Remus looked to him and cocked his head a little. âDo you think you would settle down if you found someone like that? I mean⊠Judging by what youâve said, you donât really strike me as someone who would.â He mused carefully, not wanting to make things awkward. He chuckled softly and shook his head. âReally? Everyone you flirt with is always so quick to jump you and tear your clothes off?â Remusâ tone was teasing before his cheeks flushed a little. He shrugged as he looked down at his fingers. âI uh⊠I donât know, Iâve never really thought of it. I havenât had many dates so I hadnât ever had to think âoh okay this fifth date is the time!â. I want it to be⊠Special.â Remus mumbled the last word as he frowned. He looked back towards Freddy as he started explaining his game. Remus smiled softly, sitting there and admiring the other male. No matter how much he tried to play it down, Remus could see how passionate Freddy was. âSo long as you ring or text before turning up next time.â He teased before smiling. âIt sounds like a really great game, Freddy. I canât wait to give it a try! You should definitely bring a copy over. Whenever you have a chance.â Remus chuckled a little before nodding. âDefinitely. Itâs my new mission in life. To give you nightmaresâ He made a ghostly noise and wiggled his fingers before giggling. âI mean, all joking aside, horror that gives people nightmares or makes them scared after is something I want to do. I donât know whether Iâve become desensitised but horror isnât scaring me or affecting me like it used to, itâs all the same.â He sighed before frowning. âIt didnât go well? Iâm sorry⊠Maybe you can work at something else though!â Remus offered a kind smile. âDo you enjoy this little town though?â He shrugged a little and pulled a face. âI think it mightâve been an edited Taylor Swift lyric now you mention it⊠I donât listen to her. Iâve gone off her over time but I guess that stuck.â Remus chuckled as he raised a brow. âIs that so? And what cooler music do you listen to then?â He smiled as he pulled his sleeve down again. âPyramid Head is a⊠Monster from the game and movie Silent Hill. Heâs pretty badass and has the look to prove it.â He smiled shyly, the blush only darkening a little. âThank you but Iâm not sure anything would look great on me.â Remus quickly took another mouthful if only to stop himself talking. Remus shrugged a little as he glanced at Freddy. âWhat can I say? I like holding peopleâs hands and cuddles⊠I like being close to people. I always have.â He mused before nodding. He let out a soft laugh. âYou definitely should figure that out before you go to get something done, for sure. Rose and Poppy? Theyâre beautiful names. Iâm sure if you donât have an exact design in mind, the tattoo artist will be able to come up with a few ideas. Theyâre always very good at it.â He smiled when he noticed Freddyâs expression. âAre you close with your sisters?â Remus giggled quietly. âPlease, I may adore horror but I couldnât hurt a fly. I have a spare room if you want to stay in there. It was supposed to be a room for my movies but thereâs a bed in there so itâs⊠A bit messy but itâll do. Iâm sure itâll be more comfortable for you too!â He offered with a small smile. âFreddy, dearest, everyone has their flaws. Whether you want to believe it or not.â he smiled and tapped the maleâs nose. Remus turned his attention back to the laptop as he returned the video to the beginning, editing a few things on the way. âIt was a while ago so no, you donât have to worry about that. Sheâs not from around here⊠But why would she try to fight you?â He asked with a raised brow as he turned to look at Freddy. Remusâ smile turned shy as he felt the heat rising up his neck and cheeks. The compliments clearly affecting him but not as much as Freddy moving nearer. His own eyes flickered to the maleâs lips before he let out a small laugh. âI dunno⊠Guess I thought there were better people out there for you to give your attention to.â Remus licked his lips a little before his eyes moved to look into Freddyâs. âAre you trying to kiss me?â
âI... I donât knowâ he admitted, with a much more serious tone and expression than he was used to using. He wanted to go on to explain how he wasnât sure anyone would like the real him enough to want him - at least they hadnât when he was younger, since then he hadnât really let anyone get close enough to try but he stopped himself. Being emotionally vulnerable wasnât something that came to Freddy easily and while he strangely felt as though he could tell Remus anything, he had to remind himself that the two were near enough strangers. Quickly snapping out of the more solemn expression, Freddyâs signature mischievous looking smile was once again parting his lips. âYes. Everyone. Clearly youâre just one of a kindâ he said, his eyes sparkling with charm. âRight, I get that.â Freddy was way past the point of holding sex on any kind of pedestal but he understood where the other was coming from. âBut surely it canât have been special every single time youâve had sex. You must have had one bad experienceâ he pried, clearly not reading between the lines of the otherâs words. âWhat - are you trying to suggest my company isnât a wonderful and welcomed surprise? Iâm hurt.â Remusâ approval over his game had Freddy smiling, not his usual devilish smirk but a more soft and genuine smile, and he nodded at the suggestion. The ghost noise had him letting out a sharp laugh, nudging Remusâ shoulder gently. âYou might be failing because that was more cute than scaryâ he pointed out, shaking his head but unable to shake the fond smile from his face. âThatâs good to know because once weâre married, you can be the one to go downstairs with a baseball bat if thereâs a strange noise in the middle of the nightâ he nodded, looking far too serious considering his suggestion. âMaybeâ he replied with a shrug, clearly not convinced that was possible. âI do. Itâs nice to be back with my family... and Iâm starting to enjoy this place a lot more after a recent encounter I made but,â He briefly pressed a finger too his lips, âI wonât tell you too much about that because I donât want to jinx it.