He was fine just the way he was. “A... Soap opera.... Well I don’t really know much about those but... I can give it a try, if thats what you want me to do on the show...”

“I mean, I don’t know much about romance outside of movies. I’ve only been living for like 2 years now....” He shrugged. It was a bit of a hobby and dream of his, wanting to have someone special to shower with cliche affections. He wasn’t too worried about it at this point though. Having all the friends in the world was all he really needed.

“Yeah, you kinda remind me of one. Specially the boots, yeknow?” He smiled, nodding his head. “I guess you could, honestly...”

Freddy had been carrying his boombox, roller skating as he listened to his 90′s tunes through the machine. He had been daydreaming, and didn’t notice the red-headed monster just up ahead. He ended up colliding with her and falling back, losing balance and falling as he tried to secure his boombox.

*”I’m so sorry!” *”I should really look where I’m going! Sorry dude!”

It was a little embarrassing, but he was a pretty big fan of the show anyways. He realized there was little to be embarrassed about though, seeing as he entered the contest and won somehow. 

“Well yeah I guess. Those movies have the guy doing all this real nice stuff, making the girl real happy in the end! I live for that kinda stuff!” He was surprised he hadn’t heard of them. “You haven’t? Well jee, you can borrow some of mine if you wanna. Besides, you kinda look like an 80′s glam rocker... How can you not know of em?”

Freddy knew in the contest description that it had stated ‘A day with Mettaton, and a special guest appearance on his show!’, but it hadn’t really clued in until just then. “Well.. I hope I do okay. Not much of a TV person. Less you count romantic 80′s movies!”

Freddy looked down at his shaking unbalanced legs, and saw a spark of hope. Mostly because Mettaton sounded very convincing in his speak. “Really..? Gnarly...” 

“Wait... I’ve never been on television before...”
