Reading this at the moment! Thanks @snapannie for the copy I still have all these years on. It took me a while to get into because I have only read one other book set in Nigeria. It is shameful- I really do find that I read books that I relate to. Look at this beautiful sky and moon last night! Made the effort to go for a tiny walk last night after dinner. It is so hot here- and I’m slightly worried about how I will manage this heat in actual summer. Today we visited The Silent Pool, pure close to where we stay- look at this water! It is Tomb Raider water. There is a vineyard, and a gin distillery (who make CBD infused gin), I spotted a trout in the water which was super exciting as usually it’s only ever those wee mini boys I find in fresh water.