â He crinkled his nose at the question, wracking his brains to come up with a better answer but eventually opting for the truth instead - not an option he often went with. âHonestly, Iâm clueless when it comes to music. I just listen to whatever is on the radio when I tune in... what about you?â he asked, looking up at Remus with genuine interest. âAwesome. Youâll have to show me him sometime, you might even convince me to watch the movie if youâre persuasive enoughâ he said with a small wiggle of his brows. âYou do, huh?â At the information, Freddy slowly moved his hand over to Remusâ as the other man spoke, his fingers drawing gentle circles on the otherâs palm before he eventually intertwined the two hands together. âJust getting ready for your movieâ he explained with a smirk, keeping their hands together but in a loose grip so that the other could pull away if he wanted to. âYeah I would probably just ask them to draw me something up, I think. That seems the best option. Oh yeah, weâre real close. Theyâre teenagers so theyâre a fucking pain in the ass most of the time but, I wouldnât change them for the worldâ he admitted shyly, feeling a little embarrassed to be showing that he cared about something. âDo you have siblings? - Yeah, okay, anywhere is good. Itâs probably a good idea I donât drive home now that Iâm on my third beer.â Freddy couldnât deny he was a little disappointed that he wasnât offered to share Remusâ bed but he knew that was for the best in the long run. Chuckling as the other tapped his nose, he sighed internally at the confirmation that his ex was long gone. âFor being interested in you, of course. I didnât feel like getting into any battles for your attentionâ he teased before shaking his head as Remus went on. âAre you always this hard on yourself? Clearly I donât agree.â Dragging his eyes away from the other maleâs lips, Freddy made eye contact with him before responding. âI might beâ he spoke slowly, their faces unbearably close by this point. âHow would you feel about that?â Freddy was never usually so hesitant when it came to this sort of thing. He either knew the other wantd to kiss him and went for it or picked p on the signs that they didnât and moved on to someone else - the latter being something he hadnât had to deal with all that often. But Remus was different. There was something about him that had the usual confident male feeling nervous, as though he had never even kissed anyone before.Â
remusft:
Remus smiled a little and coked his head to the side. âHm, is that what you enjoy doing then? Just⊠Having a bit of fun with people?â Heâd never been one to judge about that stuff, even if he wasnât all that interested in no strings attached. Remus had always viewed sexual things as special, not something he could easily give away. He chuckled a little. âHm, just a touch obvious but itâs okay.â Remus let out a playful scoff, raising a brow. âHard to get act? Is that really what you think of me?â But he couldnât help but grin, and blush, at the idea of them being perfect for each other. Words that tugged at his heart strings. Remus frowned a little, ready to question what he meant. His face lit up in a grin, clearly interested in what Freddy had to say. âNo, I donât have it but now I want to! Whatâs it about? Tell me!â He grinned and mentally told himself to calm down before he wound up grabbing his phone and ordered it. âMost the game I own are horror ones for obvious reasons but I enjoy a few others.â He nodded slowly and ate a little more of his food. âI suppose that makes sense. Do you still make games? Or are you too busy living in your life of luxury?â There was a teasing tone in his voice as he smiled. The fact they had a fair share in common made him feel warm. It had been a long time since heâd sat down like this and had a flowing conversation. Remus laughed nervously and his face and neck flushed once more. âUh huh well I have plenty of games to choose from.â He muttered.Remus nodded and put his hand on his heart. âIâm very sorry. How could I leave the men out? Theyâre surely handsome as hell and they do it so well!â He chuckled a little as he took another small sip of his beer. It was new but⊠He was warming to it. Remus grinned and shifted closer so that Freddy could get a better look at his arm. He nodded. âMhm, Iâm planning getting Pyramid Head from the Silent Hill franchise. Two out of the three I have right now are horror so I figured why not make it a theme?â He chuckled before shrugging. âI havenât decided yet though. But yes, I would love to go with you! Itâs always nice to have someoneâs hand to hold, depending on the place it can really hurt. What would you get?â Remus was a little taken aback by Freddyâs words and he paused to think about it. He chewed his lip before nodding. âOkay, fine. If youâre⊠If youâre that scared, you can stay. So long as you promise not to kill me in my sleep.â He teased and moved to grab his laptop, setting it up as he sat back down. âPerfect is a strong word and everyone has their faults.â His smile faltered a little and he sighed. Remus tapped in his password. âThe only heart Iâve broken, or supposedly broken, was that of my ex-girlfriend before I came out. She uh⊠She didnât take the news of me being gay very well, said I was using her. Then after that, I didnât have a relationship for a while. Things just kept getting in the way. So only the one.â He smiled towards him before catching his eyes. âNot a problem⊠Just curious as to why youâd try to win me over of all people.â Remus turned back to his laptop and set up the video.
