I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to say this over the last few days.

The New York abortion law does not allow for infanticide. The bill simply allows women to have an abortion if her health would be at risk by continued pregnancy / delivery or if the fetus is incapable of surviving outside the womb.

No doctor is going around providing third trimester abortions just for shits and giggles.

“Womans health” is a broad term. If a woman states that having the baby is affecting her “mental” or “financial” health she may get a late term abortion. In no way does the woman have to be at risk of dying for an abortion to be performed.

Also, youd be surprised at what abortion doctors would do for some extra money (late term abortions cost more, therefore they would make more money).

That legislation you want passed doesn’t fucking have anything to do with your bodies. Late term abortions are performed to save the mother in the case of a LIFE OR DEATH emergency/threat to her life. The other reason they’re performed is if the child inside of the mother is already dead.

SINCE NONE OF YOU CAN CARRY A CHILD TO TERM, SIT THE FUCK DOWN AND SHUT YOUR MOUTHS. You’re not the one whose life will be in jeopardy if bills like this pass

I’m a woman, and I would’ve stood & cheered at the anti-abortion comments. Not everyone is happy about it. There is no reason for late term abortion. None. They invented C-sections for emergencies. There’s no excuse to murder a baby.

Have you guys heard about Schrodinger’s cat? Schrodinger, a German psychologist, put a cat inside a box with a small hole at the top. At mealtime, Schrodinger first rang a bell and then fed the cat some fish through the hole. Eventually, the cat presumably began to drool and soak the box after the bell rang, simply because it had been conditioned to know food was coming. However, since Schrodinger was unable to see into the box, he had to conclude that there was a chance the cat might not even be alive and that the box itself was drooling.
