Ah yes. He figured this sort of movie would be her bag. What he hadn’t expected, though, that it would still be his. He had been planning on teasing her all throughout, what with little kisses here and there, wandering hands and roaming fingers. But her warmth combined with the wide bevy of emotions the movie always made him feel kept him enthralled in the plot. This was… nice, actually. This felt good.

However, he was taken somewhat aback by her reaction. While he knew Koizumi would enjoy it, he wasn’t expecting anything quite like this. She had been a quite strong person, confident and forthright. Could it be she had a quite sensitive side underneath? He gave a chuckle all the same, though, embracing her tightly as he planted a kiss on her. It was endearing, really, to see her so vulnerable.

Koizumi… Are you gonna be ok?

{ Wow, she didn't realize she was making such a fool of herself. If she could read his thoughts she scream, of course she had a sensitive side you dolt. Why else would be this silly little scene make her feel so...vulnerable. It was weird for her to say that, but it was true. Mahiru Koizumi was a normal girl who gets a little teary eyed when watching a romcom with her boyfriend, what a shocker. }

{ Okay, so there was another reason why she got sniffly and that was because...the little moments she saw of Jamie and Aurélia reminded her of all the romantic stories of her mother, the japanese war photographer and her father, the European enigma. Her mother, when they were still together, would tell Koizumi about how they met or little date stories and oh man did five year old Koizumi think it was SO COOL. As a child, and to be honest even now, Koizumi wanted that fairytale romance. You know, the kind where you could get diabetes just thinking about how sickeningly sweet it is. Granted as Koizumi got older this desire was quickly shoved in the back of her mind. }

O-Of course I'm going to be okay, a girl can get emotional over a movie if she wants too y'know!

{ There was that nagging sound again, and Koizumi felt a little bad that she snapped. So to sort of make up for it she brought one of her hands up and cupped Leon's face, slowly and nervously brought her lips to his, planting a soft but deep kiss on him. }

The look on her face is telling of everything. In this business that he was in, reading people is a necessary skill. In this particular setting it may have been difficult to distinguish between either romantic or sexual frustrations, but the simple fact remained that she had some sort of stirrings underneath. Whether they were of the heart or loins remained to be seen.

Still, he walked right over to the DVD player, popping it in and taking the seat she had signaled for him. With a grin, he wrapped an arm around her, stroking her shoulder and tucking her in closer. Nothing devious yet, of course. Who wouldn’t want to snuggle their boyfriend and watch romcoms anyways?

Believe me, Koizumi. The thrilling has yet to take place. There’ll be plenty of time for that later.

{ Koizumi rolled her eyes. Of course he would make a dirty comment like that, there was no surprise there. However whatever criticism she had was suddenly shushed as the opening credits began to play. Suddenly the room was silent, both koizumi and leon too caught up in the film to bother one another. Koizumi snuggled closely against Leon, her head resting lightly on his shoulder as she attentively watched the romcom. }

{ A little time had passed and so far Koizumi had fallen in love with the film. The first story about the aging rocker and his manager made her smile, albeit the Billy Mack character reminded her little bit of Leon, though she dare not mention it aloud. The next one was...a little more emotionally confusing for Koizumi, she understood Jack pushing Juliet away for the sake of her's and Peter's relationship. It tug a little at her heart strings, but the ending was fairly worth it. While the two obviously didn't get together, at least they would seem to still be close friends...right? }

{ Finally it was when Koizumi came to the marriage proposal between Jamie and Aurélia that she realized she really, really loved this movie. She squeezed her boyfriends hand and cuddled against him even more, though she didn't really realize that she had pressed herself so closely to him. All she wanted right now was her boyfriend because these tears couldn't stop welling up in her eyes. }

And there went the desired effect. While she was already plenty cute to Leon, seeing her get flustered like that from a simple kiss put him for a spin. He gave her a chuckle as she took his hand and lead him off.

Well, I figure I might as well give you the full boyfriend experience, y’know? What’s the fun in going on like this if there’s no actual courtship?

The living room itself wasn’t a bad setup at all. The couch, however, was definitely calling him. Had it been anyone else, the first thing he would have done when they sat together would have been to immediately start putting the moves on them, but Koizumi was different, special. With a girl like that, especially a girlfriend like that, the key was to take things slow and wait for them to say something. Given her response to the kiss, however, it was either going to be a while or she’d hardly be able to say it at all.

So. Let’s get this movie in and then feel free to use me as a pillow. Among other things, of course.

{ Christ this guy knew how to wriggle himself into her mind a mess with her didn't he. She didn't want to deny it but, she sort of liked how romantic he would be. Certainly was a nice change to see in him, she typically thought that he was the type of man who would try to rush romance just to get down to where the two would be this sweaty mess of OH MY GOD KOIZUMI STOP. Sweetheart your cheeks are burning the more that idea sits in your head, calm down girl. }

{ Alright so she didn't want to really admit it but yes she had thought about that future aspect of them. He was a man of needs and while he worked in a brothel for a living, at some point he'd want to see you, his girlfriend, in all of her glory, whatever that really meant. Koizumi was a little nervous seeing that well, she wasn't so sure when was a good time for that. She knew that right now, at this exact moment, she just wanted a night where she could get used to him, so there weren't any guarantees about THAT just yet. However there will be at some point in the future where....}

{ oh my god koizumi you've been ranting in your head on whether or not you want to fuck the guy and leaving him waiting for your replies. Get your act together. She huffed as she took a seat on the couch, patting a open spot next to her signaling Leon to "sit here please" }

And I thank you for giving me this thrilling experience Kuwata, you're a true sweetheart. Now, stop standing around pop in that movie already, after all the praise you given it I'm pretty excited to finally watch it.