âPretty much. Until I meet someone who has me wanting more, that isâ he shrugged. By this point, Freddy wasnât sure anyone could convince him to settle down, he didnât think he was that type of guy. âWell considering most people I flirt this much with are usually ripping my clothes off by this point, Iâd say hard to get is pretty accurate. Then again, you did say you werenât a sex on the first date kind of guy, didnât you? What is it - third date? Fifth? This has at least got to count as our second, I thinkâ he said with a teasing smirk, one that made it clear he was joking. Remusâ excited expression had Freddy smiling, touched by how interested the other seemed to hear about his work. âIâll give you one - itâll give me another chance to show up at your door, at least. Itâs a first person shooter game set in the medieval town of Falconâs Hollow. Itâs... you know, just your basic combat game with different tasks and targets along the way. Itâd be easier to show you than tell youâ he said, playing down his excitement as much as he could but there was a clear sparkle in his eyes as he talked about the beloved project. âGod, youâre just determined to give me nightmares with all this horror talk, arenât you?â Shaking his head, he chuckled quietly. âNo, I only made the one. We tried for a sequel but... it didnât go so well. Sadly, my life of luxury is on pause, hence my return to this little townâ he sighed although, Freddy had to admit, this evening was the first time he wasnât cursing his move. Keeping his eyes locked on Remusâ face as the blush spread over his cheeks, Freddy just about suppressed the urge to gush over how cute he looked and instead turned his attention to the food. âIs that a Taylor Swift lyric?... not that I listen to Taylor Swift. I have much cooler music taste than that, obviouslyâ he quickly backtracked, not sounding at all believable. âIâm going to be honest, I have no idea what Pyramid Head is but Iâm sure, whatever it is, itâll look great. I canât imagine anything not looking great on youâ he complimented with ease, reaching over to grab himself another beer from the pack. âYou really want to hold my hand, donât you? First the movie and now the tattooâ he teased, lifting his eyebrows at the other with a small chuckle. âI donât know, actually... thatâs probably something I should think about before making the decision. I did want to somehow incorporate a poppy and a rose into whatever I get somehow, those are my sisterâs namesâ he explained, a fond smile on his lips. There wasnât anything Freddy cared about more than his sisters. âI think I should be more worried about you killing me since youâre so obsessed with movies of that kind. Donât worry, I can stay on the couchâ he said, sensing the slight shock in the otherâs expression. âNope, not me. Donât have any.â He was nothing if not persistent. âOh, thatâs rough. How long ago was that?â he asked curiously, taking a sip from his newly opened beer. âI donât have to worry about her showing up and trying to fight me still, do I? What do you mean?â The question had him leaning forward slightly, slowly turning his head towards Remus. âYouâre sweet, funny, incredibly sexy,â he began, leaning forward a little more with each word. âWhy wouldnât I be interested?â His eyes dropped to linger on Remusâ lips for a few seconds, heart pounding in his chest but he managed to hold himself back, even if he wanted nothing more than to kiss him.Â

Remus couldnât help but smile a little when Freddy felt the need to let him know that. He nodded slowly. âItâs all over, huh? Is that why youâre here; to move onto me?â Remus chuckled, teasing Freddy but his cheeks still flushed a little when he thought about it. He put a hand over his heart. âIâm a very trustworthy person. Always have been.â He grinned a little. Remus gasped a little excitedly. âI love Spider-Man but the X-Men? Yes! I donât usually meet many people who like those but⊠Damn. Theyâre so great. Video games? Do you still play? I have a couple⊠Not that I play them often, Iâm usually given my spare time to filming but if you ever wanna play together that could be fun!â He smiled, dimples clear as he nodded. Remus didnât really believe that the only reason Freddy came over was âcause he was hungry. Whatever the reason was⊠He was glad it happened. Remus shrugged a little. âCâmon, Iâm not blind. I may be a little shy but even I can see that youâre hot. Iâm pretty sure everyone around here can. Must be why you get on so well with the ladies, no?â He smiled, wiggling his brows despite the pink tinge to his cheeks. Remus chuckled. âDown boy. Itâs not in a private place.â He pulled up his left sleeve to reveal the Freddy Krueger tattoo on his inner arm. Remus tilted his arm to give the other a better view. âI have two other complete tattoos if youâre interested in seeing them⊠Iâm also working on another.â He mused, chewing the inside of his lip. Remus nodded in understanding. âI know the feeling. My mum was a bit of a wuss when it came to horror. Silly really given both her husband and son made it.â He chuckled sadly, shaking his head. Remus looked up with a raised brow but smiled. âIf you truly want to watch it, Iâll hold your hand and cuddle you if you wish.â Remus chuckled and rested into his seat. âKeep calling yourself perfection and Iâll have to throw the shoe.â He smiled, shaking his head. âIf anyoneâs virginal, itâs me. Not you, mister. Oh? You want to win me over?â
