Curling was fun.

But I seem to have bruised my right ankle.

It is not nearly as easy as the Olympic team made it aeem.

One of those days where it feels like everything presented to me just buries me in more work with no line in sight for a decline in stress.

On the upside, most of the day is going to be spent in meetings so clocking my "timesheets" will be easy, but nothing major will actually be accomplished.

I have a sales pitch meeting at the end of the day that concludes with "learning how to curl" so that is fun and something to look forward to.

Had dinner last night with my youngest and her fiancee.

His birthday party is planned for Saturday and I'm looking forward to spending time with all of their friends.

I have tickets for The Last Dinner Party concert Sunday night and I'm struggling to find someone to join me.

The joys of working in office.

Stuck on a support call that has been going for an hour and half, but something not super serious, but a package for mom has been delivered and she can’t move it (console to build for putting a TV on) plus two or three packages that got delivered to my house and I have an hour drive home.

This support call is pretty important, so I can’t just get off the call.

Mom just called (a little after 10am) saying she hasn't heard from the moving company yet. But she also seemed confused that I am working.

This is one of the other things that weighs on me, her ability to cognitively connect what day of the week it is and understand that I do work (even if I am at home).

But I told her that I would come over on my lunch break to check in and help her.
