this started as a stream-of-consciousness piece to try and get less uptight about drawing things perfectly but it started to develop once i thought about the implications of drawing fritz in a program i haven’t used since before i created him (almost a decade ago now). from the perspective of a drawing, how would it feel to be there? would it feel like looking through pictures of your parents when they were young, or perhaps like visiting an archeological site? in a sense, fritz is being temporally displaced
