The familiar metallic voice stopped her dead in her tracks. Was he talking to…her?? She looked over at him to see that, yes, he was talking directly to her.

“Oh, n-no I was just —  but what I mean to say is —  oh, my god I just — !!!!”

She clamped her paws over her mouth to stop her from saying anything too embarrassing, only managing to squeak out a small “Sorry!!” before falling silent.

She never actually expected to be in this situation. Like, the most she had hoped for was for him to glance towards her way. But now he’s actually talking to her, and called her a cutie nonetheless?? She felt like she was gonna faint. 

Geez, she kinda hoped he didn’t actually call security on her, though.

Mettaton approached the small, spherical monster as she spoke and effectively sized her up in the process. With hands on his hips, the idol admired the way Nyanya looked at him with that sparkle in her eye and noted how lavishly it complimented the glittering bows she wore.

Clearly this little monster had been swept up by the rush of fans making their way out of the studio. The poor thing. This just wouldn’t do. “I didn’t mean to startle you, darling.” He assured, “Oh! I know just what you need! You just wait right here for me!”

Mettaton offered a wink before sauntering back towards the stage area. He disappeared onto the set briefly before returning with the show’s pre-made cake in hand. It even had his autograph... signed in pink icing. “How about a little souvenir?”

MTT NEO was so easily destroyed because he fought to PROTECT people. He should have done it to just KILL the sassy creature. After all, Mettaton was too nice and sweet to fight against such a genocider. I love how he never hesitates to show the creepy side of his face in a fierce battle without his audience.
