my body and without being strapped to you."
"Awh, you were so cute, you screamed so much."
"I didn't scream."
"Yeah you did," You giggled.
"No I didn't!" He whined, arms flailing exasperatedly.
"You did!" You said sweetly, "Very clearly, right into my ear."
He dragged a hand down his helmet, "I'm begging you to just forget about that."
You stepped closer, grin softening into something warmer, "So cute."
He snorted, "So happy that my fear amuses you."
With a huff he lifted his helmet just enough for his mouth to show, the city lights catching the edge of the jagged scar running along his mouth, "You enjoy this way too much."
"I enjoy being with you," You corrected gently.
That shut him up.
Jason looked at you for a long second, something unguarded flickering across his face before he leaned in, resting his helmet against your forehead.
"Next time we travel around Gotham," He murmured, "We take my bike."
"Deaaaalll," You smiled.
He kissed you then, slow and careful like he was making up for the years of lost time, one gloved hand settled at your waist as you kissed back. Whether it was grounding himself or you, you weren't to sure. But it was sweet.

OKAY THIS WOULD BE REALLY CUTE BUT LIKE, So reader and jason are hanging out more in there hero identities or whatever AND THE PAPARAZZI OR PHOTOGRAPHERS OR NEWS WRITERS NOTICE THIS, stay with me, and like gossip goes around a shuz on how they together THINK ABOUT IT😼☝️
⤷ ゛PAPARAZZI ˎˊ˗
The Daily Planet bullpen had never been quiet in all of the four years you worked here. But today, there was a very specific tension in the air—one you felt prickling along your spine.
You were seated at your desk, glasses perched low on your nose, and one foot hooked around the chair leg as you hunched toward your screen.
You highlighted a sentence of Clarks article, being stuck editing it again, muttering to yourself for some form of entertainment. It got really boring here sometimes.
"Why did you use four adjectives to say egregious..." You sigh.
Behind you, you could most definitely hear their whispers. Sometimes its like Clark forgets you have the same abilities—and that majority of the time yours and Kara's are stronger from actually growing up on Krypton.
"I'm just saying, Clark, its definitely her," Lois whispered.
Clark replied just as quietly, "Yeah, but, you never know. Could be a shapeshifter."
"And Red Hood would just kiss a shapeshifter that looks just like one of Superman's cousins?"
Your fingers paused mid-keystroke, but you didn't turn, attempting to remain inconspicuous.
Who knows, maybe Jason is cheating on you with Kon? One can only dream that as you work hes bouncing from Gothamite to Gothamite.
For now, you're just gonna work until Kon messages you to tell you him and Tim broke up and hes actually with Red Hood now because you're clearly not discovering his identity–
Oh, you actually forgot about that.
"Hey," Clark said, making you jump out of your skin.
You looked up, offering your most earnest smile, "Hi! I just finished tightening the third paragraph. I think if we move that quote up, it would add urgency–"
"Got anything you want to tell me?"
Your smile froze, "...No?"
Clark studied you for a long moment. He didn't seem angry—if anything he looked sort of disappointed in the same way Martha looked at you when you attempted (and failed) to bake a cake with Jon.
He pulled out his phone, and you didn't miss the way Lois leaned back in her chair spun towards you, mouth quirking like she'd been waiting for this all day.
Then Clark turned the screen towards you–
Starshine and Red Hood. On a rooftop. Kissing. Most definitely from last night's flight around Gotham.
"...Huh," You said as you rubbed your chin as if thinking like the most esteemed philosopher.
"Huh," Clark echoed.
"Photosh–"
"No. Lois checked."
You inhaled, then exhaled, and then slowly stood, pushing your chair in to remain polite.
"I wanna go home," You said as you began walking away.
"Hey–!" Clark followed immediately, long legs eating up the distance, "You can't just leave your job!" He whisper-shouted.
"You do it all the time!" You whispered back.
"For important things!"
"This is so important."
The lift doors loomed ahead as Clark continued nagging on at you.
"Stop avoiding the very obvious question," Clark finally said, lowering his voice as you hit the button to call the large metal box.
"I wanna, though."
"That's now how adults handle things."
You turned just enough to look at him, "I watched my planet explode. I think I get a pass."
The lift dinged, and as you stepped inside, Clark caught the door with his hand.
"Does...he make you happy?" He asked quietly, no accusation. Just concern.
"Yeah," You murmur.
And with that he let the doors shut.
