I would die for Tessa. I would find her 200 toothbrushes.
So it looks like Tessa has been using these veggietales toothbrushes for ages, but has misplaced the stash.
i love translators’ notes. i love seeing a little footnote that’s like “compare my good and grass-touching translation to the STUPID translations of smith and johnson, who rendered the passage ‘xyz’ because their heads are so far up their ass they’re giving ouroboroses body dysmorphia” or “this sentence isn’t translated very well, but that’s because the author wasn’t making any FUCKING sense”
just had a really good mango it was so good that i had to illustrate how it made me feel afterwards.
op’s tags are so fucking important to me

How could you forget all the cool heavy metal ladies!? The metal scene of Botswana is NOT just a boys club
Botswana Metal aesthetic is something I never knew I needed until it was shown to me.

Domination in 2,545 Endgame Studies by Genrikh Kasparyan
No training regimen is complete without endgame studies. You can be lax about studying this one. You don't have to get them all right, but you should at least learn the ideas.
Tip: Try to solve a few of these before a long game or session.
...And that wraps up this "series". I hope this proves useful. Here's a study, white to play and win:

Chess Training Pocket Book: 300 Most Important Positions & Ideas by Lev Alburt
TACKY COVER!! TACKY COVER!! I know, but this is Alburt's magnum opus and the most practical tactics book I've ever read.
Tip: Train your visualization until you can solve the material in this book off your recollection of the position. I learned this training method from the book "Together With Morozevich" (2017). It can dramatically improve your calculation in a short amount of time

Attack with Mikhail Tal by Mikhail Tal
This is an excellent guide on practical attacking play by none other than the great maestro himself. You'll learn far more from this than from Vukovic's "Art of Attack in Chess".
Tip: In general you'll need at least three pieces involved in an attack for it to be successful

"Chess Endings: Essential Knowledge" by Yuri Averbakh
This book contains the bare minimum one must know about the endgame. To quote World Champion José R. Capablanca:
"In order to improve your game, you must study the endgame before everything else, for whereas the endings can be studied and mastered by themselves, the middle game and the opening must be studied in relation to the endgame" (Last Lectures, 1966)
Tip: For improvement prefer Rapid to Blitz
