When Losing Your Wallet is a Blessing In Disguise Losing one's wallet is a scenario that many of us would consider to be a nightmare of epic proportions. Just when you realize it, you start to panic and your heart starts to palpitate at a rate you didn't think was possible. You start to beat yourself up with questions which seem to be hopeless. "Where did I have it last?", "Will I even end up finding it?", "Will someone be nice enough to return it?", "Did I leave it at home?", "What will I do without my credit cards, ID or money?!".

Barry is getting ready in a frenzy for a second date with a woman he is very fond of. He's running late, but at least he's looking the sharpest he has probably looked all year. Don Draper couldn't even be a match for Barry's suave and suited look. He grabs his phone and his car keys as he steps out the door and hops into his car. Barry calls his date, Fiona, and let's her know that he'll be there shortly and is running late. He knows that once he tells Fiona that he has to drive back home to get his wallet, she'll think he is a total moron. Luckily, Barry is actually not a complete moron. He sees the silver lining in the cloud and realizes he's not screwed after all.
Having heard remarkable things about it from his friends, he orders an Uber Black Car for the first time ever. She spots a driver pull up in a shiny black limousine and glances over at Barry with an excited smile. He smiles back when she asks him what they're doing next. Barry has a plan and improvises; similar to a Super Bowl-worthy quarterback calling "audibles" and connecting for touchdowns in the end-zone.
They head on over towards downtown where he makes reservations at Allium at the Four Seasons, a restaurant she has always talked about going to since the last time she stayed at the hotel with her family. They order a meal that looks so good that she downloads Instagram just to snap a picture of her #foodporn. After dinner, Barry takes his date to a concert where her favorite DJ is spinning at one of the coolest local clubs, called Soundbar. He orders a bottle of Grey Goose for himself and a few of her friends that meet them there. Barry continues on with his magic as the night stretches on. Dinner, movies, and a few drinks later, Barry asks Fiona if she'd like to go on a helicopter ride at Bachman Aero the following day. Of course, she replied "YES!!" almost loud enough for the whole club to hear. At this point, Barry is ecstatic beyond imagination and is feeling like a million bucks. They say their farewells, leave Soundbar, and head back to his place in the back of an Uber. Upon arrival, she asks him, "How'd you afford all that tonight? Actually, I didn't even see you pay for anything a single time! Are you a local celebrity, or a star, or something?" She starts giggling. He looks over to his nightstand and sees that his wallet is still sitting there safe and sound. "Well see that? I thought I lost my wallet but realized it's been sitting here the entire time, that's why you didn't see me pay even once.", Barry explained. "So you ARE a local celebrity?!" she replies. Barry laughs and continues, "Something like that! Everything was FREE because I used this app called Freebie.
