Crew Iâve never announced my departure from tumblr but seeing as I have a decent following (PSA never tell your number or brag about it thatâs how you get bopped by the tumby police.) Iâd figure Iâd say peace âđŸ. Itâs been a long long time in my journey on tumblr. Many of you havenât even been alive long enough to full grasp or has used tumblr when it was the REAL TUMBLR. Hopefully it comes back at some point in the future but this isnât for me anymore. A few notes for you maybe itâll help you in life maybe not đ€·đŸââïž. Listen life can be really short or really long the choice is completely up to you.
Donât dwell on the past forgive but never forget. Let whatever you felt mold you into the person you are. But you mustnât hold onto that anger or that hate in any capacity trust me itâs completely and utterly draining and exhausting being mad and sad all the fucking time. I spent the first 18 years of my life angry at the world and it was absolutely EXHAUSTING. No matter if your black or white or Asian or Arab or if your gay or straight or tall or small or fat or skinny or a man or a women. NONE OF US have a clue what we are doing we are on a rock floating in space what even is a rock?! What even is space?! Exactly. Itâs all relative for this life or if you like all for the plot. I grew up in an all white family as the only colored boy back in the 90âs (donât worry why none of your business) so Iâve been around the block save to say. Grew up in New York lost my dad at 10 and left to my own devices Iâve made mistakes like us all but you live and learn and grow. The whole entire point of this experience of life is individual growth. The only way you can do that is by listening to all opinions and ideas even ones you hate and ones you love, itâs the only one to cement your own opinions and views. But you mustnât stay stagnant. Thatâs death. Thatâs why they say donât go even NEAR stagnant water because of brain eating amoebas. Use that analogy for life. Stagnant = death or complacency =death. You should strive for me from this world and life.
Money is important but itâs not the all end goal is this life. Make your bread for sure save save save save save no matter what but donât stress over it. It comes it goes but if you save and have a nice little nest egg your cooling.
Alcohol. Do not drink alcohol by any means at all. Alcohol is poison and if you are a logical smart person who graduated the first grade you know that investing poison is NOT a good idea. Alcohol is what the government and the world uses to suppress us. Suppress your ideas your growth your love. When I was young I was also under that guise of âalcohol is poison and I have things inside me I have to killâ thatâs destructive mentality. But also alcohol is boring and why would you partake in something that is not only boring by extremely hazardous to your health.
Weed donât be afraid to try it and give it a shot but remember it is NOT for everyone and you Mustnât feel pressure to do it for any reason whatsoever same for alcohol same for sex same for anything. Do it because YOU want to simple as that.
Workout. Workout as much as you can thatâs going to the gym if you can or going for a walk or run or even understanding and knowing how to lift correctly with your legs and not your back. That even goes for heavy things even small things donât risk your back itâs a horrible horrible thing to have chronic back pain trust me.
Nature. Spend as much time as humanly possible outside any chance you get. No shoes barefoot embrace the energy Mother Earth has. Rivers, oceans, mountains, the forest all of it any chance you get embrace it and itâll help center you even in your worst moments.
Touchy subjects. Politics sex drugs religion etc etc. know your place. When I owned the liquor store it was around the time where the world was extremely volatile. I would tell me employees even if you disagree with someone insanely strongly keep it to yourself. People not knowing everything about you especially your very private personal opinions is a super power. Itâs the same realm as racist they see a person whoâs black or white and they automatically have an idea in their head of who you are. Now that doesnât mean bend over and take it but know your place.
Labels. When I was young in the 90âs the point was to avoid labels. Avoid being tied to one thing or one idea. Thatâs the same thing as I said up there đđŸfor an analogy you may know of not but I donât know it word for word but you ever heard of the frog in the boiling pot of water? He canât get out because of the pot itself but he isnât too concerned because itâs nice and warm. Little does he know heâs being cooked to death. Complacency equals death. Now we have so many obnoxious labels and terms the world did a fulllllll flip. That goes from sexual orientation to race to everything. We need less labels just exist. The only label that makes sense collectively is âhumanâ we are all humans. ïżŒ
Love. Love is everything and everything is love. But without hate there canât be love and vice versa. You canât force people to love you either you have to let them come and let them go thatâs how life is.
Death. Many things in this world people donât like to embrace or talk about death is most definitely one of those things. Iâve been surrounded by death my whole life the first body I ever saw and felt was my dads at 10. Then I lost many friends due to over doses and suicide and one devastating accident that took one of my closest friends before he even turned 21. Never got over never will.
