I recently got this album as a gift. "Works" is a ECM series where they re-publiced selected songs from previous albums. It's a really good introduction if you don't know Gary Burtons work during the early 70s so far.

I'm always gonna be impressed by Gary Burtons solos, he really was one of the masters of "true" improvisation - there are no learned licks at all which is quite inspiring as a musician. Even tho this record does not have an arc of suspense like the Gary Burton albums do, i had a good time listening. 7/10

I already anticipate radfems shouting this is unacceptable because abortion restrictions predominantly affect women, and that the overturning didn't have trans people in mind but is oriented at controlling women's autonomy. However, some trans people need access to abortions, reproductive healthcare, and safe avenues for both. Instead of declaring their attempts to support protecting reproductive rights as a narcissistic ploy consider that they also have an interest in fighting misogynistic legislation and protecting reproductive rights. Even disregarding how this struggle affects them as well as you, consider that they may push back against anti-abortion policies because its just the right thing to do.
