thinkin about hau and guzma's relationship ,,,Guzma was obviously really close with Hala when he was little, so I believe that his affinity for Hau comes from a very personal place (i.e. their shared love for the old man)...he sees himself in Hau and doesn't want him to turn down the path he took, he wants this little man to be happy...and hau just absolutely adores Guzma he thinks he's hilarious, hau is unintentionally the greatest ragebaiter of all time. not to be one of those "assigns a traditional familial role to every single character" people but, there truly is a deep brotherly love there that I would love to explore in writing some more