âDefinitelyâ he confirmed quickly and with a nod. âIt was barely anything to begin with, honestly. Just... a bit of funâ he said, though he wasnât sure that was the best choice of words. âAm I really that obvious?â Lifting his brow, Freddy smirked over at Remus. There was something about seeing Remus blush that had Freddyâs expression instantly softening and he was quick to laugh at the otherâs excitement too. âLook at that, weâre a match made in heaven. You might as well just drop the hard to get act now, weâre clearly perfect for each otherâ he teased, sighing happily. âI actually havenât played any in a long timeâ he admitted with a frown, though his face lit up a little at the mention of Remus owning a few. âDo you have mine?â he asked with a raised brow before quickly realising the other would be clueless to what he meant. âOh, I made a video game a few years back. Falconâs Hollow? It did fairly wellâ he explained with a shrug though there was a small hint of pride in his smile. âBut... yeah, once that took off I sort of fell out of the habit of gaming. Got a little too wrapped up in my new life, you know?â Again, the fact that Freddy was revealing so much about himself was strange and, if he had time to realise it, maybe even enough to have him wanting to run away. âBut Iâd be happy to play with you whenever you wantâ he said, only realising the innuendo behind his words after heâs spoken them and quickly wiggling his eyebrows. âYou make a good point. And men! Donât forget the men. I do so well with both, it can be a curse sometimesâ he sighed dramatically. After chuckling, Freddyâs attention was quickly taken with the reveal of the tattoo, nodding in approval. âI love it.â Unable to help himself, he took the moment to hold onto Remusâ arm a little longer than necessary under the rouse it was only to get better look at the tattoo. âAwesome design. You are? Maybe I should come with you. Iâve always wanted to get a tattoo, Iâm surprised Iâve never taken the plunge after a night on the beer actuallyâ he laughed, reaching forward to finish off the last few sips of his drink. âLetâs watch itâ he said a little too quickly, not wanting to let the moment pass. âBut if Iâm really scared then you have to let me stay the night.â It was ridiculous, really. The two barely knew each other and yet Freddy didnât feel at all embarrassed by the suggestion, somehow feeling as though heâd known the other a lot longer than he had. âWhat? Itâs not like Iâm lyingâ he pouted, fluttering his eyelashes dramatically. âSure. You know, I have a sneaky suspicion youâre not as innocent as you make out. Someone as attractive as you must have their fair share of broken hearts behind them, I refuse to believe otherwise.â Nodding, his eyes quickly found Remusâ. âYeah, I do. You got a problem with that?â
remusft:
Remus chuckled softly and pretended to zip his lips. âOkay, Iâm sorry. It wasnât a nice gesture. It was just⊠You being a good friend. Or really an excuse to see your lady friend.â He teased, gesturing towards the door. He wiggled his brows playfully. Whatever the gesture was for, Remus was pretty glad to hang out with Freddy again. He held his hands up before crossing his heart. He smiled brightly, shaking his head. âI wonât tell anyone. Your secret is completely safe with me, promise. A comic book nerd, huh? Who or what was your favourite then? Sounds like your mum had a pretty good idea. I wouldâve loved that.â He laughed quietly. Remus giggled a little and caught the cushion. âI wasnât making fun of you at all! I think it was sweet of you to offer getting me noodles. The fact youâd go even more out of your way to do something for little me.â He grinned, perhaps a little too wide and cheesy. But he couldnât help it. Not many people would do something like this. Remus rolled his eyes playfully. âOh please⊠Everyone knows the hot guy gets killed near the beginning. So I wouldnât worry too much about that.â He smirked, laughing soon after. âYes, horror. My dad got me hooked on the stuff from a young age. He⊠He did what I do. Wrote and made horrors⊠Funnily enough, you have the same name as one of my favourite horror characters too! I even have a tattoo dedicated to him.â Remusâ cheeks flushed a little, having not really admitted this stuff to many people. He chewed his lip as he shrugged. âItâs uh, itâs more jump scares right now. So a little scary, yeah. Itâs just whether you want to or not.â He smiled and put his drink down to eat a little of the food. Remus shook his head and grinned. âNope! I will constantly bring it up. Maybe even teasingly throw a shoe at you so you can relive that perfect moment.â He giggled and nodded slowly. âI-I liked talking to you before and I think youâre a nice guy. A bit of a liar though since you are so not practically virginal. But Iâd like to get to know you a little better. And bringing me food? Youâve already won me over.â
The mention of his ex had Freddy frowning slightly. He didnât want Remus to think he had any intention of pursuing things with the woman who had thrown him out of the apartment, even if he wasnât sure why he needed to ensure that. âNo, no. Weâre not... sheâs not my... thatâs all overâ he explained, if a little awkwardly. Freddy smiled fondly at Remusâ action, slowly nodding his head. âI trust you. Hard to believe, right?â he laughed quietly, knowing that he didnât give off the impression that he was into that sort of thing - if stereotypes were anything to go by, that is. âSpider-man was always my favourite. Oh, and I was super into the X-Men comics for a while, actually. I grew out of it a bit once I found video games though, that was my next faze.â It was strange for Freddy to be revealing so much about himself, he usually tended to lie or avoid such subjects. âWhatever, I was just hungryâ he grumbled his excuse though he couldnât stop himself smiling at Remusâ cheesy grin. âAre you calling me hot?â he asked, wiggling his eyebrows dramatically. âI mean, obviously I am. I just like hearing you say itâ he continued, biting down on his bottom lip. âThatâs awesomeâ he nodded, his compliment genuine, pleased with the information that the other was clearly creative. âCan I see it? Or is it in a private area... actually, I still want to see it if it is.â The smirk on Freddyâs face could only be described as mischievous, his eyes quickly glancing over Remusâ body. âNo, I do want to see it! Iâd love to see it, itâs just... Iâm not really the best with that kind of thingâ he admitted, his voice a little quieter before his eyes lit up again. âYou might have to hold my hand if I get too scared.â Taking another long sip of his beer, he was quickly shaking his head as Remus continued. âYouâre cruel. Youâd really throw a shoe at me and risk messing up this perfection?â he asked, gesturing to his own face. âI am not a liar and once you do get to know me better, youâll be apologising for such a hurtful accusation. Good. Winning you over is exactly what Iâm trying to do.â