The Kent farm was sat on the edge of Kansas, decorated with fields of crops and the cutest little yellow house.
You touched down on the edge of the property, shoes barely kissing the dirt, and let your shoulders sag as the wind moved lazily through the cornfields.
"Johnathan?" You called, "Martha?"
No answer. Strange. Martha always answered—if not with her voice than with a large hug or the faint pitter patter of her feet as she brings you a plate of the newest concoction shes mixed together.
You tilted your head. There were no slow heartbeats in the house, no humming kettle, and no familiar warmth lounging on an armchair.
You climbed the porch steps anyways, knocking once out of forced habit before pushing the door open. The house was immaculate, meaning Martha had just completed her monthly clean of the place before going to the markets. That makes sense.
But that was when you felt another heartbeat, faster and more erratic.
"Kon-El?"
There was a half a second pause before he took a deep inhale to shout as loud as he could, "Up here!"
"Ow!" You shouted back, hands over your ears as an attempt to still the ringing, pausing as you made it halfway up the steps.
A second heartbeat. One you hear every night after spending time with your lovely Jaybird.
You groaned quietly, because now you're stuck in this situation. Running away suddenly is suspicious, and sadly, so is blasting through the cieling. You opted in the end for neither and finished the climb with all the grace of a zombie.
When you pushed the door open the first thing you saw was Kon sprawled on his bed, hands laced behind his head and boots resting on the duvet—Martha would lose her mind right now if she saw this.
But you don't care about that. What you care about right now is the disgustingly Red Robin shaped figure sat at Kon's desk, chair turned to face the door like he most definitely deliberately had planned upon your entry.
"Oh," You hummed, feigning innocence, "You're here."
Tim's mouth curved into a small frown, "Wow. That's the greeting I get after you make out with Gotham's newest vigilante on a roof?"
Kon hissed through his teeth, "Oooooookayyyy maybe I should–"
"Stay," You told him immediately, "Please. What if he tries to kill me?"
Kon groaned, "Fine."
Tim stood, making you want to die, and stepped closer, eyes flickering over you as if searching for any cracks of guilt.
"You were supposed to be helping us identify Red Hood, not publicly confirm his type in women."
You crossed your arms defensively, "You're the one who wanted me to use his feelings towards me in the first place, how do you know I just suddenly lost all empathy and decided to do it?"
"Don't," He snapped, the calm cracking just enough to show the frustration underneath, "Don't do that. I saw the photo."
Kon raised a finger, "If I may–"
"You may not," Tim cut him off.
"Yep, my bad."
Tim turned to you, arms crossed, "You know something."
You scoffed a little too fast, "About what?"
"About him," Tim mocked, "You don't just casually date vigilantes. Not without digging into who they are first."
You forced a laugh that rang hollow even in your own ears, "You'd be shocked. You gotham guys seem to have very low standards."
"That's not funny," He huffed, "This isn't a joke. We still know practically nothing about this guy. He could be dangerous, what if he works for Lex?"
Something tight and painful pulled at your chest at that. Seriously? The guy who got so worried the one time you faked a really bad injury he didn't speak to you for two weeks? The man who literally kills criminals every night? Seriously?
"He's not some grand conspiracy," You said carefully, "I don't know who he is outside of Red Hood. I know pieces, but that's it."
Tim observed you closely, eyes sharp as he searched for cracks in your words.
"I think its just like– a fling. He makes me laugh, and we kiss. That's it really. And he doesn't owe anyone an unmasking."
"A fling," He repeated flatly, "With Red Hood."
"It's not like its a crime," You muttered.
He ran a hand through his hair, frustration bleeding through yet again, "You don't get it. If you do know who he is and you're protecting him–"
"I'm not," You cut in, "He doesn't trust me enough for that yet, only enough to show me his jaw."
Tim held your gaze for a long moment, detective instincts warring with something quieter, more human, "If this whole thing blows up...its on you.'
You nodded without hesitation, "That's fair."
Kon cut in with the loud boom of his hands clapping together, "Sweet, who wants pizza?"
Tim shot him a look, "Seriously?"
Kon just shrugged, frowning a little when Tim turned toward the door, despite the fact he was only going out to get some air. He knew all of his tells—if he was trying to leave he'd just pin him to the floor until he gave in.
Suddenly a pair of eyes were on you, and you tilted your head a little to come face-to-face with your cousin, "You know you're a really bad liar, right?"
"Clearly I am if I just tricked a detective," You gleamed, sitting on his legs.
