Caine handles your moody self like a pro with cuddles, and teases involved. While things were just about to get heated again, you two get interrupted not only once but twice. This affects Caine's behavior. Whether it's good or bad, it is up to you to decide.

You stir, lifting your blanket over your head. You definitely aren't the morning type of person. Your ears sharpen as an awful familiar chuckle breaks the silence, making it almost look like a defensive reaction.
“I've always suspected you aren't a morning person, my dear.”
You huff, curling into a ball under the blankets as you refuse to acknowledge his teasing tone in this early hour. An arm wraps around your waist, tugging you close into the Ringmaster's chest. A shiver runs down your spine as his free hand runs through your locks.
“Lemme sleep…” You mutter groggily, turning over so that you're facing him, the covers falling off your head in the process. You couldn't help but nuzzle against him, feeling way too clingy despite being grumpy. Caine wraps both of his arms around you now, cradling you. He sure did tire you out after last night's events…
And knowing Caine, he'll make it up to you with cuddles and affection. Otherwise he'd die of the guilt nagging in the back of his mind.
You feel the way he buries his face into the crook of your neck, his breath hot on your skin. A whimper escapes your throat as his tongue meets your skin, deliberately biting over sensitive spots he took notice of and made sure of saving them in his code memories. You try pushing him off half-hearted, protesting. “You already left more than enough hickeys… We both know you can make them disappear without breaking a sweat.”
Caine hums even though he's not listening at all, too busy demolishing your neck. “Caine, I mean it-! AH-! CAINE!” He bites down a little too hard, leaving a deep red bite mark on the spot where your neck meets your shoulder blade. “That's on me, my darling bee.” He licks over the mark, soothing its aching pain. “It burns like hell…” Your face contorts into a frown, teeth clenched.
He finally pulls away, his thumb caressing your cheek as he helps you relax. Gosh, you can't even stay mad at him. He just can't help himself when he's around you. The Ringmaster pulls you impossibly close, holding you in a bear hug. You find yourself snuggling even closer, ignoring the fact that there's no distance left to close. Both of you are desperate for each other's warmth and love, there's no doubt.
You tilt your chin up to meet his heterochromia eyes. And honestly? You'll never get tired of looking at him. He pushes a loose strand behind your ear, his glove brushing against your skin. Speaking of his gloves, you notice that his usual Ringmaster attire was replaced by simple red and silky pajamas with little bumblebees all over. You chuckle fondly, trailing your finger down his chest. He catches your wrist not a second later, rubbing his thumb over your knuckles.
“You're making me all worked up again…”
“Isn't that a good thing, my darling dear?”
“Guess.”
You climb on top of him, your hands propped on either side of his head. “You know what I want, love.” You shift only for him to grab your hips. That's a new one. “I'm not planning on keeping you waiting then.” In the next second, you're the one pinned down, the moment about to turn all heated again when suddenly-
POP! Bubble.
“Hey, boss! Since when do you hook-” Another pop sound. Caine pops Bubble before you could even realize it popping into existence in the first place. “Insolent pest.” He snarls. Did he just curse? You smirk, turned on by this side of him. “What a mouth you have, honey…” You mock him. Big mistake. He hooks your leg over his hip to pull you in close before capturing your lips with his tongue, taking your breath away.
He pulls away after some time, letting you catch your breath. “I was supposed to be the one shutting you up for once-” He doesn't let you finish, diving back in again. His hand finds the back of your neck as he kisses you senseless for a few good minutes.
The kiss turns into a lazy and messy one until Caine decides to let you breathe again. You look at him with pure love in your eyes while he returns the exact same look only with a hint of need in them.
“I didn't push it too far, right, my dear?”
You shake your head, pulling him down to lie down next to you again. “Not at all. You're-”
KNOCK! KNOCK!
You jump at the sudden knocking before a voice calls out. One you know too well. “Hey, Caine! You in there?” Jax.
Shit. Your grip on Caine tightens, wanting to disappear into his warmth. He responds by running his fingers through your locks, uncharacteristically calm after being interrupted twice. He nuzzles his face against yours, not wanting to release you.
“Oi! You can't tell me you're not in there! Y/N's also gone! Care to explain that?~” The rabbit starts banging on the door like a madman. His constant banging annoys the hell out of you both. Caine's teeth clamp shut, his irritation practically rating off him. You sigh, cradling and caressing his jaw in order to calm his nerves. He actually purrs at your touch.
“HEYYY!! I'm bored and Ragatha and Gangle are getting way too boring to pick on.”
“Fuck off, easter bunny!”

“Holy shit. Is that you in there, Y/N?! HA! So you are into Caine, huh? I should've just gone with the bet.”
SNAP!
The door suddenly moves by itself, leaving its original place and losing its purpose only for it to slam into Jax at high speed, not giving him any time to brace for impact as he's thrown across the hallway and slammed into the wall across, sandwiched between the door and wall. He lets out a pained ‘oof!’, dazed.
Your gaze immediately finds the sudden commotion, blinking confused but not making a move to get out of bed to check on Jax. The door moves to its place again with a ‘click’. Comfortable silence fills the room. You find yourself shrugging your shoulders, turning your attention back to Caine.

A mischievous expression is implanted on his face. And that's all you need to see to know that it was all his doing. A groan escapes you but you can't seem to scold him, snuggling closer instead. Your movement earns a content hum from Caine, his eyes falling on you instead. And you could've sworn that there's something almost close to possessiveness in them. You don't comment on it, too sleepy and comfy in his arms to even care.
“Just keep looking at me, dear. Just me…”
“Not planning on doing otherwise, love…”
He tugs you closer in a swift move, burying his face in your neck as he takes your scent in. He always does that. You two fall asleep in a deep slumber not too long after.
Physical touch always seemed to be his love language.
