I recently got this album as a gift. "Works" is a ECM series where they re-publiced selected songs from previous albums. It's a really good introduction if you don't know Gary Burtons work during the early 70s so far.
I'm always gonna be impressed by Gary Burtons solos, he really was one of the masters of "true" improvisation - there are no learned licks at all which is quite inspiring as a musician. Even tho this record does not have an arc of suspense like the Gary Burton albums do, i had a good time listening. 7/10