remusft:
Remus chuckled a little, grinning. âYeah, maybe youâre right. Friends do usually do nice things like that. I havenât had many people do that for me though so thank you.â His face lit up a little and he smiled. âAre you being serious about having Spider-Man pyjamas? You should definitely wear them next time, we can have a superhero slumber party because I have some âheroâ ones too!â He grinned, thankful for Freddy making it easier. âWhat? No noodles? Get out right now and go get some! How dare you!â He huffed before quickly erupting into giggles. He shook his head. âNo, you donât need to go get any, itâs a-okay. I like rice too! Itâs just as nice, donât worry. The fact you got all you did is amazing for me.â Remus looked over to him with a raised brow. He quickly glanced at his notepad with all the other unmade ideas. âWell, I still have a few to make if you really want to be in one. Theyâre all horror movies though. Thatâs what I do.â He shrugged before feeling his cheeks flushed a little.  Remus looked towards him and made an âehâ noise as he shrugged. âItâs probably not very good right now what with it not being complete but if you want to watch it, you can. Or you could wait until itâs finished and hopefully a little better.â  Remus licked his lips as he settled comfortably into the seat. After opening his own bottle, he lifted it to his lips and took a small sip. His brows raised and he made a face before chuckling. âThatâs definitely different to what I expected but⊠Itâs okay, yeah.â He nodded and set the bottle down. Remus crossed his legs under himself as he started to dish up some food for himself before chuckling. âI donât believe that at all, sorry. You do remember how we met, right?â He teased as he wiggled his brows and handed Freddy a plate and serving spoons. âWell⊠Iâm happy to see you again.â
âYouâre going to have to stop saying how nice it is or Iâll have to pick up the bag and leave. I donât do nice gesturesâ he grumbled though his words were clearly laced with humour. It was partly true, Freddy didnât usually do things for other people unless there was something in it for him but, surprisingly, he just genuinely felt like hanging out tonight. He paused at the question.âYes Iâm serious. But if you tell anyone that Iâll kill you!â He laughed, slowly shaking his head. âI used to be quite the comic book nerd back in the day. My mom... I guess she thought it was a great welcome home present to buy me some like the ones I had as a kidâ he explained with a fond smile. âHeyâ he whined, grabbing a cushion and throwing it gently at Remus. âDonât make fun of me. I just wanted it to be...â Stopping himself just in time before he used the word perfect, Freddy shrugged, âa nice evening and if that means getting you noodles, Iâd happily go get some.â Eyes following Remusâ, Freddy strained a little to get a quick glance at the notepad. âOnly if you want me o. I mean, Iâm sure Iâm a brilliant actor but I might steal the attention away from the plot by being so handsome. Horror, huh?â It wasnât what he would have guessed but that was just another reminder that he didnât know this guy all that well. Freddy, if he were being honest, was a bit of a wimp when it came to that sort of thing. It wasnât the gore, heâd played enough violent video games to deal with that but when it came to jump scares, they got him good. âHow.. uh, how scary is it?â he asked, trying to sound confident despite the slight change in his pitch. âItâs an acquired taste, Iâm sure. These happen to be my favouriteâ he informed, glancing at the brand label for a few seconds. He took the plate and cutlery from Remus, quickly laughing at his words. âIâm never going to live that down, am I? I assure you that was a very rare occurrence for me. Iâm practically virginal otherwiseâ he said, unable to help laughing at himself and how unconvincing he sounded. âYou are?â he asked, pausing in his actions of serving himself up some food to look over at Remus with a smile. âIâm happy to see you again too.â
remusft:
Remus shook his head, a pleased smile gracing his features. âIt is a big deal for you to do all this for me.â He looked down at himself, flushing a little when his pjâs were mentioned. He laughed nervously and nodded. âIâll uh⊠Iâll change into something else in a second if you want? I wasnât really expecting company.â Remus mused before his cheeks darkened a little more at the wink. God, Freddy could make him red as a tomato. His brow raised and a fond smile tugged at his lips. Nobody had really done something quite like this for him before. So to know Freddy put in so much effort, it made his heart skip a beat a little. âWell, luckily for you, I like all three of those things. Especially if there are noodles in that bag.â He grinned, looking at the other male. Remus chuckled a little, shaking his head. âIt wasnât porn. I donât really watch the stuff. It was uh⊠It was just something Iâm putting together. A movie. A short one for now, thereâs only so much you can do with just me and the few people who agree to be in it. Itâs not very special.â He shrugged it off but to him, it was special. It was starting to piece together his dream and he loved doing it. But he did have his setbacks with the limited resources and actors. Remus chewed his lip as he shook his head once again. âNo, I donât really drink. Do I look under twenty-one?â He gasped teasingly before laughing. âIâm twenty-three so yes. Just never really had the urge to try it. Only really seen it in a bad light.â He looked at the bottle as he thought for what felt like an eternity. âBut Iâll try a little sure.â Remus looked at Freddy with a raised brow. He crossed his arms over himself. âYâknow, I have a bottle opener? I donât want you winding up sending your teeth flying over the living room.â He smiled as he moved into the kitchen to grab plates and cutlery. Remus returned and set them on the coffee table. He moved to sit beside Freddy and opened a bottle of beer for himself. âSo, was you coming over here really just to thank me? No ulterior motive?â Remus questioned as he opened the bag, smiling at the smell of the different foods.
