Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻

Had a revelation recently and thought it might help other people too.

There is absolutely NO shame in having a ton of projects on the go and switching between or even dropping them on a whim.

Hobbies are meant to be FUN.

You can have 20 writing projects, or knitting, or whatever your thing is, and putting them down for a bit or abandoning them is a-okay.

I personally would never think that someone who started playing a video game and then decided to play another before it was finished was a quitter, so why am I so judgemental towards myself?

Doing your hobbies in a way that brings you joy isn't selfish or weak, it's...literally the whole point of them. Go nuts!

bf admitted he likes being bossed around which is insanely funny considering 1) my mom always told me id never find a partner bc i can be bossy (just comes built in being the oldest sibling also Literally got it from her. also im a virgo not my fault) 2) i was asking him because i was worried i was doing it unconsciously (i try my best not to be) but then he was like no keep doing it i like it

to be fair he has had the same concerns about him being blunt or getting moody/grumpy over little things (which i just find cute honestly and i like having problems to solve anyway) so i gues sits like. normal. when you love someone to worry that theyll see all your “ugly” traits up close and personal but the thing is love makes those things well. beloved. at the very least theyre endearing and funny.