"Ow!" He whined, practically screeching when he accidently hit his head against the backing of the bed.
"You're so dumb."

Slutshaming women is not ok Slutshaming Alexander Hamilton is totally ok Tumblr logic
he cheated. on his wife.
he’s also been dead for several hundred years this is the funniest post ive ever read in my life
fave things about this post:
the idea that thousands of people are calling alexander hamilton a slut
calling any founding father a slut
the idea that people are SHAMING Alexander Hamilton for being Such A Slut he is being SHAMED for being such a naughty little tart, SPREADING HIS LEGS FOR EVERYONE IN CONGRESS
that this was probably prompted by people expression dissaproval for Alexander Hamilton cheating on his wife - that the OP thinks “slut shaming” and “Isnt it gross that he cheated on his wife” are the same thing
Alexander Hamilton has been dead for 210
210 slutty, slutty years
the way that this is presented in such a CHECKMATE SJWS way when they’re talking about a founding father who cheated on his wife and has been DEAD FOR 210 YEARS
the fact that the words “Slutshaming” and “Alexander Hamilton” have been used in the same sentence
i mean just apply what we’d traditionally think of as “slut shaming” to Alexander Hamilton.
His frock coat is too tight, his breaches are so short, have you SEEN how often he powders his wig??? I heard he gave Thomas Jefferson a handy behind the stables AND that he got fingered by John Hancock
i barely know who alexander hamilton is
date of origin: 2014
The Hamilton discourse extends beyond time.
Real conversation I had based on this post a couple days ago: MY AUNT: I recorded the American Revolution show on PBS to watch this weekend. ME: Make sure you yell “Slut” whenever Alexander Hamilton is onscreen. MY MOTHER: Wouldn’t we also need to yell that at Thomas Jefferson? ME: Oh, we yell much worse things at Thomas Jefferson.
The entire Artemis Fowl series is actually proof that money can't buy you the willpower to exercise and that's the kind of honesty I'm looking for in storytelling
Gothamites narrating Batman, the Robins and Allies like a nature documentary prt VIII
Fake Attenborough: The cold snap is unseasonable, Mr Freeze has been over working it off late. But look, there amongst the snow...
Robin: *popping out of the snow like a daisy*
Fake Attenborough: The young bird is not prepared for this weather, with his short trousers and tunic with only a cape for warmth.
Robin: *visibly shivering*
Fake Attenborough: But here, the greater Gotham Catwoman has appeared. While it is known most cats would glady snap up a bird this small and vulnerable, this cat proves to be less interested in hunting but gathering the little bird close for warmth.
Fake Attenborough: The Bat comes on the scene. He regards his little bird for any sign of harm. Satisfied there is no harm done, he fold the little guy and Catwoman under his cape where they both will be warm again. For Bat, Cat and Robin, this proves to be a successful manoeuvre.
Batman, at a crime scene: There’s about three walking wounded, one casualty. Admittedly, Commissioner, it might have been worse if Superman had not provided back up.
Commissioner Gordon: Can I ask what he’s doing?
Batman:
Superman: *munching, crunching, grating sounds*
Batman: Superman, what are you eating? What is in your mouth?
Superman: *starts chewing on the gun faster*
Batman: Superman, get that fucking - You’re going to - That’s the fucking evidence - Fuck. Commissioner, one of these days one of my partners are going to be normal.
Commissioner Gordon: *stares out of the panel like he’s on The Office*
collinlock16 finds a lost d3rlord3 (i like to think since d3rlord3 saw the king in yellow, he refuses to speak and thus his voice is scratchy and raw)
Why I Believe D3rlord3 is Really Smart
okay so i've sen alot of ppl talking about how the comparisons of D3rlord3 to Light Yagami are baseless and wrong and whatever that's your opinion but i see these ppl saying theres only a few moments where we see him do anything smart at all (solving the cipher and the "double" trap) so i thought I'd put together a post sharing all the moments i noticed. and what i think his thought process might have been when going through this.
mind you i'm taking this from the footage from the google drive and am likely to miss some.
The Yellow Theatre
Out of many forms of dreamscapes, The Yellow Theatre is one The King in Yellow favours when confronting Richard. This Dreamscape is described as an endless stage with sounds of cheers and applause but seemingly no physical viewers. The King looms over all, a part of the theatre (or it is a part of him), and the players, actors, dancers, and others that reside in it are The King's to control. Like puppets on a string. Including Richard as well.