A somewhat frown passed Freddyâs lips. âWhat do you mean? This is what friends do, right? At least I assume. Iâve never really had many myselfâ he admitted, laughing awkwardly. âNo, you donât need to change. Like I said, you look cute. I only wish I hadnât changed out of my spider-man pyjamas before coming overâ he said with a crooked smile, feeling a strange urge to make the other feel less embarrassed. âNoodles, shit. I knew there was something I forgot to order. I just got rice. Uh... I can go and pick some up if you like?â he asked, shifting forward and preparing to run out to the nearest takeout spot. Sighing in false disappointment to the confirmation that it wasnât porn, Freddy slowly shook his head. âA movie?â he then quickly asked, his brow raised as his interest was visibly piqued. âWait, you make movies and you havenât even asked me to be in one yet? Iâm clearly star material, this is so offensive.â Dropping his jaw, any attempts at looking actually hurt by the matter were quickly flounced by the smile appearing on his face. âCan I see it or is it one of those private and can only be seen when itâs fully ready type things?â While he wanted to reiterate that he was sure it was special, he held back for now. âNot really but you can never be sure.â Remus saying he had only seen alcohol in a bad light had a flicker of recognition in his eyes. Freddy himself had seen the dark side of the substance, though it had never seemed to scare him away from it. But, he didnât think that was a conversation to be had now. Or ever, most likely. Hesitating a little, unable to help worrying that he was pushing Remus into it, Freddy eventually shrugged as the other returned and took the bottle from him. âIâll keep that in mind for the next oneâ he nodded with an awkward laugh, taking a long sip of his beer before setting it down. âUlterior motive? Me? I donât know what youâre talking about. Iâm as innocent as they come, my friend.â

Remus hummed to himself as he worked on putting together a movie. He frowned a little at the knock, clearly not expecting anyone since he was dressed in a tatty shirt and pyjama trousers. He sighed and pulled himself up off his sofa to answer the door. Remusâ eyes widened a little when he saw Freddy. He had to admit, the other male did interest him a lot. Though usually not someone Remus usually made friends with. He flushed a little when he realised what he was wearing. âUh, hey there⊠You, you really didnât have to do that.â Remus chuckled a little before ushering Freddy inside. He took the bag with a smile. âYou brought food even though you donât know what my likes and dislikes are? Or whether Iâm allergic to anything?â He then gasped dramatically and narrowed his eyes. âYouâre trying to kill me, not thank me!â Remus giggled, gesturing inside. âCâmon in, make yourself at home.â He moved to save the video file on his laptop before moving it to the side. Remus then noticed the pack of beers. âUh I uh⊠I donât actually drink⊠Or rather, Iâve never tried.â He set the bag down on the table. âYou want a plate?â
There was no hiding the smirk on Freddyâs face as he glanced over Remusâ pyjamas. Was it strange that he felt even more attracted to him looking like that? Probably and Freddy was quickly shaking off the thoughts. âItâs not a big dealâ he said, shrugging as he walked past the other and into the apartment. âCute pjsâ he soon added, going as far to shoot a wink at him. âYes, Iâm trying to kill you. Murder by takeaway is all the rage these daysâ he teased, laughing lightly. âI got a bit of a selection, to be honest. Since I didnât know what youâd like best. Thereâs some Chinese, Indian and I got a few tacos too.â There was the slightest pink tinge to Freddyâs cheeks as he realised he was giving away the effort heâd gone to and he turned his head quickly, hoping Remus didnât catch it. Following the otherâs instructions, he quickly settled himself on the sofa before glancing at the laptop that Remus had moved out of sight. âWhat are you hiding?â he asked, not caring if he sounded too intrusive. âIf itâs porn, you donât need to hide that stuff from me.â He laughed, almost certain it wasnât. âYou donât?â Freddy couldnât deny being a little surprised by the information, looking up at the male with widened eyes. âYouâre not... youâre over twenty-one, right?â Of course that was the only reason he could come up with. âYou want to try one?â he asked, holding out the bottle. His tone was gentle, wanting to assure Remus that it wasnât a problem if he didnât. Pulling another bottle from the pack, Freddy expertly used his teeth to open it - a terrible habit, one that his dentist had insisted he put a stop to but he was feeling the need to impress Remus, as though opening bottles with your teeth was all that impressive anyway. âPleaseâ he nodded in response to the question.Â
@remusftâ
Despite the unusual circumstances surrounding their first meeting, Remus had made a lasting impression on Freddy. Perhaps it was the fact that heâd met someone he wanted to sleep with that seemingly had no interest in sleeping with him or just the fact that he found the otherâs personality to be incredibly endearing. Either way, he was feeling rather persistent about inserting himself into the otherâs life. So, without any warning, he showed up at Remusâ apartment with a bag of takeout in one hand and a pack of beer in the other. He didnât really think about the fact that the other might be out or have other company, he just hoped for the best as he knocked on the door. Tapping his foot impatiently as he waited for it to open, Freddy smiled brightly as he eventually came face to face with Remus. âHey. I just thought Iâd bring some food over... you know, to thank you for helping me out the other dayâ he started, glancing over his shoulder before looking back at the other male. âYou better let me in quick in case you know who is lurking about.â

âThatâŠcertainly does not make this situation any betterâ she shook her head, if she could glare at him in this moment, she definitely would. He deserved at least an stern look. âIâm sure thereâs someone who can rescue us, right? Although the fact that we lost powerâŠwho knows how long weâll be here till someone wonders if anyone was using the elevatorâ she bit her lower lip, pressing as many buttons as she could. Defeated, she sat on the floor, letting out a sigh. âHow-how does this movie end? Just out of curiousity. Should I start crying now or?â
âSorryâ he quickly sad, though he couldnât help laughing as he did so which likely only made his apology sound insincere. âI donât know, isnât there usually like some intercom thing to call for helpâ he suggested but he didnât make an attempt to move yet considering how dark it was. Pulling out his phone, he looked at the screen before shrugging. âNo signal - oh, wait, here.â Pulling up the torch on his phone, he made his way to the front of the elevator and pressed the emergency button. âI guess now we wait.â Following suit, Freddy positioned himself on the floor next to her. âUh⊠the two people in the elevator realised that if they were going to die, they might as well make the most of the situation and die making outâ he lied, smirking at her even if she couldnât see him. âPretty great logic if you ask me.âÂ

Remus: For starters, I wouldn't even know how to. Secondly, no, not even in your hour of need.
Remus: Imagine I'm narrowing my eyes at you
Remus: That makes no sense whatsoever. Having her catch you sexting is just as mean as kicking her out! If not worse!
Remus: Just ask nicely, say you have to leave the house and she can't stay
Freddy: I didn't sneak my number in your phone for you to be so unhelpful :(
Freddy: I am imagining it, its very sexy
Freddy: Maybe for her but it's a lot easier for me
Freddy: Okay but if I get another pair of shoes thrown at me, it's all your fault

Remus: I'm gonna go with 0 or even something in the minuses. I don't sext
Remus: How would me sexting you help with that situation anyway?
Freddy: Not even in my hour of need?
Freddy: Imagine I'm fluttering my eyelashes at you right now and looking really pretty
Freddy: Because then I could leave my phone open for her to snoop when I go to the bathroom, she's the type to snoop I can tell. Then she'll see the texts and probably storm off, that's usually how it happens.
Freddy: I don't want to be mean and just kick her out.

Freddy: Answer this quick, it's an emergency!!
Freddy: Scale of 1-10 how against the idea of sexting me so I can get rid of this girl who's currently in my apartment would you be?
chrisstafford:
Chris thought she was really getting used to the sorts of weird things that happened in this town so she started to think she couldnât be surprised but as she opened the door to see a man only in his underwear standing right across the hall, she was forced to take those thoughts back. âGood morning,â she replied back slowly, looking surprised but not flustered or bothered by his appearance. âMindy tossed you out, huh?â Giving the guy a quick once over she let out a bit of a laugh and shook her head. âWhat did you do exactly?â
Leaning down to pick up his shoes, Freddyâs eyes shot back up at the girlâs words. âYou.. uh, you know her?â he asked, feeling immediately disappointed that, if they were friends, his chances with this girl would already be significantly lower. Not only because of the friend rule but because of the many negative stories his ex would had likely shared about him. The laugh did relax him a little. âWhat did I do?â Now he had to think of something that was bad enough to have him thrown out but still made him seem like an okay guy. âI told her I couldnât spend her birthday with her because... Iâm... doing some volunteer work.â Good one, Freddy. If youâre going to lie, why make it simple when you can make it a lie that youâre going to have to build on and will eventually be caught out by?
levichill:
âI sure hope theyâre okay! They look nice, and shoes really are the most important part to any outfit. I once had a funeral for a pair of shoes that were destroyed in a heartbreaking incident in 09⊠I can feel the tears coming up just from thinking about it,â he rambled, fanning his face as if to fight back his crying. Levi quirked an eyebrow at the wince, though really just looking amused over the entire thing. âWhatever way I see fit?â Levi hadnât expected the other male to start flirting, but Levi quickly pushed his apartment door open further, tilting his head to encourage the other to come in. âI guess that all depends on why you were kicked out. Was she disappointed in you?â He looked the male up and down, an amused quirk of his lips. â⊠and I must tell you Iâm an engaged man, sadly enough⊠though, we have an open relationship. Do with that information as you will, darling.â
"I think theyâre fine though they might be tainted forever with hurtful memoriesâ he said with a dramatic sigh but he was quickly holding back a smile at the otherâs story. âAs intrigued as I am, Iâll refrain from asking about this mystery incident. We donât want you crying.â Shaking his head, Freddy shrugged casually. âItâs only fair that I give you the power considering the fact that youâre feeding me and offering me shelter in this very difficult time.â Dropping his jaw, Freddy let out a short burst of laughter. âHow dare you. I promise you that wasnât the issue but... if you donât believe me then Iâd be happy to prove it to you.â His expression changed pretty quickly as the man went on, looking disappointed by the news of the engagement but eventually his eyes flashed with excitement. âYou donât say? Open relationships happen to be my favourite kind.â
maggie-daily:
Maggie let out a scoff. âAs much as letting a total stranger who has just made it clear he is actually not a hair dresser dye my hair is something Iâd probably do, since itâs stupid and crazy and that is what Iâm known for in my decision making process, I kinda want to keep my hair on my head.â she teased a little. âI do. If you want you can always come over and check some of it out.â she nodded. There was never a bad time to promote her art, and who knows maybe if he thinks sheâs cute enough heâll be a patron. The next thought to cross her head was if she slept with a patron would it be prostitution, but she shook that one away quick enough. âOh. Thatâs so a challenge. I am gonna take you shopping and put you in parachute pants, a bowling shirt and pointy alligator shoes.â she teased a bit. âYou may be cute, but that doesnât mean you can pull of clothing that needs to be burned.â Maggie tilted her head a little. âYou make so many statements that make you have to prove yourself. Are you just trying to impress me?â she laughed a little, leaning into him. âIâm Maggie.â
"Your lack of faith in me is frankly offensiveâ he pouted, though he knew the idea of her trusting him to do that when theyâd only just met was pretty ridiculous. Raising an eyebrow, he was quickly smirking at her. âIs this just your way of trying to get me into your apartment? You donât even know my nameâ he pointed out, gasping with false shock. âWhatever, put me in whatever you want. Youâll be the one feeling foolish when I still look like a greek god.â Childishly, he stuck his tongue out at her. âI actually own a bowling shirt. Just on the off chance that I might want to go bowling and look the part.â Freddy smiled happily at the compliment, he never really grew tired of hearing them. âI canât help it, Iâm feeling strangely competitive with this guy whoâs supposedly more interesting than me. Of course. Whatâs the point in talking to people if youâre not trying to impress them?â he suggested, turning away from her for a second to get the attention of the bartender. âWhat are you drinking, Maggie?â
zoeyspellman:
âInvisible but⊠likable, I guess. At least not a prick. But if that was your goal all along⊠good for you or whatever,â she said, rolling her eyes and looking away from him. âI just donât see the point in acting like something Iâm not. Iâve tried lying about shit and you know what? Itâs never worth it in the end.â She just shook her head at him, sighing though looking back with offense clear in her face at his words. â⊠are you fucking kidding me right now? You canât think of a reason? Not even one? Are you trying to piss me off or do you really just not give one single fuck about how much youâve fucked up peopleâs lives.â That was unfair of her, it wasnât entirely his fault after all. A share of the blame was hers but most of it came from the school and the other students. Still⊠it was easier to have one person to direct her anger at rather than many.
âA prick? Bit harsh, Zo. This is the first conversation weâve had since Iâve been back and youâre already deciding you hate me?â he challenged, taking the final sip from his glass before reaching for the bottle and refilling it. âI agree. You shouldnât be anything other than yourself.â His words were a little hypocritical, considering he had undergone a lot of changes to ensure he was nothing like his former self but who was to say which was the real him? He couldnât quite tell. Her response was confusing, alarming and offensive all at the same time, Freddy leaning forward in his seat with widened eyes. âWhat?â That was all he could say at first, trying to make sense of what she was saying. âIâm not trying to piss you off... it seems like I donât even have to try, honestly. But I donât know what youâre talking about. What lives have I supposedly fucked up?â Sighing, Freddy ran a hand through his hair. âI know things got a little awkward between us and then we lost contact but thatâs just what happens after high school, right? I didnât think youâd still hold a grudge.â After theyâd slept together, their friendship had ended pretty quickly - mostly due to them both avoiding each other, clearly embarrassed by the whole thing. With college approaching, Freddy had isolated himself from pretty much everyone, deciding to focus on school work and keep himself away from any drama surrounding the entire situation. Hence why he was so oblivious.Â
